Saw this shop in the same plaza of cafe Madison, so walked over to give it a try. I counted it as steps towards some of the calories I ate, LOL! The shop is cute and filled with all kinds of goodies! Caramels, chocolate covered pretzels, chips, Oreos, etc. the owner, Lily is a delight and you can tell she really loved what she does! The love and passion is exhibited in her work. There are many samples in the store to try but we decided on the mini sea salt caramel truffles and the milk chocolate sea salt caramels. I have a weakness for anything sea salt and caramel! Daughter took a first bit and did a little dance and when hmmm! Sooo it's definitely amazing! We envision adding some of those mini truffles to some sea salt gelato and we'll be in snack/dessert heaven! Ok gotta go run a marathon now after today's reviews

Lily is the heart and soul of the Chocolate Paradise over which she holds expert dominion. Her friendliness and genuine interest in her customers matches perfectly with the homemade candy she creates. She explains that she is a first generation American of Chinese heritage who worked in a law office before discovering her true calling as a chocolateer. Her small shop in the Pheasant Valley Center on Buck Road, Holland, PA, feels a bit enchanted upon walking in. There is a wall of shelves holding most of the milk, semi sweet and dark chocolate offerings, seductively packaged and fairly priced. They grab your attention until Lily's voice calls you across the room to where she sits packaging her goods and overseeing the operation. She asks what you like, makes suggestions, and offers samples to help convince you to take a deep dive into her cacao universe. Just follow her lead. She won't disappoint. I purchased a box of peanut butter cups and buckeyes, and sampled sea salt caramel chocolate covered cashews (sultry), sriracha honey peanuts (mildly sweet with a chili bite), and a German waffle cookie (Stroopwafel) dipped in milk chocolate with caramel center(nice crisp base for the creamy brown blanket and that sticky caramel kick). The peanut butter was high quality (way better than Skippy), creamy smooth that melded wonderfully with the equally soft and sexy chocolate casing. Made me wonder how anyone introduced to these babies could ever go back to Reece's!? (Rhetorical question - They can't.) Well, maybe for Halloween, but otherwise I'd rather go for Lily's best - eat fewer, but kvell so much more. Lily's Chocolate Paradise is where to go for your chocolate fix. Yes. There other a few other custom chocolate shops around, but none with Lily's exceptional personality, nor at such affordablilty. This is rich indulgence for the people!

Lily clearly loves her craft, and it shows. Not only are her chocolates beautifully executed, but they are also tops in taste. In a blind test, Lily's infamous turtles won over a popular big brand shop. Her sea salt-caramel-cashews are pure genius (our family could not stop eating them - bought the big box the second time around) and her sea salt caramels will take your taste buds to paradise. Even her basic chocolate covered pretzels (we always get the assortment, but my favorites are milk and white) are delicious, and never make it home unopened. When I needed a tray for friends in from out-of-town for a funeral recently, Lily didn't hesitate to deliver. Years ago, before Lily opened her shop, she crafted turtle party favors for me, and I still get comments about them (best party favor ever)! All chocolates are exquisitely packaged for quick purchase and gift giving (if you can bear to part with them). I wish there were more stars - Lily earns and deserves them!

I ordered two of the healthcare workers packages, which were shipped to my home. The boxes were beautifully packed and bursting with an eclectic variety of chocolate treats. The boxes included a variety of individually wrapped chocolate pretzels. The toffee coated pretzel was my favorite! Also, sea salt caramels, chocolate dipped wafers, graham crackers, truffles, and chocolate covered almonds. Everything we tried was delicious and a value for $35.00.

This is my new favorite chocolate shop. Don't have to travel to jersey anymore. Lily is awesome and super passionate about her business. I can't recommend this place enough!

Two of them had a great combination of fruit and chocolate, and the Rocky Road is well Rocky Road! I admit the prices are higher, but worth the price if they are respecting the farmers that they source the cocoa from. You can tell by tasting it, it's quality chocolate and so pretty to look at! A great place to get family and friends a gift, because they will know there was care in the chocolates and other confections from here. I've bought the dark chocolate & milk chocolate pretzels for my Mom and a former co-worker; they both really enjoyed them! So, I might not stop by all the time, but I definitely will stop by as a special treat for myself and will definitely continue to buy gifts from here!

Most of the stands are operated by the Amish, who travel back and forth to Lancaster, bringing you the freshest products from their farms and kitchens. This is the sweet spot inside this market place, with oh so many homemade chocolates, fudge, hard to find old fashioned candies, rows and rows of bagged sweet treats, they also sell Asher's chocolates and right now the store is well stocked with a great selection of Easter candies. This alone is enough excuse to get many in trouble, but add in rows and rows of homemade jams, apple or pear butters, fresh nuts galore, dried fruits and so many snack options. On top of all of this they have so many different pastas, some fresh and right out of an Amish kitchen in Lancaster. How can one not go crazy shopping with all of this temptation? Oh wait, I'm not finished! You name it, they have it when it comes to spices, herbs, cereals, baking goods, they have a large organic selection and yes, some even gluten free! They make their own nut butters, right in the store, with peanuts, cashews or almonds and they have a great variety of honey straight from Lancaster. I'm obviously a fan of this store, the homemade chocolates are divine, I love many of their products, so I do stock up when shopping here. Many free samples are scattered here and there, including those wonderful nut butters.

I purchased several one pound and half-pound boxes of chocolates. I specified for each box, that I wanted the boxes filled. I did not care what the weight or prices were. Each box contained assorted chocolate-covered fruits and truffles. I buy the same candy varieties each year, so I am speaking from experience. Every year, the boxes are filled with the chocolate-covered fruits overlapping each other and small paper cups, each with one truffle. The boxes look impressive, when opened. This year, the woman who helped me did not overlap the fruit and put them in the box piece by piece. One chocolate-covered orange slice took up one entire row!! Every year, there are easily three orange slices per row and four pieces of other fruit, I.e. apricots/peaches, per row. When my recipients opened their boxes, the candy looked awful. The boxes were half full. Once again, I explicitly said I did not care about weight and/or price. I wanted the boxes FILLED!!! I have never been so embarrassed! The candy was good, but the presentation was just awful. I am a very loyal and dissatisfied customer. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edited to say- I also purchase the solid milk chocolate, foil-wrapped balls. Let me tell you, they were smaller than half their usual size. The foil is so hard to remove, I needed my 5 year old's little fingers to unwrap them! Smaller in size, higher in price.

It is a must stop whenever I am in the area, have never had a complaint. Their meltaway chocolates are outstanding. If you don't buy anything just the aroma in the store is a delight. I travel around the area and make a point of stopping in chocolate stores as my wife likes chocolate. No complaints from anything I have brought home from Pierre's. When I say they are tops, it is because I have been to many chocolate stores, stores that have been around for decades. These other stores make some chocolate and also resell other chocolate, not the highest quality. I will not mention these other stores as they obviously have a loyal following to be open for decades, I just want better. This shop has 35 years history and is operated under the second owner, they are not the new kid on the block for sure. But you want high end chocolate you have to stop in this rather non-descript store and give their wares a try. They also ship for a flat fee which I recently tried and the goods came earlier than expected, although I really rather prefer to visit the shop.

In December, I wanted to give some of my coworkers a sweet gift while supporting a local business. Mueller's has a location a few blocks away from our office in Philadelphia so it seemed like a great match. (This is posted under the Rockledge location since that is where their customer service number rings). After I clicked the 'buy' button on the website, I received a weird error message and immediately sent an email off to the customer service contact since I didn't get a confirmation email and it wasn't clear if my order went through. Long story short - my card was charged, but the order was never fulfilled. I called their customer service number twice in four weeks and someone dutifully took down my name, phone # and order but never called back. Similar lack of response to inquiries sent to their customer service email (no response to 2 emails after several weeks). The "contact us" link on their website has had an error message on it for weeks so that doesn't work either. All told I've spent several hours dealing with this and my coworkers never got their chocolate that I paid for.
