We arrived and the salon was rather busy for a Sunday afternoon. They were friendly and pleasant. The manicure was very nice and reasonable. The salon was spacious, neat and very clean. Tried here a couple of weeks ago. Very unfriendly service. Seemed annoyed to do my nails. I needed two extensions and have a sensitive thumb/wrist that the tech ignored when I repeatedly told her she was being too aggressive. The extension and whatever massive amount of glue she used BURNED so bad under the UV light but I did my best to power through. I'd never had this type of extension (it looked similar to a press on nail..covered my entire existing nail). The no chip started to peel from the tips a little over a week in. I know that I'm rough on my nails and had a busy week so I waited. I went in today to see if maybe it was just an off day. I walked in a little before six and asked if they had time for a no chip. The lady in the front said "no" in a very rude tone filled with attitude and when I asked what time they closed she yelled "what???!" A couple of times when I asked if they were closing. She continued to rudely look around and tell me they close at 7. My two experiences here completely gave the impression that they don't have to be kind or polite or that they welcome business. Found this nearby because my reg place was booked until after 4pm or so... prices here are kinda ridic considering the level of expertise displayed UNLESS they are building in a tip... which is what I suspect... and would be supported by the general lack of customer service displayed by the employees, from from reception to nail tech. Ambiance is decent for a strip mall salon with little traffic, unless you count the busy street. They had about 8 girls in the salon, with 2 occupied while the rest were doing each others nails or socializing with each other, 6 chairs were empty, one of which I sat in and tried out. The water was tepid, no softner powder dropped into it, like every place I have been to... it was a fancy looking but cheaply silver quilted body throne that didn't seem to do too much massage wise... but maybe it was okay, I got sleepy. The maintenance and cuticle trim on my nails and toenails was decent but not amazing, same with polish, the detail work like doing the ends or tips was skipped, as well as the supposed neck and shoulder massage other reviews mentioned... Lily was the technician, so maybe she doesn't do that... so no extra on tip from the "discounted" $45 combo ..... right. Its $30 at Mimis, but I give a decent tip, so it's about the same in total at the end. Hmm, anywho, not a fan. If I'm going to pay $45 for a basic M/P, it better come with amazing service, bottled water, and a good massage chair.. so meh. Called to schedule two pedicures! They didn't say anything other than the time nothing about what kind of pedicures or asked for my name? We got there about 10 minutes before appointment and they argued with me about what time they said thank you as we sat down they told us we couldn't do a spa pedicure because it takes longer and there was only 5 ladies working than told us it will be fine! I asked my nail lady if they had a razor to get the bottom of my feet she than told me they don't have one and than 5 minutes later two chairs down from me the lady was getting her feet done with the razor. The girl didn't scrub enough off my feet and my feet are still really bad on the bottom paid $55 for a crappy pedicure. Won't be back anytime soon. read more

I got there in 10 and was immediately set up in my chair with hot water bath etc. Mugi finished up with her previous client, cleaned up and headed over to take care of me. Update: my no chip manicure chipped on 5 fingers after only a couple of days!!! They rushed so much that it didn't even last a week. What a waste of money. I've been here twice. The first time I had a great experience! I was excited to come back! The next time was really rushed even though it wasn't busy. I asked for an incredibly simple design (3 dots!) and they told me no. Did not give a reason, just kept saying no. It was really disappointing. The shape of my nail was also wrong. This place had good reviews and I was close so I thought I'd give it a try. I came at their grand opening with some friends but didn't like my experience then but I came back again figuring that it was because they had just opened. Today my experience was mediocre at best. My nail tech didn't ask what shape I had wanted and then cut them too short to round them the way I had asked. While I was getting my no chip mani, I had noticed that the nail tech noticed something on my pinky but I saw her brush it away so I figured it was okay. At the end of the manicure, I looked and saw three little bumps underneath the polish. I asked the nail tech and she said "yeah, it must be some dust" and then just stared at the cash in my hand waiting for her tip. She didn't offer to fix it or apologize or anything. For a combined cost of $65+ tip; I would expect that she at least apologize or ask if she can fix it considering they close in 30 minutes and only one other customer was there. That's plenty of time to fix it. When I asked if my toes were done after my no chip, she just said "yes, you can take out the things." I should have listened to the other reviews and skipped this place. I doubt I'll be back and wouldn't recommend anyone coming here either. For the price, the quality and experience were lacking. I got a no chip manicure and regular pedicure done and both were subpar. I'll just quickly list off reasons why not to come. - The front desk lady was not friendly towards me but the client who came in after me (who was Caucasian) she was super nice to her. Uh ok. - They don't have a great selection of colors for polish. I asked if they had a specific OPI color and the girl just said no whereas most places try to help you pick a shade that is similar. - My nail technician wasn't friendly, did a sloppy job on my nails, and kept having an attitude when I apparently didn't have my arm/hand situated the way she wanted it when doing my manicure so that she kept yanking it hard to move it and then huffing and puffing about it. - You'd think they would have spaced people out better due to Covid but they didn't. They had a lady right next to me during my pedicure and then seated me next to another lady during my manicure when there was another station open right next to it that would have had an empty chair between us. Definitely steer clear of this place. Mediocre at best and for $65, I wouldn't waste my money here again. I work from home and was told that maybe why my I did finger came right off is because I was using my mouse. I've been here several times, and the services were decent with gel manicures and pedicures lasting about a week, but the recent service I had here was a gel manicure that was rushed even though not busy. There were bubbles in my nails (not just a few but all of them). They were annoyed when I asked if that can be fixed. On top of that, a few of my nails chipped the next day. The color selection here is so minimal and for what they charge you can go elsewhere for less and better service. The place may seem clean, but they use the same brush on the nails (after cutting cuticles until it bleeds), and instead of disinfecting and sanitizing they just put it back in the drawer to use on a different person. When reminding them of the dirty nail brush, they start talking in a different language angrily to one another. The customer service is awful. I do not recommend this nail salon. read more

This is my 2nd visit here and it's definitely the cleanliest and most beautiful nail salon here in Schaumburg. The decor is a soft and feminine pink and white and all the furniture and nail stations are pristine and immaculate. I was happy to learn they offer chrome pedicures as an upgrade because not every nail spa offers this specialty and the price of $60 was incredibly reasonable and affordable. Daisy was my nail technician here and she took her time and shaped and polished my nails to perfection. The salon itself is quiet and relaxing and all the staff working here is very quiet and polite. I really loved the peaceful vibes here not to mention how clean and aesthetically pleasing everything was. I was able to walk in and get in a seat right away. The salon is very nicely decorated, "pretty" and clean. Most of the technicians seemed nice while some could be friendlier. The salon wasn't busy at all and seemed over staffed. There were 5 techs sitting on their phone/ watching TV while I was getting my mani/ pedi. I opted for a no chip mani and regular pedi. My fingernails were trimmed crooked but the color was nice and did last 2.5 weeks. My pedicure was ok: nails turned out nice and the color lasted but the actual pedi was not special. I have been to other nail salons where there's extra TLC given to my legs/ feet. This one felt more of a hurried pedi. Would I return? A nail salon that's pretty, high quality, AND open on Sundays? M Nails felt almost too good to be true! This place is located in the most unassuming strip mall, just a minute or two down the road from the Streets of Woodfield. But despite how it looks on the outside, the aesthetic here is AMAZING! From the tray ceiling to the mauve velvet chairs, no design detail was overlooked. And the clean white decor with gold accents is any millennial's dream. BUT what's more -- they actually do a good job with nails. The shaping on my nails is perfection, and the polish is pretty darn good too with just a couple micro bubbles and nearly unnoticeable polish lines (save the sides of like three nails). My mom's nails weren't quite done to the same caliber, but my nail tech, Suzi, was great! We made a same-day appointment, but it didn't seem totally necessary, as the place was nearly empty when we arrived and only a handful of people trickled in while we were there. One small thing: the people working here weren't super nice. They literally didn't talk to us once except to ask us to pay. But I'd still come back here in a heartbeat, as the overall experience was still top-notch. read more
