I have been to many different nail salons and this one is the best around. The salon is clean and the products they use are great quality. I have had no chip manicures at several places and they never last me two weeks. Since going to Miranda they last at LEAST two weeks and I am very rough on my hands between my three kids and constant cleaning. I recently had her wax my eyes tied for the first time and she did an amazing job at that to! She's super sweet, friendly and pays a lot of attention to detail. read more

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE ALL DAY TO WAIT! This used to be one of the best nail salons in the area. Now they're only interested in servicing clients who want "no chip" services. They will go as far as to claim they're totally booked if you call to make an appointment for a standard manicure/pedicure. I took my mom there for her birthday and even though we were the first two people in the door Sunday morning, we were bumped behind two people who came in after us because they wanted no chip services (I'll add that these people were walk-ins too). Apparently only the highest price services are worth the time of the employees at Lily Nails. I'm shopping around for a better salon that appreciates ALL customers. I'll update this review with a recommendation when I find one. read more

Very disappointed. I went here for a manicure & pedicure. The footbath and nail trimming were ok. I knew something was amiss when the nail tech did not buff my toenails. I went through the manicure process and then had to ask to have my fingernails buffed. This has always been done automatically everywhere else I've been. I will never go back here. Walked in on Saturday morning, 9:30am. Yes it was busy. All seats taken. I got no chip for the first time. I waited half an hour before someone started on me. I didn't mind because I did just walk in on one of the busiest days. Tiny the manager did my nails and she was very nice. She actually remembered my name at the end of the appointment too. They do take appointments, but that doesnt mean you wont be waiting for atleast 20 minutes. they do a pretty good job for the most part. They talk alot between themselves. I asked the nail tech to make my nails more narrow and she only fixed one. I dont think ill be going back. read more

I am a very loyal person. I will go somewhere for the rest of my life if I have an enjoyable experience and they continue to make me happy. I very much loved going to lilys nails. I would go every 2-3 weeks to get gel fills. I love them!! But.... Its really a pick of the bunch here. If you get someone whom has not done your nails before be prepared for the worst. I have had to have my nails. Redone twice because someone else has done them and thats more $$$ out of my pocket which I dont appreciate. They didnt even offer to redo them for a cheaper price or even free. When it was there inexperienced persons fault in the first place. Sigh. After these experiences I now usually try to get the same two woman whom have done my nails consistantly. Which I am very happy with. I have been coming here for years, and I just love this place! I recently tried a different salon just to explore, and I immediately regretted it. You just shouldn't mess with a good thing! I usually get full get sets, and they always look phenomenal and stay on pretty long too! It's been a while since I've gotten a pedicure or regular manicure there, but they were always great in the past. The little massages they give either your calves or hands feel better than most places, too. This is a small nail salon, 4 pedicure stations & 4 manicure stations. They also do eyebrows. It seems there are 2 kinds of manicures (excuse my philosophising a moment): the superspeedy ones, and then the kind where they take their time and do the soaking, cuticles, etc. Either one can be OK depending how much time you have - you might just want the speedy one if you're in a rush, but if you want really good looking nails for a special occasion you'd rather they take the time. This place does the latter; they take their time and do all the steps and paint the nails really carefully. I always note whether a manicurist paints underneath the tips of the nails; a manicure lasts longer when they do because it prevents chipping, but they don't all do it. This person did. I'm typing with my fingers which have been graced upon in Lily Nails...what? This is a very clean, "modern" looking nail salon. I was happy to see that the walls were simple and didn't have 1980's hand and foot models showing us what styles look/looked fresh back then. I made an appointment for my friend and I and when I called ahead I asked the lady to make sure we sit next to each other so we can chat. We get there and the ladies were standing unusually close to us and pressuring us to pick a nail color so they can get started. I was not okay with that, but I realize it's probably a language/culture barrier and they were just trying to help choose a color. BUT STILL, I don't like to be rushed. My gal did such a good job, she was gentle with my hands but made sure my nails were filed and cleaned up my MAN HANDS. I paid with card, and they only accept cash tip, so BRING CASH! She tried to sell me getting my eyebrows done, no chip manicure, nail design, and a pedicure though... Where do I begin?! 1st visit-impressed, 2nd visit- less impressed, 3rd visit- ugh must u try 2 up sell me add-ons? I'm trying to relax! & the tech kept trying to get me to pay for something I didn't want. With every "No thx" came another offer. Although she wasn't rude about it, she was pretty annoying (sorry). Of all 3 visits I only liked my nails once. Pedicure was 2 fast all 3 times & my no chip didn't last more than 8 days, but given I use my hands A LOT @ both work & home I didn't complain, even though I've had my no chip last longer from other salons. Don't think I'd go back even though it's a hop, skip, jump away from home. I'd prefer 2 drive a little further, & pay a little more. I wish I could give a half star.... Or a no star? Walked in, for the first time yesterday. The shop is well... Small... They sat me ALL the way in the back by their back room. When the 5 chairs in front, were empty. People were constantly going in and out for my whole appt. Not to mention the two-three times he stopped to watch tv while he was doing them; professional. . . When he began filing me nails, he never even asked how I wanted my nails filed. He squared them- and I prefer round. My nails were already pretty short, and the shape I liked, so when he had to refile they were even shorter and extremely round!! It's frustrating when you have your nails the shape and length you prefer, you tell the technician the length and shape is fine, and they do what they want anyway. Two of my nails were uneven and lopsided, which when I asked for them to be filed more he didn't even fix it. I had to take the file myself and file the nail for them to actually appear even. Sorry, but am I the nail technician or are you? I made the mistake after this point to stay and finish out my no chip. HUGE mistake. Since my nails were filed poorly, my no chip looks pretty crappy. Every nail is filed a different shape. $30 down the tubes. Which is already expensive, so I expected perfection. I recently moved to Hanover... I live about 1 minute from this place; so I was pretty excited! Well, my advice to all... Drive further..., much further, to another place. Any suggestions on a good nail place, anyone??? read more

It's a small place, but they were hoppin' - it must have been the after work crowd. $35 for a mani/pedi and well worth every penny. I went to this nail salon on Saturday morning. It opens at 9 I walked in at 9:07. They were already pretty busy. I said I wanted a mani/pedi and went to grab a nail polish. On the way to the back wall I was stopped by a male tech to get on the chair (before I got the nail polish!!). So I quickly grabbed one and got in the pedi chair. They have 6 pedi stations and I was third. They are so close to each other that the lady next to me could read my texts! I was pretty happy with the pedi service but the massage and scrub could be a minute longer. I was done with pedi before the two other ladies who were there before me. I figured they come get there nails done here often so the techs take care of them better. I got horrible manicure. First of all while getting rid of my cuticles he managed to cut into my skin twice. I was bleeding and he was sorry but c'mon! I wanted my nails and hands to look nice not like I just finished peeling the potatoes. Then he didn't clean underneath the nails. Since my nails are pretty long there could be something underneath right?? Lastly he painted my wide nails 100% of the surface. Usually at other places they leave the sides free of nail polish so they look slimmer and longer. Also he painted all the way up the nail touching my skin and leaving it colored with the black nail polish. It's Monday my manicure has chipped however I didn't even do anything with my hands like washing dishes or cleaning! I give 2 stars for a nice cozy salon and comfortable chairs. -3 stars for poor service of the male tech with long hair, loud music that didn't help with communicating with the tech whose English was not understandable in that condition and for rushing. read more

Great nail salon; both times I have had male techs and they have done outstanding jobs. I definitely recommend the pedicures ($25). The manicure I got here was okay, but it chipped within a week. The pedicures I have gotten at Lily's have lasted for 1 month+ without chipping. Only thing to watch out for are the techs recommending extra stuff (which obviously costs extra). If you don't want the extra services, tell them so and be adamant about it. Otherwise, great salon! Clean salon, friendly people, great quality. read more

Disappointed with the first time service! The board reads $25.00 for a full set acrylics, I specified I want round nails shape and she go ahead and decide to give me the new sharp point nail shape which I hate! It looks so ghetto! I though, I may give it a shot and see if it grows on me. Time to pay ! She comes and tell me is $30.00 so I point to her the price on the board shows $25.00 , to which she reply " it is an extra $5.00 for the shape" but wait a minute, I never ask for this shape! She is pushing for how much I want to put on the card,$30?,$30? ... She already imposed a $5.00 forced tip on my bill and I though.. maybe she need the $5.00 more than me so I added another $5.00, now she have $10.00 tip and I am going home with a blotched nail job, so bad that I had to fix at home the next day myself! If they do a good job, I would gladly tip for it, but don't impose it, not professional at all. My fingers and nails hurt for 3 days after that blotched job! Needless to say! Gave this place a second chance! NEVER AGAIN !! How can you have a nail salon and be cheap and use old products?!! To the point of him having to stir the nail polish around and dilute it to get some color out!Got pedi & no chip. Both colors were old! I didn't even get to dry my toes. He had me air dry them while he did the no chip. Needless to say the color didn't dry properly got ruined. I'm so Fc.uking PISSED The no chip color was not even the color I wanted. I was able to walk right in and get a full set. However the woman that was doing my nails I couldn't understand to save my life and she kept trying to ask me about how to do them. I had asked for a french tip and she didn't understand, back and forth. I had to change technicians and it was this big deal. So I ended up with white gel tips and it turned out fine. Whenever I have gone in here they've been rude, the job is rushed and usually chips within a day or so, and half the time they make their french tips crooked so it looks ridiculous. Not a fan. They also don't seem to clean things all too thoroughly, especially when busy and trying to rush customers in and out. read more

Dao hooked it up!! Finally got a no chip and pedicure from her and will only go to her, she is efficient and meticulous. My no chip has never been better and she didn't leave even a side untouched! She gave me a great foot massage and hand massage, she was worth the wait. Will go back and make appointments with her. Will need more positive experiences to up the rating...Dao or Tina ONLY..don't make my mistakes! read more

This place is very clean and nice, but the staff was not so friendly I felt like a bother and I understand we all have bad days but I was there to get my nails done which were done nice. I wont come again only because they filed my sisters nails really harsh and cut her on two fingers and that for me was unacceptable. She did not get any type of infection because like I said they are very clean! but you could see the look on the woman doing her nails since we came in she was mad about something and took that out on my sister while filling her nails. read more

This place is very unprofessional. I waited 30 minutes for them to do my nails and was not told I had to wait this long. In addition, they do not clarify the pricing. Got charged 10$ to remove acrylic without telling me there was an extra fee for it. When I addressed this issue they simply said that I could have looked it up on their price board. Also, the lady doing my nails kept pulling my arm and was not gentle at all. She left paint all over my hand and around my nail. Also, she spilled the container of nail polish removal all over my phone and wallet and didn't even apologize for it. I waited patiently & when the lady began to do my nails she was a bit harsh, she hurt me a few times & kept speaking so low that I couldn't hear & understand her. also, it seemed as if she were in competition with the guy next to us because when he finished & the girl went to wash her hands, she just looked at the guy & told me to go wash my hands, I told her to finish the last few nails & she refused. after everything was done, I looked at the outcome & the right hand looked a bit longer than the left hand.
