Chicken Critter Salad
Cyndi H.

The chicken critter salad is my go-to and I love the fresh made ranch dressing! I hear their fresh made blue cheese is good too and last time I went I had their Caesar which was excellent. Critters are still warm which I enjoy on the cold salad which comes with bacon, cheese, hard boiled egg, purple cabbage, lettuce, and tomato. I have to be pretty hungry to eat the whole salad. $2 off M-Th between 4 and 6 along with a number of other items in the menu. Service is always cheerful, helpful, and attentive. One of our go to spots yet we always forget to place call ahead seating. Maybe one of these days....

We went here on a Friday at 5pm with 2 children and a senior citizen. They told us it would be a 25-30 minute wait, which can be an eternity with small children. Luckily we only ended up waiting 5 minutes which was a relief. This place is perfect for people with small children because the peanuts and entertainment help parents eat their meal in peace. Our waiter, Ethan, was wonderful an patient with our toddlers and senior. The food was really good. I ordered the chicken critter salad, and my kids enjoyed the chicken fingers which were good. The others both had a steak and they were happy were their meals. The food came quickly and was hot and tasty. Definitly recommend.

Good food served with a smile! Very reasonable prices. Convenient location too. See Y'all again!

I've been to this location a few times now, and have been happy with the overall experience. We've been seated promptly and the service has been quick, which is a nice plus considering how short staffed some restaurants are these days. Sometimes chain restaurants can vary wildly in the quality of the food, but the food here has been consistently good to great. My husband likes his steaks cooked medium and they always come out cooked perfectly and seasoned well. We've ordered many items off the menu and have had no complaints. The food comes out hot and and the portions are large; many meals are big enough to bring half home for a second meal. As with all restaurants of this type, most items are sodium bombs, but you're not eating here for low calorie meals, lol. Prices are reasonable and they have lunch specials most days so you have a cheaper option if you'd like.

It's a cool spot- restaurant on the ground floor, and upstairs they sell different things made locally, and also clothes. It was fun to walk around while the food was being made. Our server was Kara, and she was awesome! My nephew has a peanut allergy so she was checking in on the entire order and sides to be sure we were in the clear! She was so helpful and friendly, even when there was an issue it wasn't a giant deal. My nephew and I started out by looking at the protein shake menu. I chose the green goddess protein shake, and he went with the cocoa Berry. Let me just say that mine was so good I finished it quickly. Nephew ordered the garlic sweet chili hummus appetizer to start. It came with freshly cut pita quarters, carrots, and strips of yellow and red peppers. Fresh, crunchy, hummus was absolutely addictively delicious and more than enough to share! He then got the pesto panini, my older brother ended up landing on the Italian panini (they sold out of the corned beef). He also got the soup special, stuffed cabbage soup and that looked really delicious and piping hot. Lots of cabbage and meat along with the broth. I had FOMO for sure. One panini came with a side salad, the other chose the tomato, onion, and cucumber salad that came with balsamic. So tasty I tried it later bc we took it to go, and I ate it all! Really great atmosphere and concept. On our way out we had a conversation with the manager/owner, and it was really pleasant. The weather was awful, but our stop here was a bright beacon and a memorable stop. Support small owned businesses!

The calm ambiance and muted, cinnamon-brown walls of the space's predecessor, Cafe at 407, which closed at the end of 2023, have been replaced with TVs in the dining area and bar, a wall-length mural and a little nook with a neon sign that reads "Say Cheese!" and Polaroids of satisfied customers pinned to the wall. The menu taps into childhood fast food nostalgia, with burgers, fries, onion rings and milkshakes -- plus beer, wine, cocktails and boozy sodas. With five burgers, two chicken sandwiches, two salads, a few shareable starters, Fly Bird chicken tenders, a Chicago-style glizzy and a fried fish sandwich served only on Fridays, the menu isn't long, but offers enough variation to appeal to most diners. The wife and I stopped in on a Saturday right at opening time. We were sat and given menus immediately. We decided to share a burger and fries and an order of tenders. We ordered the blue suede shoes - a burger topped with cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, carmelized onions, pickles and house remoulade and an order of hot stuff buffalo tenders. Our food was brought relatively quickly and we enjoyed everything. Fries were fresh, crispy and seasoned, burger was cooker perfectly, the tenders were fresh, crispy, saucy and had just the slightest kick of heat to them. Our server was very friendly and helpful, prices were comparable to similar restaurants, and we has plenty of food to bring home. We'd definitely go again.

However, the seating was uncomfortable and it is not wheelchair accessible. The food blew me away. I loved the mac n cheese. So creamy and cheesy and a decent portion for the price. The burger was fantastic. Shake was good and a great price point. I got some sauces to go, I feel like my onion rings should have come with a sauce given the $1 upgrade fee.

When my son's game at a local indoor center ran over by almost 30 minutes, I called and told them we would be late. They accommodated us and seated us immediately upon arrival. About 10 minutes later, at 8pm, the live music started. It was wonderful music, but where we were seated was in front of the speakers and two of our party wear hearing aides. When it looked like we were going to have to cut our celebration short, our server, the wonderful Marcy, and another gentleman, worked to get us seating in the lower dining room in front. We were so grateful for the accommodations, and everyone was super nice about it. The food and drinks were outstanding, of course. Our party ordered the chicken bowl, the chippy chicken, the curd burger, a cheeseburger, and the turkey avocado. Everyone was silent as they ate! The service was friendly and impeccable (even when we really weren't being easy customers), and our night, which could have gone south so quickly, was made! And hopefully a younger, hipper crew moved into our table and enjoyed the wonderful music! The band was great and we really enjoyed it still from where we ended up! So cheers to the staff at AG! We will be back (and know where to ask to sit next time! Haha)!!
