    Fried green tomatoes

I was looking forward to trying this place what a let down door dashed a few items, The honey garlic wings were very good and my wife had the pulled pork was great to but the one item I was excited for the fried green tomatoes were not fried long enough the batter was not seasoned at all the Mac n cheese was bland and the coleslaw had absolutely no flavor and the mozz sticks were nothing great.

Had high hopes for the Limp Lizard. I was out in Syracuse and wanted to give it a try as I had heard good things about the food. Might have been better if there was BBQ sauce on my sandwich or in my to go order. I had asked for the sauce on the side with this being a take out order. Also, asked for salt and utensils. I got no sauce, no salt, and no utensils. Bun was soggy and pork without sauce was ok but had very little taste. Best part of meal were the fries. Disappointed. Will probably try again but not as a take out order.

Yum! I cannot speak for service at all because we did carry out (which was super fast and packaged nicely); however, this is some good barbecue! My husband and I both had the bbq brisket and wow! It was tender, flaky, moist, and flavorful, but the sauce and smoke wasn't overpowering - you could enjoy the taste of the brisket! It was a generous portion and you get two sides. I really wanted cornbread but they were out for the night (bummer, maybe next time), but the sweet potato fries were really good. The roasted corn was nothing special but wasn't bad and my husband enjoyed the chili. Definitely will visit again next time we are in town! Dare I say, I might prefer this to the brisket at Dinosaur BBQ

Ah, Limp Lizard. My sister and her family and I often come here on warm summer nights and afterwards walk over to Big Dip for some ice cream. Today, I took my nieces, who have returned here many times. Primarily because their mother loves this place so much; she was actually the one to get me hooked. Now, I won't compare this to a certain well known other BBQ place (ahem Dinosaur BBQ), because even though Limp Lizard also has their own BBQ sauce and entrees, I see these two restaurants as entirely different. Limp Lizard offers southwestern/Tex-mex/BBQ style cuisine. There are burgers, corn bread, fries, red potato salad, salads, onion rings, ribs, jambalaya, chicken, beans, etc. My one niece who used to love the mac and cheese, but claims the recipe changed (I agreed after trying it today. It reminds me of kraft, not terrible! But she doesn't like the new one as much) had the chicken tenders and a side of mac and cheese (rather than her usual full entree). My other niece and I split the Philly cheesesteak, sweet potato fries, and mac and cheese. I have actually been craving their Philly cheesesteak. We also all ordered the bottled Saranac Shirley Temples. There were so many chicken tenders my niece couldn't finish them on her own, and she gave some to each of us. Even though my other niece and I split a meal, it was more than enough. Although, I do think the cheesesteak could have been filled more with meat, as the bread to meat ratio was a little disproportionate. My niece's chicken tenders were basic. I actually told my two nieces who are 14 and 16 yo, that I was so perplexed to how Chick Fil A does fried chicken so well. Limp Lizard's tenders were perfectly fine, but not ones I will remember. I would prefer Tully's. One let down was that I believe they changed their recipe for BBQ sauce. I used to practically drink their original recipe, but something tasted off about the BBQ sauce I had today. The one I remember from past occasions was vinegary, tangy, thin, and had a reddish tone. Whereas this one was thicker and not as flavorful. They have a wide selection of drinks and desserts. Lots of fun Saranac carbonated soft-drinks, beers--Coronas--and pies. I really love Limp Lizard and I am so happy there are multiple locations in case I'm out in Liverpool or near another location. This Limp Lizard also does delivery! Overall not disappointed, but I feel like my past occasions have proven better food.

Me and the boyfriend went there this evening the food was great the fish was bigger than what I expected mac and cheese and the baked beans were so good not the ones you buy in the can. I would go back there again!

This is unacceptable, rancid black bean salad. This made my office gag as soon as I opened this.

I stopped in on wing Wednesday, and boy, oh boy, was I in for a treat. On Wednesdays, their wings are .75 cents per wing, a minimum of 10 per order. So, in true foodie fashion, I decided to order some for "now and later." I chose their Val wings, Salt & Pepper, and Korean BBQ. We also ordered a Cheesesteak, I had been told by 2 people that this was the best cheesesteak in town, and I just had to try it for myself. Let's start with their wings. Are they a great value ? Yes! Were they amazing? Also, yes! These wings were simply great. Great size, great flavor profile, just great across the board! I can't imagine coming here and not ordering their wings. So good! You're probably thinking, well, what about the cheesesteak... well, I can assure you that the 2 people who suggested I try it did not steer me wrong. This cheesesteak was delicious!!! Full of tender steak, toppings, and loaded with cheese just how I love it. To make matters even better on Tuesdays, you can order a loaded cheesesteak & fries for only $8. The Old Ledge is truly a hidden gem. Great atmosphere, amazing bar staff, and a phenomenal cook!

They were also so kind to give me a complimentary glass of prosecco to celebrate my birthday. Wednesdays are $2 off all cider and wines so my friends enjoyed that deal as well. The Wedge changes their menu on a weekly basis so I was excited to see what was on this weeks menu so naturally we had to get multiple dishes to share in order to try as much as possible. We ordered two pasta dishes, truffle fries for the table, and brussel sprouts to share family style and we didn't leave a crumb behind! All the dishes were more unique than a typical pasta dish you may find elsewhere which was extra fun and soo delicious! The brussels were so soft and topped with so much flavor. I would love to come again to try their brunch menu and continue coming throughout the year to try many new items as their menu rotates. I really wanted to try their mac and cheese so I am determined to come back at the right time for that one!

My hubs ordered the petite prime rib and a baked potato and I went with the salmon and also a baked. We opted for cups of soup in leu of the side salads because lettuce is a current concern in the US. Soup was delicious. My meal of salmon was incredible! My husband's prime rib was so fatty! Higher ratio of fat than meat. We informed our waitress who sent over the manager who kindly offered to rectify the problem. He decided to go with the salmon instead and enjoyed it as much as I did. Staff was friendly, apologetic and attentive. Not sure why these overall reviews aren't higher.

Pretty fair for the size and quality. 6 dollars for a shake kinda surprised me too, albeit I didn't order one. Server was nice. Place was probably overstaffed, but pretty great experience overall. The calm ambiance and muted, cinnamon-brown walls of the space's predecessor, Cafe at 407, which closed at the end of 2023, have been replaced with TVs in the dining area and bar, a wall-length mural and a little nook with a neon sign that reads "Say Cheese!" and Polaroids of satisfied customers pinned to the wall. The menu taps into childhood fast food nostalgia, with burgers, fries, onion rings and milkshakes -- plus beer, wine, cocktails and boozy sodas. With five burgers, two chicken sandwiches, two salads, a few shareable starters, Fly Bird chicken tenders, a Chicago-style glizzy and a fried fish sandwich served only on Fridays, the menu isn't long, but offers enough variation to appeal to most diners. The wife and I stopped in on a Saturday right at opening time. We were sat and given menus immediately. We decided to share a burger and fries and an order of tenders. We ordered the blue suede shoes - a burger topped with cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, carmelized onions, pickles and house remoulade and an order of hot stuff buffalo tenders. Our food was brought relatively quickly and we enjoyed everything. Fries were fresh, crispy and seasoned, burger was cooker perfectly, the tenders were fresh, crispy, saucy and had just the slightest kick of heat to them. Our server was very friendly and helpful, prices were comparable to similar restaurants, and we has plenty of food to bring home. We'd definitely go again.
