Horrible! I got acrylics and I asked to get them shorter and he ignored me, and they looked like bird nails!! I asked for almond shaped and he ignored me and they were square!! Not what I asked for! Then he starts talking to the other people but I can't understand what they're saying, but I know it's about me bc they were laughing and looking at me, and pointed to my nails But actually I should be the one laughing at them bc they don't know how to do simple nails that my 11 year old daughters friend can do! UPDATE: After writing my first review I found out that Lily sold her business Lily's Nails. So it wasn't her that I spoke to that day when they were rude. Lily is now at her husbands nail salon Paso Nails. I should have known something was different they were always so nice. I went to Paso Nails yesterday and Andy did a great job as always, much better than what Number1 nails did. And offered me a FREE yogurt drink, I had Strawberry and it was delish. I received a reply to my first review and was told they were short staffed the day I went there. That would have been nice to hear the first time instead of being told the person who does fills weren't there when I know that anyone who does nails can do fills. So I don't accept that they were short staffed. There's no excuse for lies or rudeness. read more

The young gentleman who did my pedi was great, however, when my gift certificate was not honored afffter my pedi (due to a new owner...same business name) and I was ABSOLUTELY HUMILIATED, I decided to write this. I brought cash for a tip...a generous tip...and no money since I had my certificate. I was told to sit and wait while they decided what to do. The owner came out after I waited for 10 minutes in "holding," feeling like I was a shoplifter or something, and she pointed at my wallet and asked if I had any money in there. best pedicures ever!! i have gone quite a few times and have always been happy with the service. The staff was even OK when my daughter came with me and sat on my lap.. the girl even painted her toes too!! i wanted to get my nails done but have had a hard time finding a place that could do them the way i like them, square and straight, but i thought i would give them a whirl. the girl that did mine paid so much attention to make sure they were all the same size, and that the tips were all the same size, i have never my nails done like this! Unfortunately, the menu offers a deluxe pedicure with a 10 min stone massage. The guy not only was harsh with the pedicure tools on my feet, stabbing me, but his hands were fast and rough. Felt like he was speeding through it. When I told him he gave me two minutes of massage per leg and the stones were only 1:43, per the timer, a total of 5:43-not 10 minutes! He said he would charge me the regular pedicure price, and not the deluxe! Then why add it to their menu? read more

I went here on the spur of the moment and my nails look amazing. So if that was the only thing I cared about I would be giving this place 5 stars. A man greeted me and sent me to a station with a very unpleasant young woman who was very diligent with her work snipping and filing way past my pain threshold. I sat there bored out of my mind trying to keep myself from pulling out my Kindle. I did not want to be rude. The manicurist often spoke in Vietnamese to whom Im not sure. Clearly she wasnt speaking to me. I think she said only one sentence to me "what are you staring at me for?" At this point I shook my head and pulled out my kindle. The French tipped manicure cost me $45. Now if that was the extent of my suffering I would have kept my opinion to myself, as my mom taught me if you dont have something good to say dont say anything. But as my tortured cuticles have become red and inflamed I feel the need to warn people, if you're not a masochist choose another salon. read more

Had a morning myself. My husband sent me out to get my nails done. I got there just as they opened. Michael worked on my nails. Turned out perfectly and my toes turned out cute too even got flowers in them. I was there for a total of a hr. And ten minutes. Very friendly. Been going around to other places lately and feel like it's been a waste. At Lily's understood my request and didn't pressure me into adding more to my pedicure. I only added the callous removal for $5 and nail art for another $5 would go back. Can't wait to see the remode. I took my niece and daughter in today to celebrate my nieces birthday and the service was horrible. They took no more then 5 minutes and gave one of the girls a fan to dry off their nails and not the other. When I went to pay they charged more for my daughter assuming that she was older without even asking! I asked why one cost more if they're both the same age and they started talking to each other and at this point everyone in the salon was watching. The guy then proceeds to question my daughter in front of everyone about what grade and how old she is. Definitely ruined the experience! read more

I had been with Lily's thru 3 ownerships . And 5 different nail techs. I was a regular acrylic fill. Nothing else usually. This time I get a pedi, it was great :). Days after I get athletes foot and a gross nail fungus..Saaaaweet.-_- .3 months later I'm still dealing with this nusinss itching cracking feet. I accuse bc I noticed the tools we not clean that they had foot dust and what not on them. I'd never had this before. We both got pedicures, my teenage daughters each got acrylic sets, and my nieces both had kid's manicures. They were super friendly and conversational, everything was neat and clean (they use sealed disposable nail tools) and we were all happy with the results. New management is amazing.. I didn't have a apt they took me right away for a mani/ pedi gel polish. I used to go there when it had the old owners it was horrible. I saw the big sign that said new management so I tonight I give it a shot. They have all new seats that are so comfy too. I watched not one time did they tell someone to have a seat and wait they had enough staff to get everyone in and they where busy but they always had a person ready to work. If I could give this place negative stars I would. My boyfriend had gotten me a gift certificate for this place and I have never had such a bad experience. My sister in law Hannah and I went together and the level of disrespect was unreal. They were rude and not attentive AT ALL! This is the third time I tried this place. First time was great, no problems besides having an appointment and then having to wait while they took walk ins first. I got acrylic nails. It hurt more than usual but I figured it'd go away. Second time I got a pedi. I also had to wait for over a half hour for the employee to even come to the pedi chair. Third time I got acrylic nails again. The lady that did my nails was on her phone the entire time. The only time she talked to me was to tell me how much it was. She did NOT check to see if all of my nails were the same length which they are not. They are all different sizes. The sides of each nail looks awful. You can see my real nails! She also filed my nails after putting the clear shiny coat on them so it has scratches all over them. I told her all of this and she didn't try to fix it. It also has bubbles in almost every nail. She also cut me in a few places. My nails and cuts hurt more than they actually should. Not going back to this place again. read more

My daughter and I went for a pedicure. It appeared like they could start on our nails right away as there wasn't anyone waiting. They had us choose our colors and immediately sat us down and put our feet to soak in the water. About 15 minutes went by before they began our pedicure. I noticed the next two customers had their feet sidling for 25 minutes prior to starting their pedicures. At least they should alert you to the true time frame of when your device will actually start, versus holding you captive with soaking feet! read more

Went for a deluxe pedi today with my Mom. Absolutely deluxe! They spent over an hour on us and it was fabulous!! The salon is so clean and everything was completely sanitary. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating! I loved that we didn't feel rushed at all, they used lotions, oils, scrubs, hot stones, clay and hot towels. It was amazing! I was not happy with service and deceptive pricing. I requested the $23 regular pedicure and the $35 gel French Manicure as listed on their price card at selection. They tried to overcharge me by saying the French Manicure was $45. I showed them the pricing card and they said they would give it to me for $35 "this time". I was treated poorly, like I was an inconvenience to them. I will no longer do business with them. read more

We just moved here from Orange County in May 2012. I was nervous about trying a new nail salon. I loved the way my manicurist did my nails before moving and I am pretty picky. I have now been going to see Andy every 2 weeks for the past year. He always does a fabulous job!! Actually, better than the guy in OC!! They are always busy .... and I am sure this is why! Lily and Andy always greet me by name and thank me for coming in. I always schedule an appointment and rarely wait longer than 10 minutes. I rate this salon A++!! read more
