Another great and affordable early dinner with my daughter. Her favorite steak chain recently closed in our area so we gave Long Horn a try. Love the rustic Adirondack Cabin Vibe, first time I noticed The Legend of LongHorn portrayal. Friendly and attentive service. The dragonfruit Margarita sweet and sour with a fruity twist, large pour and enough to share. Both steaks cooked perfectly to order, loved the blue cheese crust! I have no words except that my family and I will not be returning to this ill-run establishment, especially for something as special as Mother's Day. I'll start by saying that even though we had called ahead and made a reservation for 5:55 we weren't sat until 6:12, which we understood because the place was busy. However, what we cannot understand is why our food took over an hour and every single entree and side was cold and overcooked. Medium steaks were well-done, fries were cold and chicken tenders were as if they never touched the heat. Our waitress Marissa never even asked if our food was okay (it was as if she knew the food was bad and didn't want to face our reaction). The presumptive manager came to apologize for the wait and told us he would be right back to address our poor food, however he never did. We didn't leave the restaurant until 7:39, we got there at 5:50. We understood that it was busy but that is no excuse given that it is pretty common knowledge that restaurants should expect large crowds on holidays. For all of this I would've at least expected an apology from Marissa and maybe a free dessert? But no, she simply handed the bill over and ran away as fast as she could. The chicken critter salad is my go-to and I love the fresh made ranch dressing! I hear their fresh made blue cheese is good too and last time I went I had their Caesar which was excellent. Critters are still warm which I enjoy on the cold salad which comes with bacon, cheese, hard boiled egg, purple cabbage, lettuce, and tomato. I have to be pretty hungry to eat the whole salad. $2 off M-Th between 4 and 6 along with a number of other items in the menu. Service is always cheerful, helpful, and attentive. We went here on a Friday at 5pm with 2 children and a senior citizen. They told us it would be a 25-30 minute wait, which can be an eternity with small children. Luckily we only ended up waiting 5 minutes which was a relief. This place is perfect for people with small children because the peanuts and entertainment help parents eat their meal in peace. Our waiter, Ethan, was wonderful an patient with our toddlers and senior. The food was really good. I ordered the chicken critter salad, and my kids enjoyed the chicken fingers which were good. I have been to this location several times. usually the food is amazing and the customer service is swell. however, the most recent time I visited this location the customer service did not meet expectations. The food was still good. But like I said, the customer service was not. They did not have any bread when we were seated. I understand that this location tends to be busy. However, the bread is a staple at Texas roadhouse. It took 45 minutes for our entrées to be delivered. Which I could understand if I had a big party, but my party was two people. I don't see why it takes 45 minutes to cook a steak a piece of chicken and fries. Like I said, I am usually very impressed with this location, however the most recent time I visited, the standard was not met. Went to the Texas Roadhouse in Liverpool New York Thursday what November 8th the staff was very efficient very friendly the food was very good however they advertise beer for $5 all day everyday they ran out of Labette blue so my cousin ordered Blue Moon I presume I would get that for $5 a bottle or a glass but they charged me $750 if you go to any Texas Roadhouse make sure that they will honor that advertise price $5 for beer $5 for a margarita and $5 for a Long Island Iced Tea otherwise I had a very good time to spend $84 for two people read more

The waitress came by and too, our drink order. she came back and asked if we knew what we wanted, we hadn't had any menus given to us, so no. She came back, took our order, never brought knives for the rolls. When another young lady brought our food, we still didn't have utensils. one of the plates looked like the food had slipped off and had been put back on. maybe it was busy, but we will rethink heading back there again. read more

I've been to this location a few times now, and have been happy with the overall experience. We've been seated promptly and the service has been quick, which is a nice plus considering how short staffed some restaurants are these days. Sometimes chain restaurants can vary wildly in the quality of the food, but the food here has been consistently good to great. My husband likes his steaks cooked medium and they always come out cooked perfectly and seasoned well. We've ordered many items off the menu and have had no complaints. The food comes out hot and and the portions are large; many meals are big enough to bring half home for a second meal. As with all restaurants of this type, most items are sodium bombs, but you're not eating here for low calorie meals, lol. Overall it was a good experience, just a little disappointing at the end, however we must cut these places some slack with the labor shortage. We were seated shortly after walking in and our server arrived soon enough, we were ready to order. Our drinks came promptly and food in a reasonable amount of time- I has grilled shrimp with rice and corn, it was all delicious. My guest had ribs, corn and French fries which were all good; a little extra fat on the ribs but that's usually the luck of the draw- they ate 2/3 and were satisfied. When we were done eating it took a while to get the check, we were ready to leave and had been waiting but I thought I could pay it n the app but the check was missing the code needed to use the app, so I went to the bar and paid the check so that we could leave. I had heard that Texas Roadhouse Grill is one of the highest rated restaurant for customer service and food. When we were sat we found the table we were seated at was covered with grease and food waste. We asked our server for something to clean it with and we were brought a dry towel with no cleaning solution. We had to clean the table ourselves. We should have seen this as a precursor to our experience and left. The value and quality of food was very disappointing. My wife ordered a 6 oz piece of filet and it was smaller than a deck of cards and just as thin. There was really no way to cook it other than rare or medium well. It was extremely disappointing. In fairness to the service the place was understaffed; unfortunately this has been the norm where we live. Needless to say we will not be eating at another Texas Roadhouse Grill in the immediate future. read more

Me and the Mrs dropped by last night for dinner. I had the 16oz Ft. Worth ribeye with buttered corn and steak fries. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium. It tasted great and was seasoned well. The corn was good. But, it was a bit peppery. The steak fries were cooked just right. The Mrs had the sirloin and shrimp combo. She enjoyed her meal and said Texas Roadhouse does steak better than any other restaurant. I feel the same way as I never had an unpleasant dinner here. Recent visit at 4:15 pm on a Saturday,, proved interesting,, place was already pretty full as they open at 4 PM. I got a ribeye and my wife a large sirloin. Ordered medium cooked. Both had mashed potatoes. Also a onion blossom. We ate half of the blossom then our steaks came out. Mine was tough and the sirloin was perfect. Rolls were good, salad too. Beer was good and cold. They gave us small bags of shelled in peanuts,, took them home along with half of steaks. Then I tried the peanuts tasted stale..both bags,, discarded them. Another over cooked steak that they brought back and we're like "not gonna lie; we we just flipped it over" I asked for medium rare, "it's the most rare prime rib we have right now". So I waited an hour to be sat to order a steak they didn't have to be brought an over cooked disaster. But I keep coming back for these rolls despite how often they screw up on their prime rib. If you're out of medium rare, say it, don't give me a medium well steak and send someone else over that flipped it over to be like "it looks less done on that side" and "it's the most rare one we have".
