All of the reviews and references were glowing. In fact, we had, I thought, a great working relationship from 2023 up until recently. I had grown to trust him. He did many projects for my mom's house, and I planned on having him work on my house in the near future. This final and most expensive project was to install new vinyl gates. He instructed me on what to purchase, since we have a military discount at the big box hardware store. He installed the gates over a few weeks, there were a few delays due to a shortage of parts needed. It was started in January 2026, and finally completed in March. It looked okay from a distance, but as I looked closer, I noticed many flaws. I don't have to be an experienced handywoman to know that something is not right (please reference posted pictures). So I asked him to come and fix the gates, as they were unacceptable. He asked what was wrong with them, and basically I told him and showed him with the pictures I took. He said he would come by. Delay upon delay. Weeks and months later he still says he'll come by (see screenshots posted). Finally, he says he will come this Monday. We wait all day. No show. I say to him, "If you didn't want to fix the gates, just say that." Essentially, he says he's not coming, and he can give me an $850 refund. I say, great, please send it. Then he proceeds to ghost me for the next few days. It's disappointing that some people and businesses are the way that they are. I just wanted to help my mom upgrade her home and make it look nicer. Below are the key observations based on visible conditions: Left Gate: *Missing screws in several areas, compromising stability and proper assembly. *Visible foam residue on the vinyl surfaces that must be properly removed and cleaned. Right Gate: *Improper installation of the 4x4 support posts. *Use of cardboard and expanding foam as filler material between the vinyl and concrete, which is not an acceptable or durable installation method. *Gate is misaligned and does not close or latch properly. *A piece of wood was used between the concrete and the post as a makeshift support, indicating improper anchoring of the 4x4 post. *Scratches and cosmetic damage present on the vinyl surfaces. *Multiple exposed and unsealed screw holes throughout the vinyl. *Excess foam residue visible across the right side of the gate. *One post cap is loose and not securely installed. ~ In regards to the business' response: Everything I do is on my mother's behalf. I am her agent. I do the all the vetting, collecting bids, and hiring for her. The issue was not money, it was about fixing the flaws on the gates. And lastly, it was at her request that I be present if you decided to show up. We trusted you, and this is what you left us with. That is all.

We hired…read morethis crook and his partner to put up our Christmas Lighting on the exterior of our home and on one tree. Roman bid $1,200 to put up OUR IWN LIGHTS onto our home. I was shocked. Paid $375 for this service last year. Those fellows supplied the lights. I told this crook "no". Roman asked me what Is be willing to pay him to complete the work we wanted. I said, "at most $250. That's what we have". Roman haggled me up to the price of $500---promised to do the job to our satisfaction and promised the price of $500 would INCLUDE them returning "immediately after the holidays to take it all down". I was shocked to learn Roman and his friend had brought no ladder, no tools of any kind (not even a screwdriver or a staple gun). They drove over to Home Depot, bought a ladder (which they used and returned for cash immediately after). So they ripped off Hone Depot too. Their work looked as though it had been done by a drunken toddler. Sloppy. Lights dangling haphazardly all over. The wrong light put up crookedly in the wrong places. I was surprised to learn that (although claiming to be a gifted handyman) Roman lacks even the basic understanding of electrical work. He rejected roll after roll of Christmas lights telling me "those are bad". I replaced the missing bulb on each "bad" string of lights and to Roman's shock---the lights worked. Not a good sign. Our house looked embarrassing after they were done. Lights zigzagged as though they'd been put up by someone on LSD. Our tree looked as though they'd just tossed lights over the top in a mess. I asked them to undo the tree. I redid it as best I could myself. Roman and his equally inept partner refused to finish the entire house (as they had promised) so I kindly informed them that I would be unwilling to pay them the entire amount of $500. We settled on $400--which they promised included the removal in January. I later realized they hadn't even done the work on more than 3/4 of our home. Come January --- they ducked us. Repeatedly. When they finally returned our calls Roman demanded an EXTRA $300 to remove the lights. We had to hire a reputable handyman to do the removal so as not to be fined by our HOA. Roman had provided us no receipt in December when he and his terrible partner did their incredibly sloppy work. When I found their payment through my bank he had listed his company name ironically as "HANDY HEROES" not as "NEX FIX". He had identified his business as a "restaurant". I kid you not. This guy is a phony and a fraud.
