Yes, this place is take out only. The menu is focused on stuff that's smoked. We got sweet potato fries, smoked chicken quesadilla, and a smoked chicken sandwich. When my hubby ordered the fries, they said they have a topping for the fries that involves powdered sugar and maple syrup. He declined, since we were looking for a savory side and I hate maple. For $9 the fries were not plentiful, but they were very good and hot. Crispy, but not salted. We used our little provided salt packets to salt them. BTW, there are no sauces on offer either so a side of ketchup or bbq sauce was not available. Perhaps it is available on request. The smoked chicken quesadilla was good. It did come with salsa and sour cream on the side, but I could have used more salsa. It had around 8 pieces and I brought the leftovers home. I liked that it had peppers and onions in there, would have liked more. The chicken was good. The quesadilla was very hot. (I really don't enjoy cold food that is supposed to be hot, so this is a thing with me) My husband wanted the smoked burger bacon cheeseburger that was on the menu, but they said they don't have it anymore. He made a last minute decision to get the smoked chicken sandwich. (He thought afterwards that he should have gotten pulled pork). The sandwich was generous, with two chicken breasts well smoked. The bite I had was dry, but he said after you got into the sandwich there was tomato which helped things. In my opinion, all BBQ places should offer extra sauce on the side. And since we were at a non food serving bar (1405 Saloon next door) there was no ketchup or mustard that we could add. The sandwich was also piping hot (good thing). I suggested he could put some of the Cole slaw inside the sandwich, but he did not want to do that because my crazy-for-Coleslaw hubby did not like it! He said it was store bought and very sweet. It did look store bought. IMHO, all BBQ places should make their own slaw. Come on, it isn't that hard. This is all about the change, as the bartender at the saloon told us that Dex N Angie House of Flavor will be moving to larger quarters down the street and will be adding Cajun food to their menu. It isn't determined yet what will be filling their old location, but it seems per bartender that several other local and food truck businesses are in the running.

It's got that perfect mix of sports bar energy and casual family dining. The bar side has the buzz, the restaurant side is a little more chill, and both have plenty of TVs if you're here to catch the game. The staff is consistently friendly and quick, even on busy nights, and the food is always solid. Wings, burgers, wraps -- we've tried a little of everything, and it's all good. (Special shoutout to their fries -- crispy, golden perfection.) When it comes to wings, we're partial to ordering them "well Wally wet" -- trust me, that's the move. The guys love the "everything sauce," which is exactly what it sounds like: a mix of all their sauces in one glorious combo. You can even order all flats for a small upcharge, which is a nice touch for fellow wing purists. We just celebrated our son's 20th birthday here, and the GM surprised us by buying dessert for the table. Totally unexpected and so appreciated! It's little touches like that that make a place feel local-loved rather than just local-known. Whether you're watching the game, grabbing dinner after work, just giving your kitchen a night off, or having a celebration, Houligan's Palm Coast is one of those dependable spots that never misses.

This saved me a trip to another pretzel place over 30 mins away! We got 2 orders of these things! They were that good! The honey mustard that came with them was delicious! They were so hot, crunchy, salty and soft inside. Everything you want in a pretzel in one delectable bite! I ordered a Buffalo Chicken salad, son got chicken tenders and my daughter got the Club wrap. The salad was cold and crisp. Dressing obviously home made! All were delicious! Definitely worthy of re-orders! In addition, we had them bring fried pickles with our meals. I couldn't believe the portion! Massive! The ranch accompaniment was delicious. Would definitely return again soon! Our server, Maddie was attentive and quick! Every time I have ever been here everyone has been great! If you like a sports bar atmosphere with trivia games on the TV's and great food you can't go wrong!

The seating area around the bar is a mix of high and low tops. The high tops offer a great view of the planes and TVs in a sports bar type atmosphere; 70's and 80's music enhanced and not overwhelmed the experience. They also have outside patio seating with a small play area. We started with the buffalo shrimp. Six large deep fried shrimp. Nicely seasoned with some tasty blue cheese. Next we added a cup of the New England clam chowder and the Wisconsin beer cheese soup, both of which were thick and had a rich taste. We finished with sharing a fish sandwich that can't be described any other way than HUGE compared to the bun. The house made kettle chips were a very nice addition. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu. All servers were friendly and efficient. They offer a full bar and cold beer. Be sure to ask about the drink specials. My husband's beer was on special for $2. I tried the Flagler Sunset. It was a good mix of rum and fruit juices. It had been a number of years since we stopped here but it definitely won't be that long next time.

Initially, we struggled to find a good place that covered if not all, most of our culinary expectations, including quality, price, taste and customer service. The Bantam Chef, rang the bell in each of those departments. I learnt that they have been in business for over 40 years( no surprise there) . They have a winner here. The one negative criticism I would mention, is that the exterior buildings could use a good pressure wash and a fresh coat of paint. Not much to ask for an otherwise great business venture.

That is, until a classic BMW rider I talked to on the beach mentioned it. So I figured, what the heck, give it a shot! All of the seating is outdoors, so you are going to be subject to whatever weather is occurring, though the seating is under cover, with two large areas. I sat in the second area that isn't right next to the ordering window, and apparently is not used as heavily. Service was pretty standard. Order at the window, get a ticket number, then wait for it to be called and go pick up your order. No hassles. While it was suggested to me originally that I try the fish as it was the best in the area, I really wasn't feeling up to a fish sandwich, so I went for a burger instead. I have been to a lot of different burger places around North Florida, and this fits right in with the standard burger stand style burger. Price was also right in there with the rest of the places I have been to. The fish that I was seeing come out did look pretty good, so perhaps next time (and there should be a next time) I will try that out instead of the burger. It is nice to know that there is a place like this along the way that I can count on for having this kind of food.

We asked if it came with, and they said sure, and then charged us for celery. No carrots. But, they were very fresh. Server was nice, but a little pushy. There's a fine line between being pushy and helpful, and I felt more like the latter, though i would say it was more like 60-40 than 100 blown out pushy. I kept on feeling bad for ordering just wings and not getting a third glass of beer or sides.
