Stopped in for lunch and it was pretty busy. A good sign. We thought. I ordered the Greek salad and it was up in the pass in no time. My dining companions chicken souvlaki sandwich was not. Once it made it up to the pass my now warm salad was brought to the table. The salad was Ok. Chopped iceberg lettuce some tomato slice a few olives and feta. The dressing or the lettuce was really watery. Lots of liquid in the bottom of the bowl. Maybe that is why the dressing was kinda bland. Now it was a large portion but 14 dollars worth of lettuce and fixings. Not sure about that. Add protein and I would have been pushing twenty bucks or more. Grilled chicken souvlaki sandwich was also plentiful in chicken and fixings. However I would recommend asking for whatever dressing (Greek dressing or tzatziki) on the side. Or at least extra on the side. Interior was clean and intimate. But that also means you can hear conversations from across the room. The clientele was senior citizens and that might be why they were speaking so loud. But I now some helpful hints on Medicare :). The waitresses were nice and they were engaged with the large number of regulars. One entree was flavorful one was not. So only three stars since the simple one was the worst. read more

I recently placed a to-go order from Grecian Garden in Suntree, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant offers a great selection of Greek desserts, which was a nice surprise, and I also noticed they have daily specials, giving customers good variety if you visit often. For my order, I tried the Greek lasagna (pastitsio). The flavor was good and the food was prepared well, but the portion size felt a bit small for the price. That's probably the only area where I think there could be some improvement. Overall, Grecian Garden is still a solid spot in the Suntree area, especially if you enjoy Greek cuisine and desserts. I always like this Greek cafe for breakfast or lunch. The service is prompt and efficient. It a very light and airy place. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich.,came with fries and salad. Had a little too much oregano. Fries were very crispy. But a very satisfying meal. Unfortunately my Companion had the Gyro. I say unfortunately, The meat had a really mushy texture and had no flavor. I had forgotten about this restaurant and decided to see if they were still in business and open on Sundays. Thankfully the answer was YES to both. They were extremely full and busy with the "after church" crowd. Yet the hostess seated me right away at a table for 2 by the front windows. Service is extremely attentive and efficient, even with the large groups and nearly every table full of diners. I ordered the Souvlaki gyro and side Greek salad, coffee, and Baklava. All under $20. The food was excellent and reminded me of when I visited Greece while in the military. I will not forget about Grecian Garden Cafe again. It is most definitely a return to restaurant. read more

Very disappointed. Website stated certain items which they no longer serve and needs updating. We arrived at 11:05 & food did not come out until 1150. It would have been appreciated if we had been told they were backed up, so we could have made an informed decision. As it turned out, we were already there for 25 minutes before it was communicated about the delays on our order (Cobb Salad & Western Omelet). We were told they had to get all the to-go orders out. The Cobb Salad was fresh. The omelette was cooked to order. The fresh baked biscuit was warm and delicious, though, some honey would have been nice to have on the side. The server was apologetic about wait. I may give it another try based on the quality of food. Communication upfront would have made this experience a much better one. read more

Went there for the first time in years. Not sure if this is under new management, but the owner/manager was a total jerk. We have a Service dog and I understand he I guess needs to ask if it's a Service dog although it's clearly written on his vest and leash. He also said to make sure the dog stays on the floor. Where else would he go? On the table? I said yes. He smirked and walked away. No thanks for coming in to his restaurant. Then he came back and accused me in front of other customers not to feed him. I literally had my knife in my hand and hadn't begun to touch my food let alone my Service dog. Again he walked away with a smirk. The waitress was very nice and apologized for his behavior. Apparently she does this a lot. We absolutely will NEVER go back again. He probably doesn't read these reviews because he doesn't care whatsoever. Great place for lunch This restaurant is located on the northeast corner of Wickham and Pineda. It is in a strip center on the north side of the WaWa station. There is plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. It is in the center of the center with windows on 3 sides of the main seating area. They have a board outside that tells what the daily specials are. You enter through a door on the west side. As you enter the counter is to the right and the main dining area is to the left. We were greeted by a waitress that seated us. The restaurant mostly tables for about 50 people. They serve only breakfast and lunch but not dinner. The breakfast menu showed eggs, omelets, waffles, and pancakes and the lunch food is paninis, gyros, and sandwiches. I ordered a turkey bacon club sandwich and a tea. The cost was about $15. Others ordered a tuna fish sandwich ($7), Gyro ($9), and a panini ($13). The food was a little long to come out but we went there during lunchtime. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good with large portions. Overall, a very nice meal with a friendly staff at a reasonable price. This was our first time here based on previous Yelp reviews we decided to give it a try. It was really good. We had the breakfast special. 2 Eggs, Bacon, and 2 pancakes, this was also served with juice and coffee or tea for $7.90 I know this is a pretty basic meal but it seems many restaurants can't even do this right in Florida. Large portions, steaming hot and fresh. The coffee was not great, weak and a little bitter. Iced Tea was freshly brewed and delicious. We are going back later this week to try the greek food. The dining room was cozy and comfortable. Lots of windows and ample seating. Only drawback .....we were the only ones wearing masks. I won't be going back to this restaurant. Bad costumer service. Due to the insistence of my mom I decided to try this restaurant. The place was clean and not much of an atmosphere, not even Greek. I had a Greek salad with grilled chicken, a normal salad nothing out of the extraordinary. Almost at the end of my salad I found a decent piece of plastic wrap. The waitress came by and asked if everything was ok and I handed the piece of plastic. She looked at it and took it away without saying a word. I saw her talking to the gentleman by the cash register who looked like the manager or owner. Never one of them or a staff member came by to apologize or say sorry or ask me if I had ingested a piece of plastic. I still don't know if I ingested a piece. I wasn't expecting a free salad , nor dessert or coffee, but at least a sign that shows the costumer they care about them. I didn't question, I paid my bill and walked away. Hey things happen ! If that is the case I may have to give this place another try. ****************************** Original June 24th, 2010 We've been semi-regular customers to the Grecian Garden Cafe since it opened. We usually go for Saturday morning breakfast once or twice a month, plus the occasional evening meal once in awhile. Today (24 Jun) we found out how much this place cares about loyal customers. When my Greek salad arrived, I dug in, but after about 8 bites I found an insect in the salad. I notified my server, who took it to the kitchen and I'm assuming the owner's mother, who was working as she sometimes does running the counter and the cash register. Later, my server came back and asked if I was sure it was a bug as the owner's mother said it was oregano. I said I was sure -- you could make out the legs and the antennae. I left it at that -- we decided to stay and eat our entree's as they were just coming out. No other apologies...no offer to adjust the ticket, or offer us coffee or desert. So when I went to pay, I said to the woman that I was surprised they hadn't offered to adjust the ticket. She just looks at me and says it wasn't a bug but it was oregano. I said I wasn't going to argue but I know what I saw and I was surprised they wouldn't offer regular customers any type of adjustment and left it at that. (SIDENOTE - I just had an eye exam on Monday and my close-up vision is perfect). My wife loves this place and I do like their Greek food and their breakfasts, but I now know how much value they place on my business and on repeat customers. My wife may continue to go back but I won't be just on principle -- there is a Greek restaurant a mile north that has been here longer so I'll give them my business! read more

Our Breakfast of choice! This is a great place, located right off of Wickham in a commercial (mostly office) strip at the top of the Pineda causeway . The decor is quite modest, Coffee Shop like, as it should be! A wonderfully cooked breakfast! Eggs, hash browns,grilled biscuits,ham, bacon, omlettes, corned beef hash, etc., etc. .. all of the good stuff to start your day. The food is proof that if you start with quality, you get a quality product! Clean and pleasant surroundings. Really nice wait staff. Have not been for lunch, but I am sure that it is as good!! We were looking for a greek restaurant to go on Saturdays. We were in the area and thought to try it for lunch first.The restaurant seem clean we were seated right away. We order coffee spinach pie greek salads and a cup of soup. After seeing people that came after us get served we ask the waitress where's our meal. Now waiting over 30 minutes it arrived. My wife refused the soup because it should of arrive before the meals. The Greek salad was terrible. The lettuce was old no tomatoes one cube and one Greek olive maybe that makes it Greek. The reason i gave it 2 stars was because the spinach pie was really good. Other things i didn't appreciate was I had no silverware and my wifes coffee cup was not clean. If you like Greek food or just a great dining experience... eat here. Ate lunch here today and food was great. Just wonderful, simply delicious Greek food. Restaurant is super clean, bright and welcoming. You can tell its family run and you receive a warm welcome upon arriving. They have a beautiful dessert case with great looking pies and cakes on display. Menu is full off classic Greek and also American items. What is nice is that if you LOVE Greek and the person you're with does not there's plenty for them to order. We ate an early lunch but looking at others breakfast, I will for sure be back next week for breakfast. I had the classic Greek salad with grilled chicken. Onions finely chopped, olives, cucumber and they had the most beautiful beefsteak tomatoes. Dressing fresh and feta delicious. I was super full after eating and it was a decent (not giant) size salad, served with pita. My bf had a gyro and said it was great! Looked traditional and fresh. We also like to try random things off the menu and he also tried the potato salad and thought it was delicious. Grecian Garden Cafe- N. Melbourne 4 Stars The Grecian Garden Cafe has been a mainstay if the North Melbourne area for over 20 years. If you want a solid well prepared breakfast with no frills but properly cooked this is at the top of the hash slinger food chain. You aren't going to get any fancy New American breakfast or lunch cuisine here that is not what this restaurant is about. All of the restaurants on my top five worst list could take a lesson from the owner of Grecian Garden. You don't need special ingredients to present a well tuned meal. Take what the wholesalers offer and give it flair. Two eggs, home fries, and country fried steak. Eggs cooked perfectly and seasoned. Home fries are hand cut and seasoned properly. The country fried steak was the typical one BUT IT WAS COOKED CORRECTLY. There is never a need to sleep walk through cooking. I should have to abduce myself from the table. Grecian Garden does that.
