Food is tasty but missing something....i can't pinpoint what exactly it's missing maybe more seasoning? The fries were yummmyyy, perfectly seasoned and fresh. they also sell a very yummy kombucha. Would definitely come back to try other things!

Honestly I love this place but the steak was a little too well done today.. I'm not sure if that's all the time but this Thursday night I was like ehhh. Not bad tho. The music vibes friends and beer made it all good. Steak fries were AMAZING and the garlic sauce that comes with it wow I wish the steak plates came w the garlic sauce bc that is game changer. I had to go and buy two more sauces bc I wanted more... The cashier wasn't too friendly- it prevented me from wanting to approach the counter, maybe she was having a bad day but dang really felt she like she hated being there... or I was the worst person in the world I also love their cookies I bought 3 of them Togo. This was for three of us and we couldn't finish it! So big! Will def ask for steak to be more tender and I'm buying a tub of garlic sauce! Yum!

I had a lovely experience at Limoné Mediterranean (Glendora). I ordered the Harissa Steak Plate ($19.50). It's sliced, juicy steak drizzled with harissa aioli sauce, fresh saffron rice, laffa bread, wet baba ganoush, and salad. It's delicious!! I arrived at Limoné Mediterranean (Glendora) on a rainy Monday (around 5:12PM). Parking is easy; I quickly found a spot. This business is located inside the Glendora Public Market Food Hall. Staff is professional and efficient. Staff quickly answered my questions, and Staff worked hard. This location received a steady flow of customers. Staff hands customers an electronic pager that buzzes when the food is ready. My meal took about eight minutes and 56 seconds. Quick!! As mentioned, I enjoyed the Harissa Steak Plate ($19.50). The steak is firm but not dry; it's juicy with a very faint, pleasant charred taste. The clean flavor of meat shines through! I especially enjoyed the drizzled harissa aioli sauce. This sauce tasted almost honey-like with a soft spice kick. YUM!! The salad is also clean. The jasmine rice arrived warm and fresh. And the laffa bread is firm yet fluffy. The baba gaboush was very wet and squishy, but it tasted clean. Regarding ambiance, Limoné Mediterranean (Glendora) is inside the Glendora Public Market Hall. The place had a good amount of customers! I am especially impressed with how the Glendora Public Market Hall appears more clean and maintained compared to past visits. Currently, it felt very comfortable! There's plenty of indoor seating. There's also two flat screen tv's and a tv projector nearby. The music is also bouncy. The location also felt surprisingly shiny and fresh. There's also a nearby restroom; the restroom code sits on the counter. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at Limoné Mediterranean (Glendora). The food is tasty, well-prepared, and fresh! If searching for Mediterranean food, this is an easy recommendation. 4.9 out of 5

Ordered to go. Friendly staff. Food was ok. Generous portions. It's located in the Glendora public market so you definitely have options for food, drinks and sweets.

I visited Limon Restaurant, a Mediterranean cuisine spot inside Galendora Public Market, during a non-crowded time, so there was no line. I ordered their wings, and they were super flavorful, very distinct, with a heavy dill presence and a nice mix of spices. It wasn't too hot spicy , just a very unique flavor. If you're tired of standard options like lemon pepper, parmesan or Cajun, this is a great alternative. I do recommend starting with a small order, maybe 4 or 8 pieces, just to see if you like the taste, as it's pretty bold. I also got crispy fries, which were fantastic: fresh and really crisp. I also tried the cauliflower bites, and they were surprisingly delicious. again, a distinct taste, full of spices. I'm not exactly sure which country's cuisine this is from, but it was really unique, even if they label it Mediterranean. I would say try it, but again, just start small if it's your first time. I really enjoyed it, and I would go back though it's not an everyday stop for me, maybe every few months. The staff were nice Just a heads-up: there's no refill on fountain drinks, and there's no water station either, so if you want water, you'll need to ask the server for a small cup. But overall, it's a great place with a fresh, bold flavor, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a try!

I was visiting friends in Glendora and decided to come here for lunch. This place is located inside the Glendora Marketplace Food Hall. Ordered Chicken Shawarma plate. Added extra Garlic Aioli Watermelon Lemonade The chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy and flavorful. The plate was plentiful and filling. Friendly Service and fast service. Ambiance is nice and clean.

I came to Glendora Public Market for the first time and Limone Mediterranean caught my eye. I went up to counter to order and the guy taking my order was nice and efficient. I decided to get the salmon plate after quick deliberation. I waited about like 10-15 minutes for my order and then the buzzer they gave me rang, and I went up to get my order. My salmon plate looked really good and the seasoning for the salmon was on point. The salad and avocado were fresh, the tzatziki sauce was solid, and rice was delicious! The plate was a little pricey, like $21 before tax and tip, but the quality was really good. I definitely would like to try their chicken shawarma plate next time.

Located in the market, limone was one of the few vendors we were interested in. We got the hummus plate to share which I loved! It wasn't just raw veggies but they seasoned it which made it extra flavorful. Also some of the best pita bread I've had. The chicken platter was also delicious. Best fries and sauce - so crispy even though it was drenched! The chicken itself was tasty but I can understand how some would find it dry. It's just the style - the meat itself is not dry - just not the most tender. The skin is dry/crispier but that's how it's supposed to be! Perfect for sharing.

Chicken Shawarma Plate. Great portion of chicken with soft laffa bread.

My go-to restaurant in the Glendora Public Market: I would definitely recommend the Chicken Shawarma plate which comes with a side of hummus, saffron rice, salad and their laffa bread. They put this sweet/mustardy sauce on top of the very tender chicken that really adds to the flavor. Their laffa bread too - so soft and buttery; it really sets it apart from the usual pita bread and this is the component I crave the most. If you're feeling more indulgent, the zatar fries are so well cooked and crispy and getting the feta fries is also a solid choice.

I enjoyed both the Chicken Shawarma wrap, and the Salmon Wrap I ordered from this spot. The young man that took our order was pleasant and very confident that I would be please with my selections. The food was fresh and the taste was consistent with the Mediterranean flavors I am use to. However, I just wish that the wraps stood out a bit more. Meaning, I wanted to be left with a desire to return. Not that I won't, but I'm still waiting for that one Mediterranean spot that stands out, where I am willing to drive the distance to get the exact savor I'm searching for. The restaurant was nice, and it appeared to be very clean. It is definitely worth the visit.

Nothing crazy out of this world but a nice fresh option for those on a lunch break or busy day & you don't want chain food. Pros: great spacious dining atmosphere & HUGE portions. All ingredients tasted super fresh. Cons: the steak was pretty tough to chew through. Would have liked it to be more tender & juicy. The place itself is a spacious food hall that's great for studying or a quick lunch break.

I ordered their wings with spicy buffalo chermoula sauce and homemade ranch dressing. The buffalo sauce isn't traditional buffalo sauce but it was amazing and also paired well with the celery and carrots. The girl at the counter is super nice and provides great service. The restaurant is inside the Glendora Marketplace and is well lit and welcoming.

    Food very dry?

    Food is definitely not dry!

Are you really charging $20 for a chicken plate? Is this for a whole chicken family size?

It's $24 for a half chicken platter. In my opinion, it's enough for 2-3 people and it's delicious.

My husband and I usually order take-out, but on our recent visit, we decided to dine in. We arrived on a Sunday evening (5pm). Parking is shared with other businesses in the plaza. We found one in the shade. The restaurant is small, but they utilize their space well. There are 4 tables and I believe 3 high-top tables as well as outdoor seating. The interior is well-kept and decorated nicely to match the Greek theme. Ordering takes place at the counter, no self-serve kiosk. They have many menu options like sides, gyros, plates, kids menu, family meal, lunch specials, soups, and desserts. My go-to item is their Greek Chicken Pita with Lemon Sauce in place of the tzatziki ($13). I would sometimes order this with a side of fries, but my husband got it in his combo. The reason I order this all the time is because the pita not only tastes amazing, it's also filling! There's grilled chicken, potatoes, pickled onions, greens, and lemon sauce. The pita is thick and has the perfect chew to it. There is so much flavor in every bite! The fries were delicious as well. They were soft on the inside and crisp and seasoned well on the outside. Overall, a great spot for Mediterranean food. I would happily recommend this to anyone!

We stopped by this past Sunday a little after 3 PM and were invited to sit anywhere inside. It took a little bit of time to get our menus but that was no problem for us. Here's what we ordered: **Spicy Lebni Plate: We were between this and the tzatziki but ultimately went with the spicy lebni plate because it's something we haven't seen before. We ended up dipping every single thing we had on our table in this dip. With that being said, this was BOMBDOTCOM. (5/5) **Soujouk Boreg: I've had a take on soujouk boreg once so I don't know what a good one is supposed to be like but I'm guessing this is it. This was one of the most delicious savory pastries I've ever had in my life. The meat was tender, juicy, and full of flavor! (5/5) **Fried Cauliflower: Extremely zesty although, I would've liked to see some lemon wedges on the side for those that want just a little bit more. The hummus dip they served with this was good but was amazing with the spicy lebni. One of the best cauliflower dishes I've had to date. (5/5) **Combo for Two: The chicken kebab was borderline juicy and dry but had very good flavor. The beef kebab cooked medium was amazing. The lule kebab was slightly gamey and very salty. The charred pepper was very delicious and I highly recommend you eat it with everything else on the platter. The rice was a little on the saltier side but once you eat everything with pita bread, it's more tolerable. Great dish overall but not spectacular like the others. (4/5) **Jallab: I love trying drinks from different cultures. I was told this was on the sweeter side but I ordered it anyways because it sounded very intriguing. I'm generally not a fan of floral flavors but the mix of rose water, grape molasses, and dates was very refreshing and delicious. Very refreshing and a perfect combo with our meal. (5/5) Overall, great flavor and affordable prices. Everything we had was so delicious but that spicy lebni plate was a massive gamechanger. Definitely ordered too much for two people but we ended up finishing everything besides some pita bread. All that food was just under $90 which was very surprising. If you want to save more, you can pay cash to pay a little over 3% less. The only downside was the slow service at times. It took significantly long to receive our menus and our check at the end. Mr gf was not offered any refills for her coke. We did however, receive one refill for our water during our meal. I usually dock a star for lack of service but honestly, the food was just so amazing that I couldn't do that. I hope management sees this review because this place would easily be my new favorite restaurant if the service was as good as the food quality. This is by far one of the best Mediterranean spots we've ever had. I 100% recommend The Diplomat Junior and we will be back soon!

Disclosure: I've enjoyed Mediterranean cuisine ever since I attended elementary school on the UCLA campus in the early '80s and would get after-school Falafels or Shawarma wraps at the eponymous Falafel King in Westwood Village. Suitably armed with 40-pls yrs of dining experience amid the vast Syrian/Lebanese diaspora, what's a common complaint that grouchy naysayers may wanna level at Mediterranean fare? "Ohh, but all they serve are chicken/beef shawarma, falafel balls and lamb gyros! Not enough varieties of protein!!" [I've fielded this complaint from my grown kids for a few years now] Well- Leave it to your enterprising and innovative Uncle Omar to solve that complaint!!! These new brisket wraps are a wondrous hybrid of Mediterranean housing (the flaky but firm Shrek wrap) and All American (B-R-I-S-K-E-T!!) filling. The caliber of the brisket is top notch. Pull apart tendrils of low and slow cooked beef, sumptuously moist but not overly wet. Well seasoned but not deluged in 'cue sauce that obscures the unctuous beefy flavor... Commingle the brisket, lovingly slow cooked for sixteen hours, with diced onions, succulent tomatoes, Persian pickles and their strong-as-a-Rocky-Balboa haymaker garlic sauce...and you've got yourself a crave-worthy, eminently edible new addition to the Family! The ambiance at Abu Omar remains nonpareil. Luminously clean prep area openly visible so the OCDs among us can see their meal lovingly prepared; Sunburnt burgundy brick walls offset by striking Route 66 imagery; Floors so clean you COULD probably get away w/ the "5 second its still edible" rule we usta summon as kids. The service etiquette of Owner Wissam Shloul and his small but devoted staff is exemplary. Great food, meticulously fabricated while you wait. Pro Tip- Need your Mediterranean fix late at night? Fuggetabout "banker's hours," Abu Omar keeps hospital or casino hours! They're open til 1am, nightly. My meal was $19.01 with taxes.
