I believe this place is overrated. Fairly coffee drinks and ice cream is okay. It tasted like the one I bought at the groceries. Nothing unique or special. They didn't even have dark chocolate ice cream. It also just lacks much of an atmosphere. Pricey too! No sitting except for one small table and a two chairs. read more

We were looking for a snack/treat to have before a tour we were going to go on and prior to dinner. It was a hot day in Deadwood, so ice cream sounded good. I didn't have high expectations for this place, mostly due to the tourist trap town it is in the summer, but I for sure was not blown away. My husband got a shake - which he didn't pick the best ice cream for, and I had the affogato. I thought that it would be decent coffee, but the coffee was so acidic mixed with mediocre ice cream that I could not finish. Service was excellent and the place was clean. I really appreciate that all the employees were so friendly and helpful despite the long line. read more

I was here twice during my stay in Deadwood. In the evening I went in for an ice cream and it was pretty outstanding, well, most ice cream is, by nature, great, so...Anyway the serving size was good and the price is right. The folks working, maybe the husband and wife owner (?) and the other employees were as nice as could be expected when they are trying to close up shop on an evening during the busiest weekend of the year. I was excited to go the next morning for my coffee (a latte) but was sadly disappointed in the quality... not good. It's a cute shop with an antique bar and lots of souvenirs. Go for the souvenirs if you must, and definitely go for the ice cream, but go elsewhere for your coffee. read more

Came here on Memorial Day May 28, 2018. Ordered ice cream from this stain wipe of a girl. She had such a b*tchy attitude! I was in line and the girl taking orders looked at the guy behind me looking like she was ready to overlook me and take his order instead, but I maintained eye contact with her until she finally looked and asked me with a sigh, "What do you want?" in a tone that made it seem like she would rather not be bothered to offer me service. Me: I'd like two chocolate dipped cones with almonds. Her: And? (again in a 'I don't want to be bothered' tone) Me: With Mint chocolate ice cream. Her: And? Me: Bourbon Pecan ice cream Her: Is that all? After signing the receipt to pay for my order with my credit card, she just took it without saying a word, not even a 'thank you.' The whole process was an unwelcome service from this girl. I was ready to tell her off but why waste my vacation energy. Typing it requires less work, and this review lasts longer. Good drink, but stopped in here because of Yelp saying they have free wi-fi because I needed it to get some things done for work. Nope. They don't have wi-fi. Nor do they have indoor seating anyway, so it probably wouldn't have worked. But decent frap. read more

Stopped in here after trying the 5 minute pizza place just up the street. My lovely wife wanted a coffee and some ice cream and this place seems perfect for those. Good ice cream and inexpensive. Walked in and right back out. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason to the lines (ice cream vs coffee) and no one in line seemed to know either. I thought there was one big line but then it looked like there might be two and they were merging? I asked the guy in front of me if he was in line for coffee and he said he was in line to pay. So I assumed he had ordered. Nope, he hadn't ordered yet. Giving 3 stars so I won't mess up their average since I didn't actually buy anything but it seemed like it was too much chaos to be worth it. Kind and friendly service. The workers are teenagers and doing a great job despite some grumpy customers. They were friendly and patient with my kids as they ordered. Ice coffee hit the spot for my husband and I on a hot afternoon. read more

We stopped in for breakfast at 1am. The cook was racist and absolutely inappropriate, dropping the F bomb and calling my fiancé's outfit "gay". The biscuits were burned, there was no customer service, and this place should be embarrassed. read more

Fantastic coffee shop! We had coffee from here every morning of our five day visit to Deadwood. The coffee is delicious and the service is top notch. The young lady who manages the shop is incredibly attentive and professional and the woman who does the baking makes delicious pastries. Stop in here and grab a coffee and snack when in the area. They give large portions of ice cream. A nice selection of cones to choose from but not a lot of ice cream flavors. Opt for the dish instead. Ended up having to toss ours out. It tasted good but we couldn't finish it. read more

Great flavors of hand scooped ice cream! Had the bear creek caramel and cookie dough. Huge cone, had to put it in a bowl to not spill!

This has amazing coffee. Forget Dunkin' Donuts you can come here and get amazing coffee for a great price. Iced coffee and a no sugar iced mocha latte was purchased and both were fantastic at a great price I highly recommend going here for your coffee in the morning. The service was also fast. read more
