My mother n law recently passed with Covid so rather not expose the crew to it but it seems they would rather get exposed and then pass to next group after us rather than return a phone call and cancel our trip . You get your option of two different pontoons that you yourself captain. Those two options are the pontoon with or without the two slides. We opted for without as it is easier to maneuver on days where it is windy. Both have a shaded canopy on deck, so you are not sitting in the sun the entire time. You can rent the radio and mat for the water and even take your dog. We have not rented any of these as we usually just bring our speaker. The other options are the length of time; you get a choice of 4 or 8 hours. We always opt for 4 because they is plenty of time. We booked our Crab Island cruise with this company on Get Your Guide. We arrived at the meeting…read moretime of 11:30 am for a 12 pm boat tour. We waited at the assigned kiosk for 15 minutes before we started calling the company to determine why no one was at the kiosk. We also messaged them from the app. The phone number was unanswered and hung up. No one responded to the message. One of the locals told us that there were people already boarding the boat at the end of the dock. We ran down there for the boat captain to tell us that he only had a private tour booked at 12. We showed him our booking on Get Your Guide and he said we would need to contact the company. At that moment the company called the person who booked the trip to tell them that the trip had been cancelled two days before the trip and they sent out a text message about it. Turns out the Booker of our group had put in the wrong phone number so we never got the message. And at the same time, the trip was never cancelled on Get Your Guide, as well as they had never refunded the money even after cancelling it. Essentially, they took our money, got a larger private booking so they cancelled ours and never tried to actually reach us to let us know via all avenues (not just text, the trip was still active on GYG). I think the worst part is that they cancelled it two days before the trip and put a private trip in our place. In summary this company is unreliable, sneaky and poor communication.
