Palmetto Park Rd., Bay 23 in Boca Raton, within the Publix shopping plaza at the intersection of Palmetto and Powerline. I brought in a designer handbag for zipper repair. When I retrieved the item, the strap had been scratched and ripped, and the underside of the handbag was significantly damaged. There was visible hot glue residue and multiple scratches all over the leather. The bag had been in excellent condition prior to the repair, and the result was unacceptable. When I raised concerns about the condition of the item and the appropriateness of payment, I was met with unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. The shoemaker and an individual who appeared to be his spouse made disparaging and anti-Semitic remarks, including comments about "Jewish Boca women" being superficial for purchasing designer goods. Incidentally, they have no idea what my religion is, as I do not know them personally beyond being their customer. I am sharing this experience not only to warn others about the poor quality of workmanship, but also to highlight the deeply troubling conduct and values demonstrated by the individuals running this business. Their willingness to damage a customer's property, refuse accountability, and then resort to offensive, anti-Semitic remarks reflects a complete lack of professionalism, integrity, and basic respect. So I stopped into Boca Cove Shoe to see if they could glue it better. When I stopped in the other day I was somewhat surprised that it was busy. The counter was full of mostly fancy girl shoes for repair. The nice lady with a bit of sass at the counter offered a better idea. "You know we could just sew them on and it would be much better". I had tried that at a dry cleaners but the said they couldn't do it. Well I said heck yeah. Cut to about a week or so later and I popped in. I was beyond happy. The bag looked so sharp, so professional that I was on cloud nine. We are going to 2 more parks this year, so it looks like I will be back very soon.

Stay far away from this place…read more My daughter was sent here by the dress shop where we bought her prom dress, and that was the first mistake. They completely took advantage of a 17 year old kid who was excited about her dress and trusted them. They talked her into a bunch of alterations and charged $450. What did we get for that? They butchered the dress. They cut way too much off the back straps so it no longer ties the way it was designed, and they removed the original manufacturer zipper to lower the back. When she got home, the bow couldn't even be done anymore and the "new" zipper they installed was already broken. We brought it back, and instead of owning it, they flat out denied touching the zipper, even though it was obviously replaced. Then they had the nerve to charge another $95 to "fix" it. At that point the original dress shop had to step in and call them out. Only then did they put the original zipper back in and still charged the full $450, didn't even complete the work they promised, and added another $65 charge for a "repair" they claimed they never did in the first place. So let's be clear: they overcharged, damaged the dress, lied about it, and then charged even more to cover their own mistakes. This isn't just bad service, it's dishonest, predatory behavior. They saw a young girl excited for prom and treated her like an easy target. Crooks. Liars. No accountability. Do not use them.
