Just after 12noon on a Friday I walked in to Moss for a gel manicure, it was quiet up front but a few women were getting pedicures further inside. I've lived in the neighborhood for years but this was my first visit- very cute & very clean I always get a black gel manicure with some sort of party nail, and this time I was going with something significant to my marriage in celebration of my anniversary next week. I showed the technician what I wanted and she said "Okay" and got to work. I was really impressed with how much cuticle she removed without hurting me but alas, I have strong nails and weak skin so one nail bed did get a tiny nip, which she quickly cleaned and sanitized!! No blood showed up in the final nail art When looking up this spot on Yelp before coming, I noticed there weren't too many photos inside and I wanted to include some. There is a ton of natural light up front where they do manicures, there are 5 stations total, but only 3 technicians were there when I was. There were pedicure chairs in the back of the salon separated by a small product shelf, and you can see two private rooms on the left side where they do waxing. The space is very clean and the front window is decked out for a photo session with lots of flowers and a mirrored telephone booth! Holding the phone is perfect for showing off your final nail look, take advantage Two appointments and four walk-ins came in looking to get nails or brows done while I was being taken care of and they had to ask people to return in a few hours, so they definitely get busy! OneFor a Gel Manicure with art on 2 nails, my total was under $45 before tip! Next time I come in, because I will be back, I'll remember to snag a photo of their service/pricing menu! read more

I'm not sure why the reviews are so negative. I was happy to find this place open on the 4th of July and they were super gracious in accommodating my request for mani/pedi at the same same time. I was trying to be very quick in order to not keep my husband waiting and was finished with both in under 30 minutes so I decided to get a bikini wax too. This place can be hit or miss. They do great manicures and pedicures that seem to last longer than other places of the same price range. Great color selection, gentle waxing services also. However, only walk-in when it's not too crowded, otherwise your "10 minute wait" might really be an hour. read more

You need to watch yourself here, or rather watch them. My 19 year old daughter went for a pedicure, and the woman asked her if she wanted a scrub. My daughter said okay. Then the woman asked if she wanted heel cream; my daughter said okay. In the end, my daughter was shocked when they told her she owed $59! They never told her that every thing they were adding on would cost her. I stopped going here myself when I saw the owner berate and fire a worker and refuse to pay her for the week. Love this place. Clean, you get seen pretty quickly and the women work diligently and professional. The owner, remembered me after years of not coming since I moved. I came in two wweks ago for my gels and she was like, "Its been so long. How's your mother?". Nice to have this place so close again. Thank you guys. read more

I really love this nail salon. I always get the woman (wish I knew her name. I should ask her the next time I go there!) who sits right by the door. Out of all the nail salons I've ever been to, she does my nails and eyebrows the nicest! She's really clean, thorough, and a sort of perfectionist when it comes to my nails. She also somehow manages to make my really dark, unruly, and sometimes quite scary looking eyebrows pristine, sharp, and beautiful nary a stray hair in sight. Not to mention the salon is very pretty, up to date, quiet, and clean. I am never disappointed when I come to this salon. Just make sure you come early or book an appointment. As aforementioned in previous reviews, a ten minute wait could easily become thirty minutes to an hour. While it's totally worth the wait if you have nothing else going on, do yourself a favor and book before just walking in. read more

This place is terrible. I came here for manicures the day before my wedding. I asked for a French shellac manicure and she told me $5 extra bringing the cost to $25. When it came time to pay to the woman told me it was $40 for the manicure. I was furious and couldn't believe how poorly we were treated, especially because it was the day before my wedding!! They are rude. I would not ever go here again. I went here several times. They are good at nails, but did a terrible job at waxing my legs. When I pointed out they were not done, I was just told the rest will not come off. What? What did I just pay for? After that I only went for nails, but I will never go there again, as I was a walk in, and patiently waiting for my turn, and then a walk in comes in after me, and because that person was a more regular customer, they took that person before me, and then told me that they did not have time to take me. i come for a brazillian and always ask for Maya. She does a great job, super quick, and pretty painless. The waxers are very gentle and do a really good job - but if you are looking to do any waxing "down there" - try to get maya. read more
