Don't let the offers of drinks and candies fool you!!!!! They are very sweet bc they are going to r a p e your pockets. Walked in to Inquire if I could fix a broken big toe nail there since the pedicure was just done a few days before (somewhere else at max a week). They kept asking over and over if it was done there I said no and said if I need to redo the pedicure that was okay as long as they could do it the EXACT SAME WAY. They said yes. They kept trying to upsell me a spa pedicure but I declined. I requested a REGULAR pedicure just to redo what I already had on my toes which was French design in gel which was only 1 week old but I couldn't make it back to my regular place. The price wall advertised a French pedicure for 30$ and I def anticipated an up charge for gel/acrylic on big toe. When I finished the pedicure I was told my total was $65!!!!!!!! When I asked the break down she said the pedicure alone $25, the big toe fix was $10 ! And the "gel French" was $30!!!!! None of this was told to me before hand. Not to mention they failed to do my pedicure the way I wanted it which I did ask before hand and left my nails uneven. I find this to be extremely dishonest business. I will not be returning and I would def beware going here especially if you aren't a regular they will crack you over the head for basic services and may not even do satisfactory work. read more

I was happy to try gel powder for the fist time and I have to say, it's perfection. The hair dressers are also wonderful, and I LOVE that I can do both at Lily's...sometimes simultaneously! Called for a scheduled appt for a haircut stressing I had curly hair. THe guy told me he had someone experienced in curly hair cutting. When I entered, the guy didn't acknowledge the appt and told me to go to the back. After I explained the haircut I wanted and specifically not having the sides stick out to the lady, she asked "You have picture"? Responding "no, I just explained to you what I want - angled bangs and a layered bob cut". They're imbeciles. These Asians need to understand English; they only understand money. She finished cutting my hair in 5 mins.; and my haircut looks like a have a square helmet on my head. Never again and a COMPLETE DISASTER. Im not someone who gets my nails done on a super regular basis but I wanted to start. I got a regular mani, let my nails grow out for a week and then went in for a gel manicure. They up sold me to a powder mani saying it would help my nails grow longer and be healthier. They also boasted that it lasts 3 weeks or longer. Well I bought in but a week and a half later my nails were chipping, I'm hard on my hands so I thought okay no more expensive manicures for me and I went in 2 weeks later to have the powder removed and replaced with a regular manicure. I mentioned to the owner that they didn't last as long as she promised and she shrugged and went about her day. Well they wrapped my fingers in acetone and let them sit for entirely too long even after I complained that it was irritating my skin. So they finally take them off and she goes to work sanding off the remaining polish with an electric file. When she's done I'm thinking wow my nails feel weak nasty acetone soak yikes and then I go to grab my phone and my nail bends backwards (ouch). I say to the girl why are my nails so weak and thin, she says oh it's the soak they'll be better later. Well they're not, she freaking over filed my nails and absolutely wrecked them. My promise of longer stronger nails was shattered and the manicure that I got is absolutely shot after 2 days because my nails keep cracking at the edges. I had to cut my nails all the way back. I'm so upset, I tried to treat myself and this is what I get. The fact that the tech lied instead of owning up to her mistake is so upsetting. So many never agains at Lilly's ..... Not a relaxing place to have your nails done, it's like grand central station! There's times when you will get different technicians simply because a customer walked in and needs something done. They stop their service for "just a minute" to accommodate/customer greed. All salons should have a plastic liners in pedi tub and disposable files etc... they don't nor do they sterilize the tools! I've watched this on many occasions. Waxing is also not sterile had to ask them to use a new waxing applicator when being told they say "it's new" it's not! Hair, need I say more it's not a hair salon??!! The products are cheap and will break your hair. I'd suggest a blow out nothing more, btw they do give a great wash! Facials & massage leave it to an esthetician, they will leave your broken out, skin damaged or vessels broken... They're very nice people however not for me, I've given them many chances... It's very important to keep a clean & sterile environment! As an owner it's okay to turn people away your workers are not machines and your overall business will suffer from chaos cause your goal is to make as much money as possible and not to clean throughly after each customer. I decided to give Lily's a chance after seeking a change from my usual nail salon that I've gone to for years. I truly had such a negative experience there and will never go back. Firstly everyone was SO pushy and trying to upsell everything. It first started when I asked for a regular pedicure. They insisted on a spa pedicure. So I picked the lowest level spa pedicure to which they said no, you need this spa pedicure (one that was another $10 more than the original spa pedicure). I complied. As I sat there getting a pedicure they put acetone and gloves and a warm compress to remove my previous gel manicure. This is a normal thing to do to remove gel, only they left it on me for the entire duration of the pedicure (maybe an hour). My nails started to be in pain and felt brittle. I don't think you are supposed to soak in acetone for that long. Next it was time for my gel manicure. They brought over the powder colors for me to choose from. I said I didn't want powder and I wanted gel. The owner tried convincing me that powder is better. One of my nails was cracked so I asked her to fix it. She said that'll be an extra $5. During the short massage at the end she asked if I wanted a 20 minute massage. I said no. This was the worst experience at a nail salon, but it didn't end there. Over the coming days, my nails, that are normally long and healthy, all started to crack in the same place, one by one. That really took the cake. Not only was it a bad in salon experience, all of my nails broke afterward. Save your money! read more

I went to this location as I've done several times to get a pedicure today I had a scheduled appointment for 12 pm they didn't take me until 30 mins after that time and were doin walk in appts. I got the 40.00 pedicure that later changed to 80.00 because I got French pedicure on my toes using white gel polish for the tip that was normally a 10.00 extra charge turned into a 40.00 one and he had the audacity to ask me for a tip after charging me 80.00 for a pedicure never again will I go to that horrible place of business they are clearly tryin to get over On people read more

I haven't tried many salons in the area because this was the first I tried and since I've been pleased with the service thus far. Location is perfect right off beach channel dr and unlike most salons in they area they have parking on the right hand side of the building and if those are full then there plenty of parking behind the store at the cost of a tiny walk. Anyway, this place is not some super sleek modern spa but rather a friendly effective place where the techs know your name and doing a great jobs. There is a private wax room ( hate getting brows done in public spaces) complimentary coffee and tea and a chair massage. Also Mon-Weds is a $20 special mani/pedi which is a great price! I've only been here a handful of times and usually get Anna, she is very nice and does very nice work. However, I've had other techs and they are just as meticulous. Overall? I went here for the first time today based off of a ton of recommendations. I'm so impressed with the work Lucky did. First off, I was so relaxed just getting gel powder I was falling asleep and kept apologizing to her. I did not wait at all to be helped, she took off my tips so easily and it was so much better than when I got them off at Selina's on 129th (it took 1 hour at Selina's) and took less than 10 minutes at Lily's. Yesterday I wrote an review after having my gray roots colored. I said that they colored my highlights with the dark root color well, I was wrong when I woke up today I was brushing my teeth and big surprise all my highlights were there and beautiful. Convenient nail salon right across the street from my office, it's easy to pop in and out during a lunch break. They're never too busy, and offer a $20 mani/pedi special Monday through Wednesday. Sooooo I went here for the first time and asked the woman that was doing my pedicure to remove the acrylic toe nail I had on both of my big toes , she told me there was no way to do that, I was stuck like that, the only thing I could do was fill it in. So I had to remove my own acrylic toe nail , with a card , which made the nail break, causing the polish to look horrible on an uneven broken nail. Once I finished my pedicure, I got an S|N|S manicure by Lucky ( she was good). After she finished my nails I paid her and tipped her, she then proceeded to tell me that the woman that did my pedicure was still here, hinting I should give her a tip. The gentleman "running the show" came up to me as I was finishing drying my toe nail polish & told me the lady that did my pedicure was still here, "can I tip her before I was to leave the location?". A tip is only provided when and only when I am satisfied with the service I received & the woman that did my pedicure , I was highly disatisfied with. I would have appreciated if she asked her coworkers how to do what I was asking her to do instead of telling me there was no way because there are plenty of YouTube videos that show many different ways to remove acrylic toe nails. My experience here was a poor one. Not only was I forced into picking a more expensive pedicure option than I wanted, but my powder manicure lasted 1 week. Don't get me wrong, I was taken right away when I walked in, but I didn't like that I kept saying that I wanted a regular pedicure and being told the one $10 more (not that big of a deal, but mad because I didn't want that option) is better for me because it has callus remover. I'm in my 20's and don't even have calluses. Every time I told the lady that I wanted the regular pedicure she argued with me and kept saying the callus remover one was better. Eventually after a few minutes of arguing, I gave in because I was in a rush. The woman that did my manicure was nicer, but must've not done that great of a job since my powder manicure literally only lasted a week. One of my nails fell off in the shower, so I decided to take the other ones off, which came off so easily. My sister goes to Lilly's all of the time and her nails usually last a few weeks so I don't know why mine didn't. My sister also kept getting told to choose the more expensive pedicure but she had the time to argue and another customer helped her tell the lady that she didn't want that pedicure option. I don't know if I will be going to this nail salon again. I am very disappointed and don't enjoy being pushed around. My pedicure and powder manicure cost $80! I mean don't get me wrong, I can afford it, but that is so much more than any other salon I've gone to! read more
