A great lil Mediterranean spot in Indialantic FL. We were looking for something fresh and easy to eat with a few friends while we were in Melbourne and after a quick search on Yelp, we found Lily's! We all love Mediterranean food and this was a great pick. We were seated super quickly during a lunch on the weekend. The inside was quaint and clean. We all shared a few dishes- Lily's Ultimate Hummus, Lily's Mixed platter and the best friend's platter. This offered a good variety of things to share, from shrimp, to beef, to chicken. Located just steps from the beach, Lily's Mediterranean Grill is a small seaside spot that delivers big Mediterranean flavor. They even have a few parking spaces out front, which is convenient. I ordered the lamb gyro, and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was soft and fresh, the tzatziki sauce had just the right tang, and the portion was generous. Everything about it was spot on. As a nice surprise, the chef sent out a sample of their spicy potatoes and they were excellent! Crispy, perfectly seasoned, and a great complement to the meal. Beautiful location and really nice people working here and taking orders, they bring your food to your table and make sure you have what you need. My hubby and I chose the beef plate and chicken gyro, which sadly did not impress in the flavor profile, I will say the tzatziki sauce didn't have any of the usual flavor, and the pita was barely warm and difficult to chew. I wouldn't come again but I hope they are improving and I just experienced an off-day. read more

I tried Lily's Mediterranean fresh grill today because I was in town for work and wanted something on the healthy side that was gluten free. I got the falafel bowl to go and it was huge. It came with 8 falafels, rice, hummus, and a small salad. The woman I ordered with was very knowledgeable. The food came out very fast. FYI there is free parking in the back, and it is right on the beach so you can walk over to the water or park and have a beautiful view. Parking is in the back off of Jimmy Buffet Hwy. it's close to the beach but you can't really see the ocean, but that ok because the food is awesome! I had the Lily's Hummus and added gyro meat. Creamy hummus, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes and the meat was tender and the best seasoning I've had in the states! Everyone around me was talking about how good their food was. Our service was exceptional...friendly and fast. Ambience is ULTRA casual. Restaurant appears to be a heavily high pick-up order or Grub Hub place. I must admit that I was skeptical, but being big middle eastern food fans new to the area, we tried Lily's Med Fresh Grill out and man was it good! We split the cold Meza and mixed grill platters...plenty of food for two people. Plenty of delicious offerings. Loved the falafel and hummus. Lily's have changed my taste buds forever they atmosphere was amazing the chef had to fill in to wait on me and he did not disappoint it was my first time having tabbouleh and it was amazing I can't believe I went my whole life with out having it ! The hummus started the party off right and the Spicy chicken Gyro was spectacular! The spicy potatoes served with lemon wedges once I squeezed the lemon on top and dipped it in the hummus I took my tastebuds to another universe the portions sizes are big enough to share and because it was just me I had plenty left overs that I am more than excited to heat up ! What a great little spot! I really enjoyed my experience here. The staff were super friendly, courteous, and accommodating. I was having dinner alone after flying in early and working with a contractor all day. I was very tired and hungry. I decided to grab a quick meal at a new place. I ordered a grilled chicken gyro with fries and a coke zero. The dining area was made up of two small rooms and a small outside patio. My favorite place to get gyro's has always been at Olympia Cafe in Savannah, GA until now...this was absolutely the best gyro and the best tzatziki I have ever eaten! We ordered it to go, but Hubby said inside was really cool as well as very clean. The gentleman helping him was extremely kind and helpful and it seemed to be a family run business. Next time we are in Melbourne, or even passing thru, we will definitely be stopping here. If we had stayed 2 nights, we would've eaten here again and tried the grape leaves. Very disappointed. Right from the moment we entered we saw a lady at the cashiers, who was very engaged in her phone. Once I asked where we can sit, she just said do whatever you want. Menu says platters come with rice/fries or veggies. That ladies when was taking an order said it's $3.99 surcharge, which wasn't reflected on menu, which makes at each dish $22 +. First time when we were in this place we received outstanding service and got our order work table service. This time it was a big disappointment. Fries were seasoned well with lots of feta, the meat was cooked tenderly, super fresh salad on the side and a warm, chewy pita... what more could you ask for?! Location is great right by the beach although a bit of a hearty, filling meal before a day in the sun. Would recommend for dinner for sure. This place was a GEM!!! We started with the grape leaves. They tasted super fresh. You could tell they were most definitely homemade. The falafel bowl was also super delicious. I personally enjoyed the spicy gyro. Never had one like this before. The spices were incredible. Finally we were offered this desert by the chef that was with semolina and topped with a cream and pistachios. Out of this world good. Since the chef gave us this one free, we had to get the one made with breadcrumbs because it was grandma's recipe and you know when it's grandma's recipe it has to be goooooood! The service was incredible. The staff were hospitable and nice. Supposedly they are going to start doing more of dinner type plates in the near future. At the end of 5th Ave near the beach....a hole in the wall with big flavors. Run by a family from Lebanon. Authentic flavors and good portions. We started with cheese rolls....I would pass but still flavorful but not my thing...... the hummus portion was huge...but we had to ask for more pita bread....they obviously do a ton of carrying out...we witnessed it and so our pita was packaged to go.....not a good thing when you are sitting in the dining room. The dining room was pretty humble. Small just like the print on the menu....fortunately they have a large version on the wall. So you are thinking with all I talk about still four stars....yes....flavors and service trump decor and size.
