This has been my go to nail salon since 2013- however, Jess has been my go to Nail Specialist since 2007. I have never been happier with the outcome of my nails. She's patient, and caring as is Amy. If they are not available when I have time, I make time to work with them because perfection is important. After moving to LI, I have been hesitant to visit another salon fearing I won't get the same treatment and care. Ok so I went in for a gel manicure which should last a minimum of TWO weeks. I went Sunday and by Monday 8 of my nails peeled off completely. I called the place and they were kind enough to tell me to come right back to have them fixed. When I went in to fix my nails the lady said something in another language about my nails and said they peeled because of my nails. I was confused and asked what's wrong with my nails? She goes nothing it's fine. Said she had to leave it a little longer and she redid it free of charge. It was an inconvenience to come back as I am a new mom and getting free time is difficult. After she fixed my nails on Tuesday, they looked great... however by Thursday it came off again. I am so upset as this is the first time my nails were done in seven months & unfortunately I do not have the free time to go back again for a third time this week. I have this one star because they kindly fixed their mistake, however this SHOULD NOT keep happening. What a disappointment and waste of money.. It was another spa day for me and my niece who lives in OZP. I made an appointment here, based on the Yelp reviews and the pictures. It was nice to make our appointments with ease. My niece wanted just a regular manicure (possibly with tips) while I wanted a regular pedicure with callus remover and we were able to be squeezed in on their afternoon rotation. We arrived and were taken right away. My niece asked to get tips, and as sweet as she is she asked how much they were. $40 for tips is a bit pricey, but I told her she can get whatever she wants. I appreciated the other nail tech telling her not to get them as her nails were too short and that she should wait until next time. She got her mani and it came out pretty great. According to her, they were a little rough with cutting her cuticles, but that's always very tricky. My pedicure was pretty generic. My tech was a bit rough when it came to the callus removal and I kept flinching. But other than that, it was a pretty decent pedicure. Glad I tried this place out and will not hesitate to come back if I am in the area and need my nails done. read more

The person doing the pedi caused a scene in front of EVERYONE when she made a suggestion to color completely white the toes. When told they didnt like it they began to further state why the other color wouldnt suit the person. So offensive, i will never come back here. Same nail broke while turning my car steering wheel 1 day after getting it done. I came back got it fixed and broke again putting my son's sweater on him the same day. Mind you this is after paying 90.00 for a basic coffin set. I come back to fix it again and Jessica had no issues blaming me for the break in front of everyone. She didn't want to take accountability and then when I went to move my car in the parking lot to let someone else out, another customer came running back to tell me "you shouldn't come back here anymore because Jessica is inside telling everyone you're a Bitch" after addressing Jessica she proceeded to shout at me that I am in fact a bitch and that the nail break was my fault. We'll this is how it looked after she fixed it. And needless to say I will never go back there again. read more

I asked for white gel pedicure and I brought my own powder and they said it was a $15 surcharge just to put on a chrome powder that I brought in myself. The guy who did my pedicure was rough with me and the pedicure itself looked so bad and messy and translucent it still needed 2 more coats of polish. I went today (Monday) at around 11 and they didn't have any customers, so they took me immediately. Shortly after me at around 12 they started getting other customers, so I reccomend that if you're going to walk in they to come on a weekday. They took about an hour and a half to do my manicure and pedicure, and they came out exactly the way I wanted them. When I finished drying, the lady wrapped my pedicure in saran wrap so I won't mess it up when I wear my shoes afterwards. I have no complaints about either of my visits, I highly recommend! read more

Finally came back here earlier this summer to give this place another try. I had made a reservation. Great experience with my manicure and pedicure. Very pleased and decided when I left that I would be back. Fast forward to this past weekend. I walked in and asked for a pedicure, eyebrow and lip wax. I was put with a male technician. Normally I prefer to not have a male. Since they took me right away with no wait on a walk in I didn't think twice. It took 45 minutes for him to finish my pedicure! It was a regular pedicure with polish, not a spa pedicure, no extra 10 minute massage, nothing like that. As a matter of fact I don't think I got the standard foot/leg massage at all, just the lotion rubbed on my feet and calves. He was rough and it was not a relaxing or comfortable experience. He did do a good job with the polish application though. He brought the bill, forgetting about the waxes I asked for. When he remembered I told him no, I didn't have time and had to go. I ran out of time because of the 45 minute pedicure! DISAPPOINTING overall. Giving 3 stars as a balance between this and the prior experience. read more

I have been going to this salon for 2 1/2 years. I love coming here. You are treated with the utmost respect no matter who you are. I am appalled at a few of the negative reviews that I have read especially one that said they are racist that is a lie. I am a black older woman and I can tell you for a fact they are not. This definitely my new nail salon. I already sent 2 people there after I got mine done. The service is so great and the place is clean ! When I say clean I mean clean. I did a mani and pedi for $30 yes $30 amazing prices as well. I also go a 3 min massage as my nails were drying. Let's talk experience: As soon as I walked in I was greeted. I told them what I wanted they said okay have a seat someone will be right with you. Then 5mins later a lady greeted me and told me to pick a color. Then she walked me to the Pedi area, plastic in all the foot bowls massage chairs. Then after my pedi was over she then took my shoes to her mani station. As soon as we walked in they were staring at us like we didn't belong and once I asked for a full set for myself and a pedicure for my sister one lady immediately got up and said "do you have an appointment?" And we said no. Instead of kindly explaining they only take appointments she pointed us to the door just saying "no no no" very rudely. We could only help but think that their actions towards us was due to the color of our skin and after reading a few other reviews about this place it's fair to say we weren't wrong and they are definitely racist. I got a gel manicure and the tech that was doing my nails made my cuticle bleed. I don't remember her name, she was a little older than the other women. She didn't apologize, just dabbed a liquid on it that made it sting and kept going. Whatever, I didn't say anything, I let it go. I also usually get 3 coats for my gel mani and she was refusing to give me a 3rd coat until I insisted a couple times that the color was very light and I was able to see my natural nails underneath. She was hesitant and reluctant to do it, shaking her head as she finally put the third coat. That made me feel very uncomfortable and irritated as a customer. These women also will talk shit about you right in front of your face, in their language. So rude and disrespectful. You can understand tone in any language. This place was a million times better when it was under other management and called Nail Pro. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. The pedicure I received was decent but the gel manicure was the worst gel mani I ever got. I been getting gel for years and I know the procedure. The first step is to apply the primer coat to one hand and then expose to the UV light as you apply the coat to the other hand. This nail technician put the clear primer on ALL 10 of my fingers and then started pacing aroudn to find the machine. Then she didn't know how to turn it on. Shouldn't she have set up the machine before putting the primer on my nails? It gets worse. She literally painted my skin and cuticles. All my gel chipped and peeled after 3 days. My mom got SNS and they have such a small selection of colors. Majority of colors they did have were ugly. To top it off one of the girls asked my mom for more tip money because she tought she had to split her tip with the lady who did my nails. Clearly she jumped to conclusions considering I already tipped my lady prior to my mom tipping her lady. But even so, how could you have the guts to ask someone for more tip money?! NEVER GOING BACK EVER! read more
