Our group of 3 had corn beef hash, salad with chicken, pancakes, eggs and bacon. The pancakes were described as "the best restaurant pancakes I've ever had" We walked in about 30 minutes before they were closing (1:30pm closing time) but were welcomed warmly and our waitress was attentive and chipper without hovering. And even with iced tea and a soda, the total was $33. If we're ever this way again we'll definitely come back.

Everything from the attitude greeting at the door to paying the incorrect tab amount. It was awful. It took us a minute to find parking and finally found a spot up the street. We walked in and immediately the lady said how many people, we said 4 and she then said 'Well we have a limited menu today. You can get a breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich or biscuits and gravy'. All of us were fine with that and said that is okay, then she looked around the room and said 'Well it is going to be a while' and then walked away. Not even a hi when we walked in the door, just straight to trying to drive us away. I went to the restroom and as I came out a table of 5 people that all had biscuits and gravy was being sent back the kitchen. That didn't look good since that is what I wanted. I heard the server ask the cook if he could heat them all up. I guess they were all cold. I could deal with that. We stood around waiting for about 15-20 minutes and the I walked over to their tiny casino area and threw in $5 to waste some time. Finally the same rude chic said to us that she had 2 high top 2 seat tables if we wanted to split. We were tired of waiting so we took them. Then we waited and waited. We watched several people come in and wait to be greeted and never spoken to, so they leave disgruntled. We waited maybe another 15-20 minutes watching other tables wait for their food and even their drinks to come. We finally got asked what we wanted to drink. We got iced tea each and ordered our limited menu breakfast. And then we waited FOREVER. The table next to us finally got their food in 2 waves with about 5-10 minutes apart. The server said the cook cannot make the gravy fsst enough. Honestly, they shouldn't have the biscuits and gravy on the menu if it takes that long. And why couldn't they have a basic breakfast, eggs, hash brown ham or sausage and toast. This was literally the items on the sandwich or the burrito. Would have made things easier for the cook. Our food finally arrived. My husbands breakfast sandwich looked amazing and it was steaming hot. My biscuits and gravy were good.... at first. One biscuit was light and fluffy but when I got to the second biscuit it was completely burned on the bottom. I couldn't even cut it. I gave up. The server gave us our tab and charged up for an omelet and hash browns for $13. They didn't even have omelets available! Then when my husband questioned the bill and the server started arguing with him. How are you going to charge us for something you don't even offer? It was ridiculous. Overall we were there for almost 2 hours which cut in to our drive time to come back to Denver. Thanks, but I won't ever be back.

We ordered takeout from this restaurant and so I cannot speak to the dining experience. We arrived around brunch time, and it was around then that people slowly began to trickle in on the weekend. Of note, this was the only restaurant that comes up when you search "restaurants" on google maps in Cheyenne Crossing in the Black Hills in case anyone has trouble finding it on google maps. In addition, there is no service here by the way. The restaurant is attached to the gift shop, and there is a small gas station right outside as well. We just ordered their Indian Taco, which is basically a huge piece of thick frybread with various nacho toppings such as ground beef, sour cream, tomato, lettuce, cheese, and salsa. While it costs about $15, the size of this Indian Taco can feed you at least 2-3 meals, depending on how hungry you are. The takeout was quick to come out, and while we waited, we enjoyed some of the table games (nail balancing game, marble game, etc).

Mind you we had an Indian Taco at Four Corners at a run down wooden shack and an Indian lady prepared it. It was 5 stars. The food here was watered down chili and was not warm. The food was not very pleasing to eat. The fried bread under the taco dressing was okay, nothing like we had at Four Corners location. The restaurant/store had an "off putting" odor. I would pass it up if you are ever in SD. Ambiance reminds me of a mom and pop dinner in the southeast. The restaurant was packed.
