My parents and I eat at this restaurant often, we love the food! It's unfortunate that last night, we received pretty terrible service. I know the World Cup game was on last night, so the woman who was taking orders at the front was a bit distracted - I get it. I just don't think it's fair that I accept the type of service I received last night just because the game was on. It is totally possible to watch the game AND do your job...just not for the employees last night. My parents ordered the chicken and fries plate, they always get that. They put their entire order to go, when they didn't order it to go. My parents kept saying "why did I pay this much to put my own meal together?" About 25 minutes passed by and my order, the feta fries, was not out. I went up to check on my order and the woman working said "sorry he forgot to make it." And I replied, "my family finished their meal already". She said "do you not want it anymore? He's almost done." So I waited another 5 minutes (I guess he wasn't almost done...) and my order was ready. No apology. Also how do you forget to cook a meal when it's literally your task? While I was waiting for my food, there wasn't a single person in line, and the woman who ordered shortly after me got her food right away. While my family sat there and waited for me to finish my meal (cause they already finished their's) the same woman who took my order and didn't apologize for the kitchen staff forgetting to cook food, went over to smog city to grab a seltzer and Micheladas for her and the other guys working. It is really unprofessional to be drinking on the job. I'm really disappointed by this whole experience because my family and I really like this place. After that bad experience, we won't be eating here again. I hope management addresses this with their staff. I arrived at Limoné Mediterranean (Glendora) on a rainy Monday (around 5:12PM). Parking is easy; I quickly found a spot. This business is located inside the Glendora Public Market Food Hall. Staff is professional and efficient. Staff quickly answered my questions, and Staff worked hard. This location received a steady flow of customers. Staff hands customers an electronic pager that buzzes when the food is ready. My meal took about eight minutes and 56 seconds. Quick!! As mentioned, I enjoyed the Harissa Steak Plate ($19.50). The steak is firm but not dry; it's juicy with a very faint, pleasant charred taste. The clean flavor of meat shines through! I especially enjoyed the drizzled harissa aioli sauce. This sauce tasted almost honey-like with a soft spice kick. YUM!! The salad is also clean. The jasmine rice arrived warm and fresh. And the laffa bread is firm yet fluffy. The baba gaboush was very wet and squishy, but it tasted clean. Regarding ambiance, Limoné Mediterranean (Glendora) is inside the Glendora Public Market Hall. The place had a good amount of customers! I am especially impressed with how the Glendora Public Market Hall appears more clean and maintained compared to past visits. Currently, it felt very comfortable! There's plenty of indoor seating. There's also two flat screen tv's and a tv projector nearby. The music is also bouncy. I visited Limon Restaurant, a Mediterranean cuisine spot inside Galendora Public Market, during a non-crowded time, so there was no line. I ordered their wings, and they were super flavorful, very distinct, with a heavy dill presence and a nice mix of spices. It wasn't too hot spicy , just a very unique flavor. If you're tired of standard options like lemon pepper, parmesan or Cajun, this is a great alternative. I do recommend starting with a small order, maybe 4 or 8 pieces, just to see if you like the taste, as it's pretty bold. I also got crispy fries, which were fantastic: fresh and really crisp. I also tried the cauliflower bites, and they were surprisingly delicious. again, a distinct taste, full of spices. I'm not exactly sure which country's cuisine this is from, but it was really unique, even if they label it Mediterranean. I would say try it, but again, just start small if it's your first time. I really enjoyed it, and I would go back though it's not an everyday stop for me, maybe every few months. My salmon plate looked really good and the seasoning for the salmon was on point. The salad and avocado were fresh, the tzatziki sauce was solid, and rice was delicious! Ordering food was easy: simply walk up to counter and place your order. The menu has several offerings from salads to wraps and platters. Once you've placed your order, you'll be given a pager that lets you know once your order is ready. I ordered the Grilled Salmon Wrap and upgraded my side of fries for the Feta Fries, and added a side of tzatziki and toom (garlic sauce). At first bite, I liked the salmon but as I continued to eat it, there was something off with the flavor. I barely even finished a quarter of it. I did enjoy the Feta Fries, which were more like Pepperoncini Fries than anything. If you like these yellow peppers, you would like this. It was such a huge portion that my friend and I agreed that it was made for sharing. The fries were really good on their own. And adding the toom with the peppers was "deee-lishh!" I've been a longtime customer of Limone Chicken. Our family orders from here at least twice a week, and we usually get the roasted chicken family meal. We love the flavor of the chicken and all of the sides, but what I will say is that the last few times we've ordered--at least the last five times--the chicken has made our stomachs really upset. I don't know if anything has changed in the cooking process. The flavor tastes the same, but every single time we eat it, we all get upset stomachs afterward. I can't begin to explain how much I loved the chicken shawarma plate. The meat was so tender and flavorful, the saffron rice was fluffy, and the hummus was gone before I knew it. I was told the laffa bread is made daily and I could taste the freshness of it. I was surprised that it was seasoned with spices and olive oil since bread tends to be served plain to let the entree shine. Their most popular is the Limoné chicken and fries and I could see why. It could feed two people with no problem with how massive the half-chicken is. They flash fry the chicken to give it an extra crisp and drench it in their chef's special sauce which was a little salty for my liking but it did add more flavor. What I can't stop thinking about though is the feta fries. I'm not typically a huge french fry fan so I don't order it as an entree or even as a side usually. BUT these are an exception. The outside was so crispy and the inside was fluffy and the combination of those two textures was addicting. I kept reaching for more without thinking about it. It was my first time at Limone and I decided to order the Limone Chicken & Fries, Chicken Shawarma wrap, and a Strawberry-Basil Lemonade. The Limone Chicken & Fries is a huge portion, honestly it's big enough to share with two people. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The sauce that they provided for the chicken on the side was delicious. The fries were so crispy, even with me taking them to go they didn't get soggy. The side of pickled cabbage was a nice tangy bite of acidity. The Chicken Shawarma wrap was a lot more filling than I expected it to be. It came with a huge portion of fries. The laffa bread on the wrap had a good grilled flavor to it and the texture with soft and chewy. The Strawberry-Basil Lemonade was so refreshing, it reminded me of the drinks they serve at Cava which are my favorite. It was a cousin date day. We decided to head over to the Glendora Market Place and tried the Mediterranean place there and got the Limone Chicken and shared. It was the perfect amount of food. It was all full of amazing flavor. I could have done without the pickled cabbage. And we added to small little sides of hummus. The hummus was underwhelming. It was very bland. I needed to add some of the garlic sauce to it to give it some flavor. With the amount of seasoning on the fries, they were absolutely delightful. Not too salty at all. Even with the added sauce from the chicken it was so good. I also ordered a culver mint lemonade which was also delightful. I am more beverage than food and I wish they had bigger beverage sizes.
