Went there to spend my birthday with a family member on a Friday night. Food was great, and customer service was on point. Got utilize my rewards at their order kiosk and received a free brownie for my birthday. Of course you have an option to choose your very own pastry for your special day. The music was at a volume where you can still hold a conversation with your plus one. This establishment is very enjoyable so much so that you can lose yourself in there and not even notice the time you are spending talking and eating. The only downside of this establishment is that it's located by two hotels and their parking is not sufficiently lighted. It does have enough parking for patrons. Very overpriced for one. People were very friendly except for the back people because I don't think they knew what they were talking about my grandson and I we ordered a soup they should have been the same size we got one small bowl and one big bowl same price but I only got one of each. I get no baguettes. So I asked the lady where's the bag at doesn't just come with the baguette well we're all of them well why don't you tell me your all of them. And then she says I said well aren't we supposed to get a substitute if you're out like a bag of chips or an apple or we don't do that I said well the one in California does I said I used to work at it so I know. Went here because we were passing through and staying at the Holiday Inn Express. My wife and I were looking at the menu behind the counter and noticed an excessive amount of flies. My wife noticed that flies were doing the mamba all over the pastries and bread behind the counter....we immediately left but I felt I should at least let the servers know why we left. When I told the server he told me ok and would look into it. This is why Panera Bread could care less what they serve customers. This is my second terrible experience with this company in different states and I am sure they could do better if they wanted to. read more

Most overpriced food I've ever eaten in my life. $21 for a half sandwich, a cup of potato soup, a large drink and a chocolate chip cookie. The Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich was decent, but the soup was mid. I could make potato soup at home that would torch this. The bread they give you for the soup was hard as a rock. You could even swing it as a baseball bat and score a home run for the Texas Rangers. I will give them that the staff was relatively friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Amazing food and service, thanks for a great meal! The Fuji apple chicken salad and any of the chicken avocado sandwiches are a must (breakfast or lunch). I can't get enough of this place, the atmosphere feels very homey and comfortable, many places to sit and work if you have to. The facilities are always spotless and there are plenty of drinks to choose from. If I could give this restaurant 6-7 stars I would, it is OFF THE CHARTS - and STELLAR. I like their value duets and go there often. I feel like it's a healthy option compared to fast food burger places, so I really appreciate them on the menu. Most all of their items on the menu are good. The entrance is beautiful with pretty flowers and ornamental plants, and I think it is nice for them to care so much for outside appearances. The thing I don't like is that the ice machine needs a good cleaning. It has black algae accumulating on the surface and some places need a good dusting. The bathroom has a bit of a stuffy smell that could easily be corrected. They have always had an 'A' on their inspection so maybe I am just too picky in that area. Their bakery items are too expensive. They really need to adjust the prices. I don't particularly like to tip when I order, but that seems to be how most places are going now. We waited 20 minutes for our food.. after 15 minutes my son went and asked them about our order, they said "they lost it." So then when we got it it was not accurate. It was supposed to be packed togo, my son's was but mine was not. When i mentioned it to the girl that brought it out for us, i just asked her to bring me a togo bowl and she never came back with one. They were out of the baguette bread and had offered us other items to replace it, we did not get what we requested, we got a sine slice of wheat bread. I have not been to a Panera in a long time. I came in with my grandmother, and we had questions about the menu and pricing. After a few questions about how the pick two works it was not explained well to us. We asked for a return for one item right at the register before the food was made because of this lack of expectation setting. The wrong order came out, I told the man who brought it, he went and spoke to someone and then came and grabbed the item off my plate and walked away. I had already told the manager at the register about the ordering issue and I asked to talk to her about the order as well. She interrupted me as I was trying to explain what happened and my concerns. She was defensive and rude. Her resolution was "well the general manager is here to you want to talk to her?" The general manager was also unable to listen and interrupted me. She made assumptions about what I was trying to say. There is some tension and strife in this restaurant and it was not at all a warm place. I will add I lost my voice and could only talk above a whisper. I don't get to see my 92 year old grandmother very often and this restaurant left me with a sour perspective of this chain. You never know what someone is going through and hey we're not kind at all : we had just pre planned her funeral, and complete end of life paperwork. Food is always average. We usually go often for breakfast because it's cheap. This morning we got a bagel, and muffin. Ordered the bagel sliced and toasted. The bagel was the opposite of that. Wouldn't be a huge deal if we weren't having to do open heart surgery on the bagel in my car. I'm guessing they don't cover crumbs in the floorboard lol.
