I found this nail salon on Groupon. The good: *My no chip latest! (the longest I've ever had, about 3 weeks) I finally removed it myself because I don't like the grow out. * They give you a nice neck rub after your no chip. * The owner was nice. The not so good: *The pedicure included apparently was an "express pedi" of course you have the option to upgrade. This express pedi was not relaxing at all and they pretty much shape the nails and paint them. (Good option for someone in a big hurry) I should've upgraded because in my opinion it was an over priced color change. *I don't think they are crazy about taking in Groupon customers but yet have it on Groupon. ( I called to make an appointment and was told they are too busy, but the lady called back and said they had someone cancel and told me I can come in) yet I would never know about this place of it wasn't for Groupon. Really wonderful classimani and pedi can be found here!!! She did an beautiful job on cleaning up my cuticles on both my hands and feet. The polish job was fantastic and there was a lot of care in the application itself but also the cleanup around the nails afterwards (of which there wasn't much since it was done so well. The massage felt very nice - and also got hot towel treatment and stones on my feet. Fantastic experience and I'll definitely be coming back to this salon from now on. Well Thank you Groupon for a fantastic deal, otherwise I don't think I would have come to this place. This place is located on a busy street which is great. Next door is this place for Chinese reflexology foot massage that I have been to in the past. There are restaurants and other places for your daily run around. Sooooo, 3 stars for cleanliness, quality, and ease of making appointment. Nothing more because the 2 women working were not friendly, the owner seemed stressed and just ready to call it a day already, the young girl who did my nails did not speak, and the wait was not called for since I did make an appointment. I had such high hopes for this place since it's so close to my house, but unfortunately they didn't deliver. They have a great deal Monday and Tuesday, $45 for a no-chip and a pedicure, which is what got me in originally. I was satisfied with the color selection and ambiance. My nails were done by this really young girl that barely spoke to me, which is fine. The nails turned out ok and I was out of there in an hour. Problem is 3 days later my no-chip was CHIPPING! Not just 1 nail, but 4 out of 10 which is not ok. I went back to the salon and explained to them the situation. The owner apologized and told the girl who had originally done my nails to remove the polish. The girl started to remove only the ones that were chipping and had a terrible attitude, but the owner told her to take off the full set. The owner, Jasmin was awesome and did my no-chip this time around. She really is a lovely person and didn't charge me anything for the redo. I left happy- but lo and behold, my nails started chipping 5 days later. I'm over this place. Typically when I get no-chip they last 10-14 days. I spent 2+ hours getting my nails done in less than a week and TIME IS MONEY. Coming here is a waste of time and money if you're looking to get a no-chip that lasts. Sorry Jasmin! read more

I went here with a friend last week and I wasn't thrilled. While there is an autoclave for instruments and they seem to be cleaned between uses, the rest of the building is dirty. The mani/pedi is pretty ho hum. More memorable than anything else, however, was the creepy guy that just sat there and stared at us the whole time, not saying a word. Really strange. Jasmin is a great example of what true great customer service is when realized. I have had a mani and a pedi and am very happy with my experience. Today I was a walk-in and was greeted warmly and friendly by her staff, after the pedi I was walked to the table and started my mani once she was completed done with my nails, I was pleasantly surprised by the AMAZING shoulder massage. My nails break easily so I wear gel nails. A bit disappointed to find out they don't do any type of artificial nails but that's ok. I like the work they do when I get my pedi. I also always get my brows done here and my daughter gets her brows and nails done here too. We have never had a issue with our nails chipping on our feet. Jasmine is always nice and polite to us, have never seen her be rude to anyone actually, but then again we are the same toward her. If there was a 0 star for reviews, I would do it. Firstly, the only reason me and my friend gave it a try is because we had a Groupon. When we called to book an appointment, they said they were busy and could somehow squeeze us in. However, there was no one else besides us that evening. As soon as we entered, things were rushed up like crazy. No communication for a while. No music either. The lady that my friend got was extremely sweet, polite and a bit chatty. I got the owner Jasmin. No conversation at all and very unfriendly , she assumed and never asked me if I was just doing the express mani-pedi like my friend. No foot massage , filing or even a lotion in the end for my foot. She just started taking off my polish, cut my nails and changed to another. Not much was done besides this. While doing mani, she did talk because I took efforts , however, I was the customer and not she. She was very mean, rough while doing mani , unprofessional while charging me in the end, wore her coat and rushed to turn on her car to leave for the day while I was still there. I accidentally came upon angel nails after trying to find another nail salon near by which was closed down. I am so glad I found Angel Nails. I have never had a more beautifully done no chip manicure than today. The nail technician not only took her time doing my nails, but also nourished my hands with a lotion treatment for both hands, and not to mention the hot towels used two times for my hands. I was so surprised when after my nails were done the nail technician gave me a shoulder massage for a few minutes. I felt like I was coming out of a spa instead of a nail salon. I've unfortunately had to change my opinion of Angel Nails. While they do a decent job. The place is not the cleanest. It's kind of run-down looking. The lady who runs the place is really sweet and kind and she has done good work in the past, but I dunno.... over the last year, I've gone to a handful of other salons that are just nicer, cleaner and an overall, better experience. They do have nice, massaging pedicure chairs though. I think their pricing is reasonable, but I guess I am just at a point in my life where when I go for a pedicure and/or manicure, I want to feel like I'm at a spa or on vacation or something. This place was close to me so I thought I'd try it out and the reviews were okay. First off, the place was hot and dirty. It was 92 outside and pretty close to that inside as well. The pedicure was mediocre at best and the manicure was nothing special. Jenny seemed annoyed that I didn't want anything more than clear nail polich on my hands. I drove by last Sunday and saw a sign saying under new management, so I stopped in for a pedicure. Definite plus that they are open Sundays. I was very pleased with the new owners and their attention to customer service and the quality of my pedicure. The salon could use a facelift, but I spoke to the owners and they have plans to address that as they build up the business. They did a great job on my pedicure and gave me the best foot massage I've ever gotten, and I've been to all the area nail salons. I also liked how they do not talk in another language where it feels awkward sometimes (I'm sure we have all experienced that before). They are polite and accommodating and I'm glad to see the changes in this salon, because it's so close to my house. Brandishing the name "Angel" requires a certain level of skill, style, and bravery (as I personally know myself ;D ) all silliness aside this place is awesome to say the least. Karen is my favorite! She always asks me about my family, boyfriend, job, and other things. She knows exactly how I like my acrylics done and she doesn't ever yell at me when I come in with tips bitten off by dogs or chewed off etc. she knows her stuff and is extremely professional. It's great to have a place you can go feel like a princess for a day and being called by name upon walking in (although it would be pretty funny if they forgot MY name haha). I went for no chip mani/ pedi on a Groupon. Both woman do not talk, kind of uncomfortable when sitting so close for so long. No chip was just okay, a little disappointed only one coat of top coat. Two coats of white tip, one coat pink, one coat of top coat., we shall see if it lasts. Was charged to remove old no chip polish, yes saying it again charged to remove old polish when getting a new mani. First salon I have been to that has ever done that when getting a mani/pedi. As everyone said, Angel Nails is under new management. I really love the new place and how they brightened up the whole atmosphere. They are always trying to improve the place by painting the walls and adding a TV. The people who work there are extremely nice and all highly professional. I'll even fill you on everything (; Pedicure- They have HOT towels. It feels so great after the pedicure and before the massage. They smell so good. It's heavenly.I love the Delux Pedicure and even just the regular pedicure is great. The feet massages are great and they even have a scrub in which isn't common for regular pedicures in other places. Manicure- They also have hot towels and they feel really good. There's a woman named Joy there and she's really good with hand massages. OH! But if you want the no chip manicure, get it by Jasmine. She can finish your no chip within twenty minutes and I promise you, they do not chip at all for two weeks. Waxing- So far I got my eyebrows, upper lip and underarms done. Jasmine is really good with waxing and you know that she'll always give you the best waxes. I honestly love this place and I will keep coming to this place. The prices are great and fair. The people who work there are also friendly and ready to start conversations if you're feeling social. Salon was difficult to impossible to schedule an appointment for a mani/pedi because it was a Groupon. When I was finally able to schedule my appointment, they refused to honor my Groupon because it was expired even though it CLEARLY states the original amount paid for the Groupon NEVER expires (I was only asking to redeem the amount I paid for the Groupon). Finally they allowed me to redeem the Groupon but over charged me for the mani/pedi. When I questioned the charge, I was made to wait 30 minutes while the owner (I assume the owner) hid in the back until I complained and then made me wait while she cleaned the pedicure bowls- I believe she was waiting for me to leave. She was so unbelievably rude... With all of the nail salons in the area I will never be back and will let all of my friends and relatives know to never visit this salon. After my favorite nail salon closed, I had been hopping around trying new places. I came to angel nails (ironically the same name as the old salon) from a groupon and have not gone anywhere else since. I usually get no chip mani and regular spa pedi. After a disappointing no chip experience, I went back to see if they could fix it, and Jasmine, the owner fixed it no problem. If you want no chip, I highly recommend Jasmine. She is meticulous and takes her time (if there's no one else waiting). If they are backed up with customers, it does seem to feel a bit rushed So try to go on off hours, during the day.
