I have been there here many times. Never have had an issue. Food is always very good. Just a recommendation since my friends and I drove from Baldwinsville to eat last night and you were out of food. Please post on social media when you run out instead of wasting our time driving there to be turned away. Not cool! Unpopular opinion. Gross!!!!! Ribs were fatty and greasy and disgusting. Brisket was decent but oily and fatty. Sides were meh. I would much rather go to dinosaur for about half the cost too. Sad!!! Oh there were flies all over the dining room too. read more

Service was fast and friendly Super convenient, right off the highway. BBQ is LEGIT. Ordered turkey ribs brisket and beef rib. The ribs were of the dry rub variety. I've tried ribs all over the country and you don't get better than these. I've lived outside of St Louis as well as Kansas City. Ordered in Memphis, Nashville, and all over the south but these are the best. What's actually shocking is ALL the other meats we ordered were just as good. That never happens. And, if 2 or 3 meats somewhere are pretty decent, usually the sides aren't very special at all, mostly just filler. Not here. ALL of the sides were outstanding. DEFINITELY worth pulling off the road or even going out of your way. Next time I go for BBQ, I'dcertainly drive 2 hours one-way just to go here. Great flavors, textures and quality of meat. We have been here several times and it's been amazing each time. Whenever we ask our daughter where she wants to go out for dinner she says "bbq!" and we know she means here. She loves their chicken tenders and fries.. and truly any of the meat selections are so good! The turkey sandwich is my favorite. My husband will eat anything off their menu and rave about it. For months I drove past these big, orange signs on the side of the I-81 that promoted Texas BBQ. Today I finally made my way out there to see what all the fuss was about. Let me tell you, the fuss was not fussin' enough! Hands down some of the best BBQ I've had ever. Very large outdoor and indoor seating area. You can also take your barbecue to the adjacent bar with their very friendly bartenders. Got the trinity with baked beans and Mac and cheese. The sides were among the best I've had at a barbecue place. The ribs were my favorite although the fatty brisket is the best I've had outside of Texas. The sausage was really good too. This BBQ joint tucked in a corner off route 11 in Lafayette is unassuming but packs a punch. The meat counter and seating area is on the smaller side but they are doing renovations and expanding. Everything I had was truly delicious and flavorful. The meat was smokey and tender like you'd expect. I thought it was a little pricier than other local spots in comparison but honestly it was still worth it. The workers were nice and working quickly to fill all orders. This place is so worth the trip from all points Syracuse. Friendly people, quick service and the food..... oh my. We've had quite a few different meats but in every order is the smoked turkey. It really is the best thing on the menu. The jalapeño cornbread is like a dessert, another must each time. Beans and Mac/cheese are the other go to. We did a take out of 3 meats, cornbread and m&c. We had been dying to try this BBQ, new restaurants in this area are hard to come by! It is easy to locate and the staff was incredibly and overwhelmingly friendly. We ordered 3 meat platters with sides so we can try a little of everything. All the food besides the wings came out instantaneously. There are a few tables inside and inside the restaurant was a bit cold. The food was good, meat is falling off the bone and wings are juicy. My husband was out in Lafayette and I knew I had to have him pick up takeout from Brickyard for lunch. He said the place small but very friendly service. I got the two meat combo (brisket & sausage w/mac n cheese & beans), he got 2 meat combo as well (wings & brisket), the kids had chicken tenders and fries (shoestring fries fyi). Everything was seasoned very well and smoked well. I loved the sausage, it was flavorful and the bite from the casing. The brisket was delicious. Food wasn't bad, I wouldn't write home about it. The meat wasn't very hot but that could be because I got the end of the brisket. The smokehouse itself was freezing inside so maybe that contributed to the food temperature. Service was good and the people were kind. Tried this place for the first time today. Wife and I ordered the sampler. Came with pork ribs , brisket, chicken wings and pulled pork. Pulled pork was excellent. Brisket was also good. Ribs were tasty but tough! The chicken wings were also very good. I would say that the sauces tend be spicy. But that's me, I don't like hot/real spicy. Sides were good. I got the beans and slaw. The beans were pretty good, but not as good as the ones from the Homer BBQ. The slaw should be chopped a little finer. But tasted good. My wife's fries were good but over salted. Her mac n cheese was too spicy for her. Over all, not bad, but not great. We'd go back for the wings and pulled pork. Honestly, I think Bob's BBQ in Homer is better. I'd say give them a try and decide for yourself. They are fairly new. read more

Went back today to grab a bite for lunch and I really paid attention to the guys handling the meats and prepping the meals. everyone was wearing gloves but they touch each type of meat with them after touching buns multiple times thus cross contaminated every single meat with Gluten particles from the buns. We live in Jamesville and saw the internet review about this place. We have had BBQ from all of the local BBQ spots and one in Texas. When you pull up the smell of BBQ is in the air! We had the pulled pork ribs potato salad and beans. The pulled pork was excellent, a bun loaded with pork and their special sauce. The ribs were better than Dinosaur Limp lizard and Roadhouse fall off the bone smokey and tasty not covered in sugary toppings so you can really taste the goodness.
