My husband has been on oxygen since COVID and is supposedly on a schedule to have oxygen delivered on a regular basis; however, they don't come. I have to load all his bottles into the car (with a bad back) so that he can drive to Kent from Orting to get his full bottles. And to top it off we keep getting empty bottles in with the full ones. They have people's lives in their hands and they don't seem to give a damn. read more

This was a last minute goof up on my part. I ordered oxygen for my husband and got the wrong supplier. I called Kent Washington Lincare and spoke to Christian (the manager) who was a sweetheart. He jumped in and got things rolling. We had an oxygen concentrator and tubing delivered that night! The driver (Daniel) went above and beyond his duties. Not only did he deliver the concentrator, put it in the garage, secure the door then found my daughter at another location for a signature. Who does that? I can not give the Lincare team enough kudos for this. Our trip has been secured and my hubby taken care of. Thank you for your diligence and professionalism. Highly recommend this business. I read the other reviews and thought maybe they just had bad luck. Maybe my experience will be different. My doctors office sent the prescription for a new cpap machine to this office in kent. A female from the lincare store contacted me saying they received my prescription. They verified my insurance coverage and said I'm covered at 100%. So, no out of pocket money should be needed. She then asks for my credit card info. I'm a bit thrown by why my credit card will be needed to keep on file. So I asked her, "I thought you said it's covered at 100%, and nothing will be charged to me." She said yes, that is correct. So I ask. Is there a charge for the delivery? She said no. She stated that's the procedure they have for when they do a remote setup with the customers. So I ask, can't I just go into the office for the pickup and setup? She said no, they are very short staffed. Now I'm thinking that they charge for the remote setup. She assured me that there is no a charge for the setup. Well, because I'm really confused by this whole conversation with her and why my credit card was needed and she couldn't give me an answer that made sense, I asked to speak to her manager or supervisor, she said that she wasn't in. So I told her to double and triple check with her supervisor on this because it doesn't make any sense to me. I then called my insurance company to find out if I was 100% covered for my cpap. They told me it's 80% after I got my $1500 deductible. I had only met $400 so far, so I would be paying out of pocket for my cpap. Thank goodness I trusted my gut feeling. So I found a place online that I could purchase my cpap through, and it was half the price. I also didn't need to give my credit card information over the phone to a new employee who doesn't know anything and is just trying to get your credit card information. I did ask that employee if there is a site, they have to enter the credit card information due to security risk and hippa compliance. She said no, they don't have any such thing. My advice is to look elsewhere. You will be disappointed, possibly charged for things you didn't order, and just very, very shady and dishonest practice by this company. Remember. I warned you. My doctor sent an order to Lincare for an oxygen concentrator for overnight use. I kept checking on why I hadn't received it. Turns out that they wanted the doctor to change my diagnosis so that they could send me a c-pap device instead of an oxygen concentrator! Since when does a medical supply company dictate a diagnosis to the doctor? And they said wanted to "explore other avenues" to an oxygen concentrator. I have stage 3 COPD, and there are no other avenues. Lincare delayed the order for more than 2.5 weeks, all the while I slept at oxygen levels below 88% saturation. They should not be in business in my opinion. And they were rude to me when I called during the 2.5-week delay. They said not to call back, but they would "reach out to me" at some point. SMH If anyone from the state department that oversees medical supply company reads this, I hope they will investigate Lincare. read more

Up until a year ago I was getting good customer service from Kent Lincare but in the last year I have had the worst experience with this company. My 82 yo father needs 24/7 oxygen and has to have his portable for doctor appointments and I have now been trying for over 4 weeks to get someone to come out . First appointment was a no show, second call manager was to call me and never did, third call I was to get a call from person when they were getting close to our place , no call and no shoe , fourth call was answered by another call center and I ask to speak directly with manager and she told me she can email to the manager and cc her manager to make sure I get a call back to deal with this issue ! Well, she still three days later and I am still waiting! I will now be calling the AG Office of WA State to deal with them as they are the only supplier of oxygen supplies in my area covered by Medicare . I was trying to find out where my prescription was in "the process " and asked that question. The person ( I think her name was Trish) kept saying they will call me back when they needed to talk to me.... I asked if I could speak to someone in the department that was doing the preliminary work ---- she just kept interrupting me giving me an answer to a question I had NOT asked..... I also told her I had some difficulty recently in getting return calls from Lincare which was why I wanted to figure out where my prescription was on that day.... Finally, she said something like "well, you have not used our services for a long time, so you are free to go with another company "....... I told her I did not think it was very good service to be referring customers to another company because you did not want to answer their question or request ..... I then asked to speak to her supervisor who she told me was Kyle---- she also indicated he was "not available " at that time. I made sure she had my phone number and asked her to have Kyle contact me ---- she said she would give him the message----- it is over a week later and I have not heard from Kyle or anyone else---- I am very doubtful she passed my message on given her hostility towards me on the phone..... I am so stressed with Lincare. I have used them for years, and I don't have trouble getting my supplies, but....... My Dr. sent in a request for a new C-pap In August....so far, I have heard from them on and off, but still no C-pap. Now they supposedly faxed something where they need my Dr. to sign off again. They didn't receive it, so today I called again and they transferred me to another number. I got ahold of someone who I couldn't understand very well. She looked up my account and had no idea of a new C-pap. She said she would make it a "priority" to have someone call me today......no one called. I stayed home all day even though I had some errands to run. At one stage in the beginning of my new clinic they asked if I wanted to get another company to get my CPAP's and supplies through. I wish now I had changed companies because this is getting ridiculous. I am moving very soon to Hawaii and it will be out of my insurance area. I wanted to get an a new CPAP so I don't have to go and do another sleep study when I get to Hawaii this is very disappointing. I've been dealing with this for 4 month now. read more

From the very late delivery (11pm) and running out of oxygen when they were scheduled at 7-8 pm to getting no response after a month and a half to pick it all up 8 months later. The BILL CAME THOUGH! They got into my bank account without permission! The delivery was so late (office closed), he wouldn't leave the equipment (in case) my insurance wouldn't pay, WITHOUT A DEBIT CARD NUMBER. ONE TIME USE PERMISSION! I didn't catch it until two withdrawals. After contacting them they stopped the debit of $133??!!! But billed me $18. . Is it illegal for a medical supply company to be this incompetent? Serious question. It took months for me to get a CPAP from them after my doctor sent them my prescription multiple times. I cannot say I've tried better, because this was a first time event. Somehow either my doctor or insurance lead me to this facility. It's been a rocky 11 weeks with them. From the get-go the device was delivered with a price per month cost. It took several phone calls to get the Rx delivered correctly until the system began to work. Then I got the bill nearly 8 weeks later and the costs were very, very different. It was difficult to reach a rep without being suffled about, hard to get a return call & other issues. In short - I'll give them another 30 to 45 days, another billing cycle to see if this works for me. I do not believe the facility keeps good records, it often seems they are never on the same page. As an ex employee I have to say that I would not use them! Lack of training, under paid and management that is out of touch with what it takes to get the job done and does bot communicate with the employees is why you will wait weeks for your order! It's a money driven business without patient care even a consideration! 6 employees left in a 2 week period and they probably still don't get it! All but one went to Performance Home Medical and the difference in atmosphere and the care the upper management and the owner has towards the employees is amazing! The only reason I gave them one star is because I didn't have the option of no stars. I unfortunately signed a five year contract so I cannot change providers. I have never dealt with a company this incompetent before. I have been trying to get candulas for 3 weeks. First they sent the wrong ones. Then twice promised they would be mailed. Finally on Tuesday a young lady, Brittany, promised they would overnight them, I am still waiting. I honestly do not know how they stay in business, they simply do not care about their customers. New to the area and have had several contacts with Lincare Auburn and am very disappointed with their actions. I have been trying to have my Lincare account transferred from where we came from and after more than 3 weeks they still have been unable to transfer the account. I called them yesterday requesting replacement equipment and was told I would be scheduled for today. At 10a.m. I called to confirm the request and was told I was on the schedule. At 4 p.m. I call ed again and was told I could not get a time of delivery because the office did not have contact with the delivery person. It is now 6:30 p.m. and still no equipment, phone call or any message. Worst service ever!!! read more

My experience is in advocating service for my own elderly mother who needed a new CPAP machine when hers broke. For those of you who may not know, ITS NEEDED FOR BREATHING! Unreturned phone calls, undelivered promises on following up, rude and condescending attitudes. Basically there was NO machine for weeks and after talking to her DR, his own words. "They likely never ordered it". "They do not put Medicare customers first because they don't make any $$ on those orders" I don't know what happened, my last string of calls were not returned. I have been in need of a CPAP device now for 3 months because my old machine died after years of use. My doctor ordered another machine for me. Like to be given the run-around - 12 phone calls so far - with excuses like - the person we need to talk to is out - is sick - on a call - not available - not our depatment - at a different office 3. My insurance company is making me go there, they are making me go 45 minutes out of my way to an office when another I they have is less than 10 minutes from my work. They divide customer service by your home location. I am told I will have to make this drive every time I need supplies or service as the other location will refuse to help me if I try. Been trying to get a new cpap mask since June. Two times they sent the wrong masks, Last call they made an appointment to come to my house between 9:30 and 10. I called at 11:00 and they said "I am sure he is on his way." Never showed up, no call back and now another week with a leaky cpap mask. Order a refiller a week in advance for my fathers visit to Washington. Delivered with a leak and empty by the time he got here. It was leaking when they dropped it off. I chose Lincare because it was close and there are multiple offices in our state. After the helpful intro to my new CPAP machine it has been down hill ever since. Unprofessional, unkind and impersonal service 3-4 tines and I had had enough. I thought I was the only one but while sitting in the entrance area I heard an employee speak disrespectful to a lady in her sixties. She came to complain to the receptionist. He apologized and said, "She's like that sometimes." Because I'm still in a contract I can't get away from Lincare but I was able to get my accessories through another company with much better service. I'm still shocked by Lincare's service. read more

I am on 24/7 oxygen and have been a Lincare customer (at other offices) for over 6 years with no problem..HOWEVER this Auburn office has the worst customer service of any I have ever encountered anywhere at all! My concentrater broke so I called the after hours number (it was 6:30 in the evening) and told the nice lady my problem. She promised to forward my call to the on-call guy for immediate service.......it took the guy over an hour to call back and then he told me he had no machine with which to replace my broken one!!! He never asked if I had any portable to see me through the night nor did he offer to bring me any larger portable tanks more suited for longer periods of use. I incredulously asked him what was I to do? Go sit at the hospital overnight?? He then offered me one machine "that makes a lot of noise" - and that is not preferable to nothing at all? I told him yes, I wanted the noisy one to which he countered "are you sure?" Hell yes I'm sure!!! ALL the concentraters are noisy but at least they provided air! At the end of it all, I will sit through the night with the portable tanks I already have here. God forbid I should bother this guy to do his job! Do yourselves a favor...MOVE to another area if you need oxygen because this one doesn't care at all. Their drivers are great but the rest of the company is a horror show. read more

I've worked in healthcare for a long time, including nationwide home medical equipment companies. My doctor ordered a walker for me from Auburn Lincare. I called and faxed them all the info needed for delivery of a walker. They confirmed they DO deliver walkers by the way. I call the day before my surgery to ask about the status of my walker. They still hadn't received permission from the doctor even though they had all the info already including the prescription medical need, dx, etc... When I asked why no one called me back to let me know the CSR (Sara?) said that their expertise is respiratory, not walkers. Too bad their expertise is not customer service. Tom, the man on the phone who identifies himself in the phone as the manager of this office, is unpleasant to deal with on the phone. We recently asked him for assistance in an emergency situation. He told us there was nothing he could do. After many other calls to other Lincare offices, we finally reached the company's special iCare customer service team. After they called Mr. Tom, he promptly got off his fanny and provided us the assistance we needed. Inexcusable. read more
