When I got called to the register, my grandbaby had a candy bar that still needed to be scanned. She was getting fussy, so I gave it to her to help calm her down. I simply asked the cashier if she had a handheld scanner so the candy could be scanned while my grandbaby was holding it. Instead of just answering yes or no, she replied with attitude and said, "The world ain't going to treat her like you do, and she ain't going to die if you take the candy from her." Then after I finally took the candy from my fussy grandbaby, she picked up the handheld scanner attached to the register anyway. The whole interaction was rude and unnecessary. I didn't ask for parenting advice -- I asked a simple question that only required a yes or no answer. Sometimes people need to learn how to stay in their lane. Judge and raise your own children, not mine.

Great selection, but there is seldom a quick check out. Usually take longer to check out than to shop. Quality clothing at an exceptionally low price. Shop late and the store should not be as crowded. The cashier I went to had an attitude and was walking around the store loudly yelling about a customer looking at an item. Well once I reached the front she decided to hop in to help the solo cashier and kept stating "I'm ready to go" as she's checking people out. I sat my bag on the counter and she tells me, "I said I'm not doing a return so you'll be back in the morning." I looked at her puzzled and didn't want to press the issue so I kindly told her I no longer wanted the two items to buy. It's disrespectful to handle customers in these sorts of manner and I am definitely going to be reaching out to speak with either a manager or corporate in regards to how this employee handles people supporting Ross. This encounter has now made me look upon what once was my FAVORITE place to shop (everyone who knows me knows I love Ross), to a place where i may not even go to shop again. Deal breaker was that the store was still open and operating and she decided to block off the line with carts and make announcements pressuring people to get in line or registers would be shut down at 9:30pm when the store closed at 10 and I'd been in line since 9:35 until 9:48. I will be returning these items and I probably won't go back t Ross, or at least this location. I'd rather drive to Woodstock and shop at the outlets than to give my hard earned, money to the hands of such rude people. Value of Ross just dropped in my book. They are limiting the number of customers that can come in. They are also sanitizing the carts before they give you one. They have marks near the cash registers indicating how far apart people should stand in line. The cashiers spray down their area after each customer. I was impressed at how focused they are on ensuring I have a safe shopping experience. The employees were friendly and helpful. The shelves are not fully stocked yet but they were busy putting up new things while I was there. This was the third TJMaxx/Marshall's I went to today and I was super excited to find the hand soap that I needed and haven't been able to find anywhere else. It's something that I always bought at Marshall's in the past but have been unable to find for months. It seems like they are starting to get in new stock. Things are looking up. I think they did a great job.

I went to this location yesterday. But it didn't matter what line you made your purchases in since the line leading to the parking lot or the Mall were extremely long. I stood in the line leading to Mall which only had 2 cashiers. After a customer complained to a manger, she decided to work as a cashier but was only taking cards. I also notice a cashier let a group of people cut the line which felt like a slap in the face to those of us in line for over an hour! Unsure what is going on with this store but staffing needs some serious work. It obvious, if these reviews are being read someone doesn't care about their customers. I think I will avoid this store moving forward.
