Fun, friendly bartender. Great food, and old west ambiance. Brewhouse, bakery and small specialty grocery store. Excellent Smoked Old Fashion. I had a Pork Ribeye which was so tender it was almost like cutting butter. My two friends said their entrees were excellent as well.

Nestled in the historical Deadwood is Jacob's Brewhouse. If you're in the mood for great food and a fantastic selection of beer, this is your jam. Our service was great. The food was really good. We had fish and chips, bison burger and a pastrami burger. Messy is good, real good. The beer we tried was the Irish ale and raspberry ale. Both were very good. Parking in the rear can be a little confusing. The machines screens are terrible. Not the establishments fault. Our server was so helpful and showed me the app to get to pay for parking. Much easier than trying to use those machines. Also it doesn't matter if you choose miller lot 1 or 2.

Food, service and ambience are all amazing. We love this place. We eat here several times when we visit Deadwood for bike week.

I definitely recommend this place!! 10/10! Delicious food, I ate everything bite of this salad. We got sat right away on a Saturday night with no reservation. ( we tried several completely booked restaurants) Jacobs were open late and were very attentive to us. Food came out fast and it was the perfect place to fix my hangry mood lol

Awesome food!! We did the "Iron chef" meal. Great food and a fun activity. The owner was super nice and spoke to us also.

We had a good meal with good service. I had the pasta carbonara. The beer selection is good too. They also have a nice outdoor space.

We came in during a busy weekend and were seated right away. The chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly and the nachos were presented so well. Overall a decent meal.

Big fan of this little brewhouse! The cute, musical decor has you wanting to walk around and look at everything like you're in an old school Hard Rock Cafe, but also homey. There is a patio area, weather permitting. Lots of drink options. We started with a round of waters and mimosas... the mimosas went down quick so we all were back at the menu figuring out what was next! I went with the Huckleberry Mule (I mean how can you not go with the huckleberry option when you're in this part of the country?!) -- it was deliciously refreshing! We started with the chislic, which is always a staple in South Dakota. A little different than the typical OG flash fried version. Didn't seem fried in any sense and had blue cheese mixed in with it, along with a side of some kind of dill dipping sauce that was delicious. Great flavor and a nice upscale spin on a local favorite. For the main course I went with the Walleye! Where I'm from you can't get it so I was pumped it was on the menu. It's a white flakey fish that was fried to perfection with great flavor! The fries it comes with were decent, nothing to write home about, but might as well add it to the letter because you'll be writing for days after eating the walleye. In addition, we got the kids homemade Mac & Cheese (I can never pass Mac & Cheese up if it's homemade)! It was creamy and spot on with a taste of an array of cheeses that nicely melt together to appease your tastebuds! The waitress was super nice, the service was quick and the atmosphere was enjoyable! Highly recommend if you're in deadwood, definitely one of the best restaurants in the town!

I have nothing but great things to say about this brewery! We came in with a party of 13 and no…read morereservations. A party this large could be something that frazzled the staff but not the crew at Sawyer, they were so nice! It was our first time here so we were curious about the diffrent beers. They let us try as many as we liked and they were all delicious. They had a peach sour that was fantastic. They also have a ton of delicious ipa's and a few different non alcoholic drinks. I was shook with a party so large how fast they got all of our food. I really appreciate that I can't do dairy so I asked if I could have the cheese for the nachos on the side. They did this but to my disappointment it was basically just chips and meat. Not their fault since I modified it. What I really appreciated though was I asked since there's no cheese could you bring me some salsa for it. They lovingly did this, and a big bowl too!l What excellent customer service. The vibe there is super cool and plenty of seating both inside and out! I would 100% recommend this brewery!!!

Popular place with a wide variety of choices for dinner--friendly and attentive service (if you…read moredon't see your server, ask another--they clearly work well as a team) and interesting decor. Starter and food, drinks, etc., are brought promptly to the table. This is exceptional in a highly popular tourist area. The food is good but could use a little improvement--the grilled mahi-mahi was good, but a little on the dry sauce and definitely needed a sauce. A couple of the dishes did have sauces, but fish is why most Creole restaurants like Brennan's will serve a sauce on the side, or a topping with butter such as Trout Almandine. It doesn't have to be a fancy sauce--the option of good ol' tartar sauce works. The grilled vegetables also needed a little more butter and seasoning. Carrots are good on their own; broccoli and cauliflower need a little cheese or butter and some seasoning to be loved. The IPA (Long John) was excellent. The beer cheese dip and soft pretzels were to die for; the chardonnay was passable. A great choice for dining in a VERY heavily traveled tourist destination. Get there early--it starts filling up fast and all the restaurants around Mount Rushmore close at 9.

Stopped to enjoy a drink and appetizer at what appeared to be a cool brewery concept. We decided to…read moresit indoors since it was a rather warm day. Mistake! They have their doors wide open and it was nearly as hot indoors. And the flies were annoying. I enjoyed the Long Tom IPA but not enough to order another. Apps were pretty limited, so we opted for a pretzel with beer cheese. The cheese was great, pretzel was large but it was also dry and not very enjoyable. When I first walked in I looked at their merch and was very disappointed with their hats. Plenty of shirts and a very cool metal sign of their logo. Service was fine. We intended to eat dinner at one of their restaurants but after reviewing the menu and reviews, decided to head somewhere else as this place was a bit of a disappointment. And didn't want to further amplify the experience.
