Fresh, flavorful, and filling without feeling heavy -- exactly what I want when I'm trying to eat better but still enjoy my food. This is a great healthy alternative to typical fast-casual spots, and the ingredients tasted fresh and well-seasoned. On top of that, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, which always makes the experience better. Clean restaurant and fresh tasty food. Portions were generous. My burrito bowl lasted for 2 meals. Lots of toppings that had no extra charges. They have a lunch walk-in special M - Th that basically gets you the grilled chicken (normally $1.49 extra) for free with 5 toppings max. The birria tacos were made fresh to order and were filled with meat. Limes, pickled onions and gravy served on the side. We only got 2, should have gotten 3 since it was only $2 more. The chips were not impressive. I wish that they were better. They are a little too hard and overcooked. Not sure if they came from a bag but didn't seem to be made fresh. This place isn't bad at all, but I don't think I would come back with the other options I have access to as they are preferable. I noticed in a comment that someone said their food is halal and if so I think this would be a great option for those who can't eat at other tex-mex inspired locations. I got a bowl and it was less food than I thought it would be. I got the spicy chicken and it seems to have been marinated, I wasn't fond of it as the flavor is conflicting. Regardless I wouldn't say this is a bad place or the food is bad - I'm hoping it was just a mediocre run in. There were 3 spoonfuls of steak added. (They didn't skimp.) I left full. Was served with a side of tortilla chips. Food could have been a tad hotter but it was hot enough not to be an issue. Service: 4/5 - Friendly greeting by manager/owner. Made some polite chit-chat while preparing. Informed us of the mon-thu lunch special of $7.99! There were about 3 people working, one cooking, and two preparing orders and helping customers. I visited at lunch time during the week. Food was prepared quickly. No followups to ask how things were. An important step for a new establishment. Atmosphere: 3/5 - Not bad but nothing exciting either. There is no vibe or music. It doesn't seem like a Mexican place frankly. Seating is limited. There are about 4 tables but more can be added in the future. Cleanliness 4/5 - Everything was clean as a new place should be. Workers were wearing hats and gloves but the manager/owner was not and was handling food. Kitchen is in full view of the patron's so that's a positive. You can see the conditions that the food is being prepared. No digestive issues afterwards -- an indication that things are being stored / cooked properly. Value 5/5 - $7.99 for a lunch special is good! It's normally $9.99 for the burrito bowl and depending on your proteins it can cost a $1 or $2 more. They take mobile payments. Guac is extra. Parking 2/5 - Very tight small lot. It gets crowded at peak times. Getting in and out of the lot can be challenging sometimes. Overall - 4/5 - A very good meal and decent service. Cheaper than across the street at Guac Time with a similar setup. Guac Time gives you a bit more food but costs considerably more. Better service than Guac Time. That said I left full and satisfied. Recommendation To The Owner: Consider improving the seating area with branding, color, etc. Watch the temperature on the tray's that hold the food for preparation. Dial them up a little bit. I stopped in here after looking for vegan options in the area. After looking at the build your own burrito bowl options, I was very excited about the variety of fresh ingredients. Everything from the staff to the food was amazing! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. I wish I had a picture, but a few months later I'm writing this review. I found out I was pregnant last year around September. One night I was so hungry but I was craving birria tacos so bad and lots of lemon... luckily I found this place since you know first trimester is not a joke and gonna have you starving at 1 am lol. I found this place and they were open until 2 am which I thank all of the coworkers doing night shifts !!! Unfortunately I don't remember seeing any name on the receipt that day but whoever made my order I hope your pockets are never empty and good health always !!! But in the instructions I wrote i was craving a lot of lemon and I didn't have any at home and they sent me the pieces that come in the order PLUS two whole lemons !!! And they wrote a cute note on saying congratulations for my baby. I'll never forget that because it was one of those nights where only me and my husband knew about our baby so i was going thru all the emotions and feelings. It sounds funny but you guys were amazing for that, plus the tacos were amazing! Thank you so much to whoever did that around September or October 2025!!! Was tasting a tostada bowl and bumbled across this place. Place is similar to Chipotle in how you order and move down the counter. The food tasted fresh and wasn't overly spicy. The service was friendly and pretty efficient. Had the Limon chicken tostada bowl and it was yummy. The Limon curly fries were tasty with a touch of spice. The food is very good. We had a salad, chips and a burrito. You could taste authenticity here, something that is oftentimes lost in big chain restaurants. I had the burrito bowl with steak. Everything was good and tasted fresh. Steak was also tender, and not chewy, which was a pleasant surprise, wish it was slightly more flavorful tho. Areas where I think they can improve is the cheese, it was processed flavorless shredded cheese and I personally like the one chipotle uses better. Also, their queso, which was 3 bucks i think for a side, was extremely disappointing, a bright neon orange, basically like the velveta cheese u get in a can, not creamy either, again chipotle does it way better. Also, am disappointed that they are a halal restaurant but do not advertise it??? not on their socials, not on their menu, and not anywhere in the front or inside the store. I tried this place for lunch today, and I'm so happy I did. It's a great addition to North Babylon. It's like Chipotle, but with a small business owned and operated feeling. I love how clearly everything is labeled, so I know exactly what I'm ordering. Also, I noticed they had no shrimp when I was ordering, but when I asked, they immediately cooked some up, and I happily waited the 5 minutes for it. My meal was almost perfect. The only thing that wasn't great was the queso, which tasted like it came straight out of a jar, but the rest of the food made up for it. I just know not to order the queso again. It's fine because I was full with my shrimp burrito bowl and a handful of the large fries, which were the stand out. They were crispy with the taste of citrus and chili powder. The fries were an impulse order since we originally went just to get burrito bowls, but I'll order them again and again. We opted for two sauces each and got them on the side so we could try them out. They were all great, and I'm excited to try others when I go back! read more
