It was a bit disappointing that they had ran out of wings from the previous wing night though - how can you have the best wings but not be stocked all the time? :( We ended up with the taquitos instead, my fiance got the cajun sandwich per our waitress's recommendation (flavorful and juicy) and I got the chicken piccata with linguine (good and dandy). With how many raved about the wings, I still want to come back and try them, and hopefully they'll have them in stock. We wanted to try someplace new and live in southern Maine, so we took a quick half our drive across the line and saw this place on yelp. We don't drink, so we got cokes and started with the Reuben egg rolls. They were good, but may be better with they had like a crispy won tonnie texture to them. Then we each had a steak and my partner also got chicken. The food was cooked the opposite of what we'd asked, so we figured they must have just switched them up by mistake. No problem, things were still delicious and fine. The waitress was delightful, efficient and quick, we thought about dessert but settled on heading out. Over all, cute place, had live music and an upstairs section. The service was good and the prices on par with the rest of the dining out world. We went for breakfast on a Sunday. There was a musician on guitar and vocals in the dining room. He was fine but beyond loud for the space. We asked to be moved and were accommodated. The food took about 50 minutes and was not good. Scrambled eggs overdone and not good and over easy eggs burnt in some parts and underdone in others. Pancakes were not tasty. Our server was nice, but overall not pleasant morning out for brunch. read more

Well... this was a first. We left without eating, we took it home, and left no tip. That's how bad the experience was. Started off normal as we was seated relatively quickly and we waited for a few for the waitress as they were busy. She took our drink order, margarita and a draft beer, which came back promptly. We ordered at that time. A turkey club with fries and a cheeseburger with Swiss only mayo and tomato with onion rings as well as an appetizer of potato skins. As we ordered a family of 4 was sat behind and our waitress immediately went to their table and took drinks. As we waited for our appetizer we was seeing food moving quickly out of the kitchen. It took 20 minutes for the appetizer to show which was warm at best. After those arrived we overheard a waitress tell another that we need to close the kitchen. That concerned us a little however we've already placed our order. At the one hour mark and after the another round of drinks the waitress told us our food was to be out shortly. We had concerns at this point that our meals were to be correct and hot. It's now been 1 hour and 20 minutes and the family of 4 gets their food before ours. We was immediately upset and expected our food to be hot at minimum. Then our food came out and not even close. My burger was without Swiss and with fries. The turkey club was haphazardly put together and the bread not toasted with warm fries. When the waitress came to check she said she'd bring mayo but we'd had enough and asked for boxes. An hour and half for cold food wasn't worth setting their anymore. The burger was taken off because they left the rings off. I made sure that I left a note on the bill for the manager which was nonexistent that I wasn't going to be back. It read "1.5 hours for cold food and won't be back. Had a great experience last time." Had to go up the road and get fast food because we was still hungry for hot and correct food. read more

Tuesday was our first time back here since COVID-19 caused everything to shut down 2+ months ago. We arrived an hour and 15 minutes before trivia started and were told that there would be a 25-30 minute wait, no big deal, unfortunately the "short" wait turned into a much longer wait, we were seated just as trivia was starting. I applaud the effort that LCG and team put into making an outdoor dining experience so that during this difficult time for everyone, we could still enjoy ourselves. My only complaint is that the entire area smelled of dumpster, which made it EXTREMELY hard to enjoy our dinner. The ground was covered with spilled food and ice cream, the dumpster was directly on the backside of the fence where we were seated at. Understandably they made due with what they had, an alley way, I get it, but it was a little disappointing. I can't wait to get back inside! read more

The worst breakfast I ever had. My breakfast sandwich was very greasy and was not cooked the way I wanted it. My decaf coffee tasted like it was sitting at the bottom of the pot all morning. The corned beef hash tasted burnt and was all potatoes and not much meat. The waitress did her best to rectify the situation, but it was too late as my husband was done eating by the time they brought out my corrected meal. I won't be returning. read more

The outside is very unassuming. When we entered, I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. It was a lot bigger than it appeared outside, and very cozy at the same time. I liked the slightly more dim lights, and the place was full. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. She made suggestions on the menu, which my daughter ended up ordering her suggestion of Buffalo Mac N' Cheese. My son ordered a plain burger with oranges (he doesn't like potatoes, not even sure he's my kid haha), my youngest ordered chicken fingers and fries which came on a lunch tray, she thought that was amazing. My older daughter orderd the mac n' cheese was was good, and a huge portion size. She only ate half and was full even eating half. My husband ordered the ribeye. He wasn't as happy with it, it came slightly undercooked, and he thought it lacked flavor. He refuses to send anything back, I would have sent it back to be cooked more. I got the bleu steak tips which were really good. They came on a bed of spinach, with bleu cheese dressing and balsamic vinegar. I was in a happy place eating my dinner. I'm sure we'll be back, my only complaints was the time to get our food took awhile, it was a little cramped where we sat with our party of 5, and my husband's steak was rare and he had asked for medium rare. read more

On a drive of exploration we realized we were very hungry so we pulled up here and hoped for the best. Ah Joy of joys, we found the right spot. Not much from the outside but the menu by the door was intriguing. A pub like atmosphere, the sort you could nurse a beer while chatting for hours with friends, greeted us. So did some very friendly staff and we were seated in comfortable chairs in a nicely decorated room that kept that same pub feel. I don't mean sports bar pub, or those pubs that want to feel Irish or British; I mean the same comfortable feeling you get in a true pub in Britain or Ireland; warm and welcoming. The food was terrific. Macaroni and cheese for my wife, that was obviously homemade and so delicious. I had a burger, and it was nicely done and tasty. My only disappointment is when I looked at my GPS and it was so far from home, we'll have to plan a trip back and explore the town a bit ... and have another meal of course read more

I only went here one time, but that was enough for me to make the decision to probably not go back. The food was pretty good and the service was good too, but the restaurant itself seemed to be very old and dirty. It was very dimly lit probably to hide how dirty the place was. The ceiling looked dusty, and the floors looked like they haven't been properly cleaned in quite some time. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Jambalaya was overcooked the rice was like grinding sand, we didn't even know who the actual waiter was because we had 3 different people at our table, never asked how anything was. I would like to have given 4 stars, but this was really just an average restaurant with average food and service. Nothing to really complain about, but nothing glowing either. The restaurant itself has a rundown kind of feel to it, but not in a good retro kind of way. It just felt tired. Our waitress was quite good, although when I asked about the special, she had no idea what it even looked like. I had kind of wanted to try the special, but I has to pass when the waitress couldn't answer, "Do you eat it with a knife and fork, or is it pick-up food?" Our food was good. I ended up with an open-face fish sandwich that I enjoyed, although my green beans were really undercooked. My spouse liked her Reuben. In the end it was fine. Sure investigate the claims of poor service or food to see if they are valid which I would be very surprised at. My family has going there since you opened about 2012 ish we love it the food is outstanding and as a former bartender I am very critical on staff- you have the pick of the litter they are great! I don't get it, so many people like this place. I don't trash talk other businesses because I understand that typically speaking they are trying very hard and sometimes you can just have a bad experience. However, with this place I have had NO luck. I have been there several times and the food is alway, meh. To be honest, not good at all. A long time ago when they were at their first location the food was incredible! I took a few people there and was very impressed with the quality. Right before they moved to where the 103 was which is where they are now the food went down hill, very down hill. I have friends and family who still go there and swear by their food but I have yet to have once decent meal. I'm either hitting them up on their worst days or something else is going on. I got the mussels and 3 were dead. They were cooking in wine but there were some small pieces of tomato floating in it. On the edge were pieces of toast. I had experienced the food from LCG at an event they catered and it was really good. I wanted to head to the restaurant and check it out, first hand, as I was impressed. So I took my son on Sunday mid afternoon to grab lunch. We came in and they had live music playing that was not too loud but very acoustic sounding which was pleasant. We received a brunch and lunch menu, as brunch is served until 2pm... so there's LOTS of options! I had the waitress pick a beer for me, as she told me they had two IPAs and I've never tried either of them. So Jess brought me a Boom Sauce IPA which was delicious! Not too heavy but a nice bodied IPA. We ordered lunch, laughed and enjoyed our mom & son date without a pushy waitress, yet she was super attentive and friendly! Loved her vibe!!! Food was great and the ambiance is different! Great hidden gem that if you didn't know you were looking for it, you'd miss it!!!!
