Wow, this lady is ORNERY! As soon as I set foot inside the shop she yelled at me to GO BACK OUTSIDE AND READ THE SIGN!!! No friendly greeting, no "Welcome, how may I help you?" Just shrieking. The door was propped open, so I didn't see the sign, but when I went back outside I saw it says she's not accepting new work at this time. (I guess she's too busy.) I was a loyal customer for five years, but I will never go back. No business owner should treat customers the way she treated me. She gets two stars instead of one because I was happy with the work she did back before she shrieked at me. read more

The first experience was fine. Second one she didn't like the t-shirt I brought to be shortened as it was 'not her political leaning' and berated me. I left the shirt to be done and it was cut way too short. I didn't want to get into it with her so paid and left. Won't be going back. You can't berate customers for their beliefs, you need to be neutral. read more

I've been to Coco the Alteration Place several times over the years, including when my daughter was in Girl Scouts to have patches sewn on. Unfortunately, my experience today was extremely disappointing. When I went to pick up an alteration, the owner was visibly irritated that I didn't fully understand something and responded in a very rude and unprofessional manner. As a business owner, I expected better communication and courtesy. After today's experience, I will not be returning or bringing my business there again. read more

I wish I had the same experience as the other reviews but mine was not great. I called to check if my suit alteration was completed and when providing my name to help her identify my suit she responded, " I don't care." I was pretty shocked by the ride customer service response. Not really a great way to speak to your customers. After that situation she located my suit and told me for a hem of the pants and bringing in the sides of the jacket was $110. Now I feel like that cost for a standard suit alteration was a bit high and think I am getting overcharged. This is not an alteration with a major overhaul. Am I crazy to think this is a ridiculous charge from a rude and horrible customer service person? read more

Had a wedding dress for a month and returned it telling the bride she can't do it. Now the cost will double to do alterations with very little time to find someone else. Just the stress a bride needs. Not sure why she waiting for the scheduled fitting appointment to let her know? read more

coco does good work but she is extremely unprofessional and disorganized to the point where she blames customers for her own wrongdoing. She lost my clothing tag which I remember her quoting me $50 for two items. She felt so insulted that I remembered this number that she spent almost 15 minutes berating me and being overtly rude for something that to me wasn't a big deal, I'm guessing she thought that I was lying and trying to jilt her money. That was not my intention and when I asked her what she wanted for the work she feels like she was owed, she didn't even bother to respond, and continued to yell at a customer that just wanted to pay and move on for 15 mins. She basically thought that if I left paying nothing, she would be in the right. I paid for the work she wanted. I have gone to her several times and have venmoed her each time, and this will be the last. She quotes fair prices but I probably will not be coming back. Her rudeness and lack of character will cause her to lose more customers. she also needs to stop blaming customers for her own store management issues ( losing tags, disorganization, yelling) and work on herself. read more

Went to coco's to repair part of our couch cushion and this was my first time coming here. Coco was easy to get ahold of and I went in the same day, and within a day! She was able to fix my cushion and I came in and picked it up. She said "you have guests coming to visit, you need this". Customer service was top notch! After years of loyalty to this place, I've decided to not return. In the last 2 years, a total of 4 mistakes occurred with my clothes which I've said nothing about and kept providing opportunities. Last incident, a costly one. I took her $125.00 pants so that she can drop tailor and drop any extra material, instead, she hems them and makes them shorter by 3", No excuses were made, no regards tor the customer. read more

I walked in and She made me feel like my dress and I were not important and an inconvenience.

DO NOT COME HERE! This place is so unprofessional and rude! I brought a bridesmaid dress in and asked if she could get it done in a week and she said YES. So a week later I come in and the alterations were done HORRIBLY so i bring it to her attention and she agrees. So she tells me to leave the dress and come back in 2 days. I come back to find a huge stain on my dress! Obviously I'm frustrated and she tells me to go take it to a dry cleaners but i expressed that i don't have time giving the wedding was around the corner. I rarely use alteration services but needed a bridesmaid dress altered for a wedding. It needed to be taken in in quite a few places, hem, shoulders, etc... so it was pretty involved. They did a great job and completed it quickly for a lower price than others in the area. If I need anything else altered I will definitely be back. read more
