Finding the location the first time was a little confusing because the shop is very small and intertwined with a massage parlor and apartments, but after the first time you'll be a pro at parking and finding this location. Lina is a very sweet lady, I didn't go anywhere else to find alterations, and some people thought she was a bit pricy but I cannot compare because she was the only one i came to. I had her take from width, the length added a bustle to the main dress, and I had a skirt that went over my main dress she had to alter it too. I did have to buy my own lace sleeves and she was able to add it to my dress(she didn't offer to find them, luckily I found the lace in DT). She also took from the inside of my fluffy layered skirt to make it less fluffy, I requested pockets but to no avail she said it wasn't possible. The only issue I had was finding pins in the skirt after final pick up. I felt like the length wasn't done due to the pins but she fixed this issue with no hesitation. Overall, service was solid, received my clothes by the agreed date, quality of work was excellent, my only complaint was a disparity between the estimate price and the actual price. Although I am aware an estimate is not a guarantee, it was still a bit of a bummer. However, even if that issue happens the difference will probably be minimal, so it's still worth messaging in advanced. Lina was great and quick! Like a lot of reviews state I would call before just showing up since she might not be there even though it says it's open. I showed up and no one was there but called to set up a time and date to go back. I took my wedding dress the Tuesday, a little over a week and a half before my wedding date. I wanted a bustle added to it and she was able to add it by the following Monday and for a great price. I don't understand how this place has such great rave reviews. I specifically asked her if she was able to alter my pants a certain way and she said she was able to. Now I just cleaned the pants that she altered and now my hem is all twisted. My $400 dollar pants now have some janky twisted hems. Lina did a fabulous job on my Vintage 1930's Long Silk Velvet Coat! I am thrilled. The seam at the bottom Of my coat was all falling apart and torn at the bottom in some places. Wish I would have taken before pictures. She brought the hem up and hand sewn the mile long Gem at the bottom. She tightened up my button holes and the buttons were hanging almost falling off and she tightened it up now I can button all the way up to the collar. This Coat has Velvet you cannot buy now a days. What a gem Lina is. She turned a bad experience into a positive one. The previous tailor I had used to alter my interview suit botched it so badly that I had to buy a new suit. I only had a few hours to find a replacement and get it altered the same day. That was almost an impossible situation. I had to board a flight the following day for my interview. There was no room for error. After buying my suit I looked on yelp for somebody nearby to make alterations. It was a Saturday and most places are closed or close early. I was so concerned that I was not going to be able to get my suit altered in time. Lina graciously fit me in between her other alterations and finished it within a few hours.
