Ya know. the only reason I went here was because it's close to my house and he almost has my last…read morename, just spelled a little different. So back in 2003, I was working at Muckleshoot Casino at the time and I had Bomb insurance. I mean fully paid, full coverage. It was towards the end of the year and I was planning on getting another job but I wanted to burn up my insurance money. More importantly, I had a cavity in my upper right wisdom tooth so I went to check this place out. I get there, and the lady hands me a clip board to fill out. I do this and it's all normal except for one check mark. "Do you want to keep your removed teeth?" Yes- CHECK! Ok so I checked that one. Anyways, we make another appointment to get a cleaning and inspection. That went well. Then I went in the next week for the removal. I had a young Asian female surgeon pull out my tooth. She was super nice but it seemed like she was having a hard time strength wise pulling it out. I realize that half of it was gone but it kinda scared me to see her struggle. Like it was gonna break or pop out and she'd go flying back about 8 feet. Luckily I was juiced up with Nitrous real good. THANKS for that. Everything went well except THEY DIDN"T KEEP MY TOOTH. They threw it in a bucket with about 1000 other teeth. FUck, i'm not about to rummage through that shit. Why have a check box on the questionaire that says "DO YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR REMOVED TEETH?" if you aren't going to do it? Anyways, I totally blame the receptionist for this. Maybe the doctor didn't read it, but I don't even think she was given the info to keep my tooth. I got a serious "I'm getting Fat commission from you!" vibe from the receptionist anyways. Very creepy. They tried to get me to remove all the rest of my 3 remaining wisdom teeth. I'm not sure why since my teeth are naturally straight and are not bound up or too close. The way the receptionist was so intent on scheduling me in to do that it seemed like it was a money / business opportunity for them since my insurance covered everything 100% sans my co-pay. I just really felt like I was at a high pressure used car dealership. I never even seen this Otto J. Hanssen guy, it seems he just owns the office and other dentists use the facilities / customers and he gets a cut. I hope others have more positive experiences but I have to give 2 stars since "Meh, I've experienced better" Next Dentist please. I'm yelping this time! ~TZ

My only issues is rest of staff need a more gasp of understanding toward people with a disability! few of ladies in front desk need learn that and address it , As well the policy on ADA that need to be addressed. policy need to in written about the charges of rescheduling $150.00 for something that was imposed on a issued that didn't understand in my case. I never been so upset and angry about these young ladies face expressions little laughing, smirk smiles THEY didn't have once of compassion or show it how treat a person with an disability . just questions of how I going to pay for rescheduling fee! other then that , Dr.Molen was great and i would recommend him...

I'm not sure how the office can come up with a price for an implant without seeing the patient, but…read morethey did! When I questioned how they did (more than $1,000 more than another local oral surgeon), they coudn't/wouldn't share the methodology because there was none! It was by my history only. When I inquired about having a pre-auth done by my dental insurance, I was told that I would go directly into surgery after the consult so there was no need for the pre-auth. I said that per what I had been told by my insurance, as contracted provider, they were obligated to send a pre-auth. So now my "consult" is 8 weeks out. Shelved in other words, by the office staff. Who polices oral surgeons? Someone needs to! Seems a bit sketchy to me to come up with a price without even seeing the patient and also to push them into procedure after consult - no insurance consulting needed. This office just wants to take your money!

What an amazing dental office! My wife and I just recently found this office and we're SO happy we…read moredid. The entire staff is absolutely fantastic. The warm smiles and friendly greetings of the front desk are second to none. They really strive to know the patients and make everyone feel relaxed and welcomed. Unlike many offices, they tend to be on time and minimize wait times which I really appreciate! The Hygenists and Asssistants are absolutely top notch. So far, the Dentists themselves are THE BEST we've encountered! I really admire the calm demeanor and the respectful way that they interact with the patients and staff. I've been very impressed with the dentists skills and efficiency. From the numbing shots to the procedures themselves, patient comfort is their highest priority. The facilities are very modern and well maintained with technology to improve every aspect of the experience. I also appreciate that they provide a full range of services in-house including implants! We've found our new home for dental care and couldn't be happier! Highly recommended.

I came in for what should have been a straightforward tooth extraction, but the final cost was far higher than anything that had been discussed or implied beforehand. There was no clear explanation of the charges, and I only learned the true amount after the procedure was already done. As someone trying to balance school, bills, and basic necessities, this felt incredibly discouraging. Based on my experience, it seemed like the office prioritized collecting money over being transparent or caring about the patient's situation. The lack of upfront communication made me feel taken advantage of during a time when I was already vulnerable and in pain. I hope the clinic takes steps to improve honesty and transparency with future patients so no one else walks away feeling the way I did.
