These ladies work so hard, 7 am sometimes to 4:30pm, a testimonial to what a beautiful job they do. I have never had to say anything they just know what looks good and the gel color lasts over 45 days. My nails grow quick but after 45 to 60 days you can not tell. I am sooooo angry!! This is job done to my daughter's nails. And was charged $30!! She told them they were terrible and asked for a refund and they refused!!! Told her they would only "fix" them. Basically told her that she could do what they wanted or get nothing. She works 2 jobs and rarely has time to do special things for herself. She doesn't even have time to get them redone. Bad! Just look at the photos I posted!! Does not have enough experience. She would not listen to me. I asked if she had a mirror so I could watch and give her input, but to no avail. Said it's normal to come back several times. I was in tears when I left. Then had to go back for a touch up?!! She used the wrong shade and had to use the dark brown, which I originally recommended, but she said it would be too dark. She ended up using dark brown which helped, but I ended up just getting the heck out of there. I'm going to let my very painful eyebrows heal, then I'll go to a real artist who knows what they are doing. My advice, don't come here!.. and ask to see their portfolio, as she did not have one. read more

I go there for tanning. The price is very reasonable. Currently $60 a month. No sign up fees or cancellation fees as it's month to month. They offer 2 types of beds, 1 standard clamshell type and an upgraded bed. The standard bed works well. The interior has been remodeled since I had my nails done there a few years back. I've never had a worse set of acrylics. They used half clear tips half white tips (I ended up asking them to paint underneath) and were really sloppy with their application of acrylic. Multiple beads of acrylic on one nail and then filed terribly. They even filed the sides aggressively AFTER they painted. They gave me a discount and it was still SO expensive. read more

The owners great, her sister the other lady is rough--but $75 for shellac color change with powder removal here in Shelton, sitting in chairs wrapped in contact paper is way over the top! I didn't want a spa pedi I wanted a color change, that's it! Put a bit of money into the salon and spruce your sisters techniques up and you could have one of the most lucrative salons in Shelton. I made an appointment for 2 at 4:30pm. We got there 5 min early. We were treated as if we were an inconvenience because we didn't want a full set. I scheduled an appointment for 2 manicures and 2 pedicures. I said I wanted a gel manicure on my natural nails. She didn't even do an actual manicure. She cut my cuticles dry, she filed my Nails and rushed me to the station with the UV lights because she scheduled someone else for a fill on her full set at the same time as my appointment. The lady walked in saying she just got off the phone with the technician to be seen at 4:30 too. The lady who did my nails just did the base coat and the polish and the other lady did the too coat. Then when my niece and I were done, they said cash or card like rushing us out. When we had an appointment for both mani and pedi. We just paid and left to go to another salon. My nieces nails aren't great. Her nail dip was rushed, it's blotchy and wavy. $30 and $46 dollars for them to only spend 15-20 minutes on us? No thank you. We will never be back. Don't treat customers like they are an inconvenience. Mine literally just had headphones in the whole time and barely tried to talk to me. It's like because I didn't want a full set I didn't matter as a customer. I will never recommend this place. I've been here twice for gel polish and facial waxing. They do a good job with the waxing and the polish itself but I'm not sure their removal method for the gel polish is the best possible way. I walked in with my mother. The first thing was "what you want?" Like wow I thought okay maybe it's because of her hard accent. Then my mom asked politely what kind of acrylic they use because my mom is allergic to something in a specific brand. So because this is a local business, I REALLY REALLY wanted to give this a higher review..but sadly I cannot. I will say, I was able to walk right in and get service which I did appreciate..that being said..it did take a long time to get a full set and a pedicure. Also, I found the place to be a bit "unkept" or just not as clean as I would love to see it for a nail salon. Baseboards were missing and paint coming off and just not a well put together environment..that always makes me worry about the cleanliness of the equipment. None of the tools used were kept in a sterile environment (from what I could see) and I just don't like that. I paid 68.00 for a set of acrylic nails and a pedicure. My nails are just OK..nothing amazing. My nails are also very sore tonight from the use of their drills which I find quite painful at times. Visiting from AZ, I needed repairs and a fill. Got there and sign said open at ten. I was early and waited. Another customer went in early so I followed. The place is older but appeared decent enough. They got me in right away. They were friendly, easy to understand and they did a good job. Would go back next time I am in the area and need a fill. Lily's is my favorite nail salon in town. Her and Serena are very friendly and funny. They have their quiet days but so do I. They work fast and good. I always call in so I won't have to wait but for acrylics I've never been there over an hour and always love my results. I also love getting my brows done by Serena. I've never gotten a pedi there before though. They are sisters but I do wish sometimes they'd hire another girl since their usually busy on weekends. read more

So I walk in, and after reading the reviews I expect an alright experience, but nope! I walk in and I'm not greeted with a "hello" or "how are you" I'm greeted with "what you want" so I tell them I'm just looking to get my eyebrows done. She says there's no time because they close at 6:30. It was 5:30. And it takes maybe 10 minutes to do eyebrows. I've been to salons with two girls working both with customers and could still fit me in before an hour and do a damn good job. I went to Lily's in Shelton to get my nails done because where I usually go was closed and Lily's had the highest reviews. Anyways I go there to get a fill and the lady started to take off all my nails and do a my nails a different kind of way and I said well this is different then how I usually get a fill and she said "this way better" so I said oh really ok and for the same price and she said no this $50 so right away I was like omg they are trying to freaking scam me by throwing something in my face that I didn't want or agree to so I was so upset that I told her to just stop there so I told her I would pay the 15 dollars that she said it was to take off my nails which I thought was overpriced but whatever so I handed her my card and I could hear her and lily speaking in Vietnamese (I think that's the language) and then the lady comes back and charged my card the full price and I told her I didn't agree to the way she did my nails and I didn't like them anyways and she said we don't do refunds. Was extremely rude by the way and there was a room full of customers so I was trying to keep my cool and Lily was just over the top disgusting with her customer service couldn't do anything to help me at all. They couldn't even give me the right prices they were back and forth with them so I knew I was caught in a situation where they had ripped me off. So I didn't sign the receipt because I never agreed to what they did and I called the police for being overcharged. Long story short I got my money back and I will never go there again and from now on I'm going to speak up when nail lady's are so pushy and try to do things without permission. It's not about the money it's about the way they just steal it from you. Worst nail experience ever! Thankful I received justice!
