For years I have always taken my mother to Twin Lakes Country Club for their Friday fish fry. I wanted to try some place different and man was that a great decision. We've been driving by this place for years and finally tried this hidden gem. So glad we did! The owner Jill waited on us. She was very engaging, fun and down to earth. We ordered what she recommended. Everything was delicious! The grouper sandwich was the best we'd ever had. Burgers were great quality and juicy. Try the homemade potato chips. Yum. Much of the food is homemade including the soups and desserts! We sat on the back deck overlooking Lilly lake. It was so enjoyable. 2 days ago on  Google We came with a party of 15 people to celebrate a birthday. 6 of which were small children. The nine adults all ordered food and drinks and we brought juice and snacks with us for the kids. We sat outside on the picnic tables and were letting all the kiddos swim in the lake.. We were told we had to leave and couldn't have any food not purchased from the establishment, including the Birthday cake we brought. Jill at the bar was extremely rude and even called one lady in our party a b*tch. We would've spent several hundred dollars there with the nine that were dining and ordering bar drinks, however we canceled our orders and left. We will not return. Several that came with us are regulars there as well, but we were still treated this way. read more

Great drinks. Great burgers and appetizers. Never had bad food there in 5 visits. Prices mid range. Great live music. Overall pretty good. Have to order at bar. Sometimes it takes awhile to pay and you have to watch for your food to come up or no one brings it to you. Keep that in mind if you go. Parking is convenient. Beach is nice in summer. Tried this place with some friends and really enjoyed it! I had the coconut shrimp with potato pancakes. The shrimp were really big, seasoned really well and the potato pancakes were amazing! They give you a sour cream sauce with them and it paired PERFECTLY! I was pleasantly surprised that this bar food was so delicious! My friends had the fish fry and they liked it as well although I wasnt a fan of the miracle whip tasting tartar sauce. Also had a mai tai and it was made really well. Server was super busy (friday night) but I loved how she remembered your name and addressed you using it in every interaction. Sometimes its the small things that impress people. Great place to just chill and crash after a riding day(s) and to get some Lake life added to the trip. Great bar and service. Enjoyed a nice Bon fire before calling it in for the night. Only issue during this trip was the water heater broke but that happens. It's a 10 room motel, so don't have the luxury of moving you to another room. This place rocks for fish fry! The Fried cod is super good with huge pieces. Their homemade potato pancakes were delicious! We had a party of 10 and Toni was so accommodating setting us up on the patio with our call ahead of time. The kids played on the swings, bumped around some volleyball, or could swim and enjoy the beach. Kelly was our server and absolutely rocked never missing a beat. She was friendly and our requests were never too much for her. She even scrubbed down the high chair for the baby. The sunset was gorgeous! Love love love this place! Perfect place for a Sunday funday, with or without the kids. They have a full bar and food menu plus a nice patio out back. Volleyball, horseshoes, bags, the works! And my favorite part, awesome view of the lake and a private sandy beach you can relax and swim the day away! It's not a mucky bottom beach either, which I can not stand. Staff is friendly, drinks are cold, and the atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. If your looking for a county club feel, keep driving. This is not that place. Came in with a party of 12 people (in which we had reserved in advance for) with 4 separate checks (also made sure to inform the waitress before ordering). We got there and had to put our tables together. Big heavy metal tables outside. Servers had their whole chest out. I was second hand embarrassed, and would never bring kids around. From the time they served people from the separate bills or party to the last table was in 30 minute increments, total of 2 hours. The servers did not listen to requests when things were forgotten or cold. They all had MAJOR attitudes, responses went like "yup" very condescending as they were walking away. When cleaning off the table the owner told us next time we should all have been on one bill and that it would've made it a lot easier for the cooks. When clearing the table the owner dug in the bucket where the dirty plates were essentially saving "unopened" tarter and cold-slaw containers to give to other customers. When someone from my table said it was disgusting to do that, the owner said "why is that disgusting!" Eventually after leaving no tip the owner yelled and told the party to get the hell out and called the women who called her out a bitch. Not to mention we got all you can eat cod and was never once asked how anything was or if we wanted more. I've never had worse customer service in my life and I'm not even being dramatic. read more

My husband and I had lunch on a Sunday afternoon at this location with another couple and the service (or should I say the lack thereof) was so disappointing. I was told by the bartender that we had to order food at the bar if we sat at the patio which we did. After placing our order inside as instructed the bartender proceeded to go out to the patio and collect orders from two different tables. She even went as far as leaning out a window to give one man his drink but we repeatedly had to go inside for service and were not served on the patio except when our food was brought out. We ordered 3 bloody Mary's which were bland and had no garnish and I looked over and one of the tables she had served and a woman at that table was drinking a Bloody Mary that appeared more seasoned and was garnished. The owner was very nice as always but I just couldn't believe the treatment we received from this bartender. read more
