LOVE Lil Thai House! Husband and wife team with what I used to say was the cutest little girl ever (my granddaughter stole that title, sorry). Best pad thai I've ever had- I usually get chicken or shrimp. I also love Pad See Ew- wide noodles with chinese broccoli in a sweet brown sauce. My husband's favorite is the drunken noodle- I love the flavor, but the spice is too much for me. The pineapple fried rice is also amazing- chicken, shrimp, pineapple, and cashews. Tom kah gai is good, too. Heck, it's all good. Order fresh spring rolls, too. Just get there when they open if you want a seat for lunch. The restaurant is tiny. The wait is long, so don't go if you plan to get an attitude when your food takes a while. It is custom made for you, not prefab waiting to be reheated. Definitely worth the wait. read more

I really love their food. It's fresh and delicious and made with care. It's a eclectic environment which is unusual for Longview. I find it hugely appealing. My favorites are the panang curry and the pineapple fried rice. I really need to make myself try some other dishes, but the two I named are so great it's hard to veer off of them. read more

Located in downtown Longview, you can enjoy the history surrounding the area while you eat. Also, they do host monthly sidewalk shows that are very neat to attend! The green Thai curry is next level good. I haven't had Thai this authentic outside of Bangkok. This place is genuinely amazing.

i can't believe i haven't been to this adorable little spot before! the enthusiasm and energy of the people running the restaurant is so inviting and warm. be warned that their portions are huge! i came here for lunch and got the green curry stir fry. keep an eye out for their spice levels as well - not sure if they customize dishes to vary across the spice levels, it's definitely something i'll check out next time. i loved the value for money, but i thought the chicken lacked a little flavor. the vegetables and rice were fragrant and delicious though. also keep in mind that they are very conscious and lean as an establishment so it'll take a while for your food to be ready, but the patience will pay off! this place gets *packed* at lunch too, so time your arrival well or call ahead to pick up your order. read more

Loved this place after finding it on Yelp. Restaurant is very "cozy" so might not be the best choice for large groups. Also leave plenty of time for service--everything is made to order. We stopped by on a Friday evening and were able to find a table. The owners are very friendly and are able to suggest dishes. We were unsure as to selection, and they headed us in the right direction. The food is wonderfully fresh tasting, and portions are generous. We asked for a Level 1 heat, and it packed a punch. This is a first. As usual, when I'm traveling around the country I check with yelp for some advice as to where the local food hot spots are. The reviews for this tiny little restaurant were all excellent so I was completely taken aback with my dining experience. To start the menu was as limited as any Thai place I have ever visited. They didn't have any spring rolls so I ordered the chicken egg rolls. They didn't have those either so I settled on the beef egg rolls. They came to the table fried to a burnt imperfection served with some type of sauce that was identifiable and tasteless. The entree ( green curry stir fry ) was prepared correctly with fresh ingredients but was woefully under seasoned. I had to ask for some additional spice to get this dish going. The extra spice was the only reason that I gave it 1 stars (very good). Sadly, this Lil Thai House turned out to be a lil house of horrors. The journey continues!!! read more

Food is great!! But, the 3 year old running around, out of control, completely ruins the experience. I get that it's a family owned business, but some people work really hard and when they go out to dinner, it is to relax, have great food and enjoy the atmosphere. It's hard to do when their child is throwing things across the restaurant or literally sitting in a seat at your table. I would be willing to bet that if the owners were at Texas Roadhouse, they wouldn't like a complete strangers kid to come sit at their booth. I drove all the way from Center to try this food. I recently moved from Dallas to East Texas and couldn't control my craving any more. When I walked in they were packed,no place to sit, so I got my order to go. The cashier explained that on Wed they were down a man, so it took a little longer to get the food. Okay, no prob. I stood there an hour. Several people came in before me and got their food. I was not happy and swore as I walked out that this better be the best Thai I had or I would do without. I've been back 2-3 times since then. I've taken my Mom and my Aunt and they fell in love too. And the other times have been able to get a table and enjoy. This place is and awesome restaurant and has very fresh and good food. First let me say this isn't fast food so its made to order so be prepare to wait about ten or more minutes for your food, but believe me its good for the wait. Also if you haven't had Thai food it is spicy but not so much in that you can't eat it my solution is get a glass of Thai tea and a glass of water. There's also a variety of non spicy foods and as always you can ask for their recommendations and if they can adjust the spicy level. but for those adventitious and that has a cast iron stomach you can up the heat, thou the highest I ever seen someone eat was at level three and that guy was struggling to handle the heat. Decor of the place is pretty urban trendy with eastern decor form local artists that is available for purchase on some pieces. Herb spiced chicken and their drunken fried rice is very good and refreshing. The dining area is small, but intimate so do expect a wait to get a table or order ahead for take out. Prefect place to take a date or better yet choose to eat outside especially when its during the colder fall and winter months. Made my first visit here after reading many great reviews and I was not disappointed. I missed the heavy lunch rush and the service was prompt and friendly. I have eaten at many highly rated Thai restaurants in the major cities in Texas and other states and have never had better food in my opinion. do NOT go here. when i went here they told me to go find something to do and then come back in about 25 min. so i did that. THEN i came back and they hadn't even STARTED to cook the food. then they said come back in 45 more minutes. surprise surprise, 45 min goes by and i come back and they still hadn't even started to cook the food. that was one giant refund and a waste of time. also when i came in the second time i saw a lady dump a huge chunk of lard into the pan and im personally very into fitness and health so this whole place was just a giant NO. they were also goofing around and making the woman do EVERYTHING. may i repeat DO NOT GO HERE. very unhealthy and just a horrible restaurant. if you even call this scum bucket a restaurant. read more
