Warning: I'm picky. But I think I'm fair. I have "old fashioned values", if that helps. We found Limbotomy because they left a card on our door. I saved the card, but didn't give it much thought. Our (not well liked) HOA notified us that we had a dead tree. Duh. We knew that. So I checked around for tree services. Nobody tripped my trigger until I called Jonah from Limbotomy. He sounded like "a nice guy" and knowledgeable. So I arranged for him to come out and do a walk-around with me. Note: He accommodated *my* schedule. I have (had) a "herd" of almost 20 aspen trees that needed trimming with about 6 that needed removal. [They're so nicely gone that I forget they existed and where they were.] Jonal turned out to be a "handshake" guy. No paperwork. No contract. Just human to human with a firm handshake. And as good as his word. No changes. No price bumps. Just solid. That is MY kind of person to do business with! His price was fair and I gave him the go-ahead. His crew came out and did a good job. Then I had him come out to look at a few items the crew missed and he "polished the diamond". Wow. It all came together. I admit to "not liking" aspen, but the whole lot of them look so much better now! My wife agreed and even said how nice he was and what a great job he had done. [That's rare praise, trust me.] I recommended him to a couple neighbors - and one had him out to do *his* herd of aspen. I also recommended him to a guy at work and that guy will be calling him up, also. Sitting on my patio looking at a former sore spot in my yard, I now smile at what a good looking corner of my property we now have. WOW! These guys are great! I have a huge 45 year old maple in my front yard that hadn't been professionally pruned in over 15 years. It was a hot mess of dead branches and overgrowth. Jonah and his crew just removed a large dead pine tree from my backyard. They did a superb job. They arrived right on time. They used a large tarp to haul the dead branches so there was no debris left in the yard. They used a leaf blower to clean my driveway and street and left the property spotless.
