I was actually a bit afraid at first since some reviews say that the portion sizes are small, but it seemed to be fair to be honest. Anyways, the Double Shawarma Arabi here is great, but you have to get it with the pickle, onion and tomato. Also highly recommended with the Shrak bread. 5/5. I probably want to try the Italian style next, as that is the version I had received from Gemuse in Houston, although the portion seems to be half the size here. But beggars can't be choosers in SoCal. It seems like Abu Omar and Doner G are the most authentic places if you want shawarma / doner around SoCal in my opinion. This place has really good shawarma, the line is long for a reason, longest line at the festival is at Abu Omar's, and it's not chance, it's fate. It's important to show support to our Arab businesses and community as it's more than abu Omar , it's a team of hard working men putting in 110% effort to make the best shawarma for their customers. They tolerate the heat and the smoke from the flames to give us the best tasting meat and that should be acknowledged and I respect that very much. The beef shawarma tasted really good really fresh and the taste is unreplicable they put their pride on the line to give their customers the most flavorful succulent tasting shawarma, the tahini and spicy dips were my favorite condiments! As a Lebanese, this was great but could be even better if they added fries in the wrap (it's a Lebanese thing). I'll definitely be back, especially since it's open late.
