Keeping this one simple: When Limon first arrived in town I ate there often and got take out whenever I could afford. Affordable prices, kind people, delicious food, and ENORMOUS serving sizes. Fast forward to now and I'm crushed to say that this place is not the same. Two out of the last three times I got take out there they either gave me the wrong meal entirely (despite my name being on the bag) and they let out parts of the meal. The first time I called them about it they were completely unsympathetic, told me a was looking at the "wrong" menu (I was looking at the menu on their website), and said if I wanted it fixed I would have to drive down and they would not refund me for their error and to honor the trouble I was now expected to undergo for their mistake. The second time they again demanded I drive down, but this time they said, well, since they had left out food then I could "ask for extra" next time. The worst part? The meal that they botched up wasn't even good. Their food quality seems to fluctuate between fresh and then stale, almost frozen/thawed. Their platter sizes have shrunk significantly (their desserts most obviously) and they now give you much smaller amounts of vegetables and side sauces. With all the charming new places in Hellertown I don't think I'll miss Limon. But I'm sad to see that they are no longer the same restaurant that opened here a couple years ago. read more

I love this place. I miss it so much at the moment. Favorite thing to do on a sunny Saturday is ride on the rail/trail with my hubby and stop in to Limon for lunch. Hands down the best grape leaves I've ever had and I think I've tried them from about 5 different places now. Everything was bursting with flavor! Stopped by on the way home from the mountains. We were just looking for a home cooked meal in a casual environment. Just happened to be driving by and decided to check it out. Very quaint and comfortable. The ladies were very sweet and answered all of our questions. Food was out quick and served hot. The salad that comes with the entrees is so light and refreshing. The food is fine, but not refined. An illustrative example is onions, whether in a salad or in cooked food, they always included the small, bitter end core. Nasty As far as service, it includes underage children that would violate child-labor laws if they weren't relatives. Some people find this charming and appealing, but I'm not a fan. Excellent Mediterranean food. We stopped by 15 or 30 minutes after 3:00 on a Tuesday, and even though the menu stated wraps only until 3:00, they were pleased to take our wrap order ( I wish more restaurants would be reasonably flexible!). We shared a lentil soup (100% vegetarian / vegan) and a falafel wrap. Both were delicious and full of flavor, although the soup was a bit too salty. We will definitely return! read more
