Absolutely fantastic. 4 of us went to Limon on a Saturday night. Unassuming interior, but very clean and welcoming. Very glad we booked a table since the place was busy. Wonderful, helpful, happy staff. Epic quantities of top quality food. The couple with us had traveled extensively through Turkey and were blown away by both the authenticity and the quality. We ordered what the waitress warned us might be an obscenely large amount of food...it was, but was so good that it got finished. The sauteed liver, falafel, and dumpling appetizers, as well as the grilled meats were all high points, but honestly, there were no low points at all. Desserts were excellent. Limon immediately gets into my top 5 Lehigh Valley restaurants. Truly fantastic. read more

Our favorite restaurant in the area! Delicious authentic Turkish food. Their lamb, chicken and turkish meatballs are full of flavor. We had the combo platters with different meats served with bulgar or rice. Desserts are amazing, we had the kunefe (unique and very good) and kazandibi(like creme brulee). We went for the first time last night and ordered takeout. I was a little hesitant - I like ethnic foods, but wasn't that familiar with Turkish cuisine. We ordered somewhat mainstream, a Mediterranean salad, chicken shish kebap entree, and Manti entree (pasta pockets filled with meat, in a garlic sauce). It was all FANTASTIC! Fresh flavors, great textures, The chicken was cooked perfectly (kebaps are often so dry!), the Manti is hard to compare with anything except maybe ravioli crossed with gnocchi - but fluffier or softer. Very unique!. Sauce was delicious, interesting and very flavorful. We love garlic so be mindful it's prominent in dishes that say garlic. Our bill was about 36 with the 2 entrees and small salad, but either of these entrées could easily have been shared by two people. They each came with small sides of rice and salad, so our Mediterranean salad was probably redundant. We ate it anyway lol. So fresh and tasty. Additionally, upon learning that this was our first visit to Limon, the gentleman and woman who were gathering my order (I am assuming maybe the owners, though not sure) graciously gave me a sample of their baklava to have for dessert. I shared that I was familiar with baklava because my mother made it (the Greek way). They said oh yes, well this is different, this is the Turkish way. Well....wow. When we ate it, my husband said "this is better than baklava," and I said because it's made the Turkish way and they use pistachio, and he said "that and there's way less nut and more flaky goodness." Indeed. One addendum, if ordering takeout, our one dish leaked a bit and it was rather oily so make sure you have paper or plastic underneath the carry bag. Go and enjoy! A gem of a find in Hellertown. It's great to finally see new diverse food available in the area and it's heavenly tasting to boot. Zuhal, Tülin, Murat, Mehmet & Ahmet are such a wonderful family and make us feel like we're with family when we visit. Nothing quite like eating homecooked food with people that feel like family. The food is absolutely delicious. Probably some of the best humus and falafel I've ever had. There's wonderful vegan options and you'll leave full and smiling. They're really good about listening to their customers: I suggested tahini and they got it. They really listen and care. I'm so glad to see that they just opened recently and are already getting tons of business, cause once you taste their food you want to come back and the constant stream of eaters proves it. Veg options- mercimek kofte was not my favorite as the cool red bean puree did not blend well with the other flavors, however falafel wrap 4/5. This place was amazing. Super authentic. The hummus was mind blowing. So rich and creamy, nothing like the boring, bland stuff at the grocery. The lamb sausage was amazing and accompanying salad so bright and fresh. Even the bulgur wheat side was delicious. My 7-yr old thought we were going to poison him with the baklava, but once he tried it he couldn't get enough. As great as the food, the staff is even better. Super sweet and gracious. I had the best lamb shish kebap ever! The lamb was marinated perfectly and so tender. The entree came with rice and a salad both which complemented each other. The owner was so so nice !
