This place has really good shawarma, the line is long for a reason, longest line at the festival is at Abu Omar's, and it's not chance, it's fate. The shrak bread kept everything together well, since it wasn't falling apart with each bite. This was a 4/5 and consider it a solid option. They provided two sauces that tasted great with the shawarma. This is located in a plaza with lots of parking spots. But be prepared as it did get busy at around 6:00 pm. We bought the plate that was supposed to be filled with chicken kabob and another that was supposed to be filled with beef kabob , once we got our meal we started eating but realized that the meal had 70% rice, 20% veggies and 10% meat/chicken. Abu Omar came to the rescue when we got really hungry during a bike ride. Ordered the Ariba which was a crispy wrap of chicken shwarma with a side of fries for $16.99. The crispy wrap was very unique and the sauce and pickle vegetables in the wrap made it super tasty and unique. Also comes with garlic sauce as their motto is: our love language is garlic! Can't be mad at a place that uses shrak bread for their wraps. It's so much better in regard to flavor and it gives the right crunch exterior while staying soft and chewy inside. We got the chicken shawarma wrap and the beef Arabi (it's basically a wrap they cut up and it comes with fries). As a Lebanese, this was great but could be even better if they added fries in the wrap (it's a Lebanese thing). I'll definitely be back, especially since it's open late. Big spacious seating inside with self service soda if you get the cup. Come give them a shot, I know they seem to miss the mark with service but there was only one employee working when I came on a Friday night. It's a shame I have to give a 1 star review because I actually liked the food here. Been here 2 times previously ordered online both times for the bogo. First time I ordered the chicken kabob and when I got to the store to pickup, they didn't even make it because it didn't go through their system. I didn't mind waiting so I asked if they could just make the order. They tell me that they were out of chicken kabob and rice. Great, so I ordered something else no big deal. Second time ordering was smooth, got the food I wanted and really enjoyed it! No problems there would definitely be adding this place to the dinner rotation, I thought. Third time, I placed the online order at 6:22pm then arrive at the store at 6:45 or so. I get to the counter and let the person behind the register know I was picking up an online order. Gave him my name and showed the order confirmation and email and he said it didn't come up in their system. Same excuse as the first time. But he did say that they received email confirmation. Whatever, I'm hungry so I'll just wait in my car for the food. He comes out to tell me that they actually did receive the order but morning shift(???) tried to contact me to tell me they ran out of chicken kabob at 6:23pm. I received NO missed calls from the time I ordered and even double checked that I did indeed provide the correct phone number. This seems to be a frequent occurrence and needs to be addressed on their website or system. For anyone considering ordering online just make sure you call to confirm they've received your order and can actually make it before you arrive. read more
