Plus, with those long pointy nails, I had to tell her not to scratch me! Meow! Rio is funny, friendly, and genuine. She puts people and their needs first, with a "I'm not going home unless you're satisfied" attitude. Hold on to a treasure like Rio. They are few and far between. Thank you for sticking with it and getting me my knee scooter today. I'm eternally indebted to you. Five stars all the way! Heck, I might break my other ankle just to experience getting another knee scooter from Rio. She's that good.

I am extremely disappointed with our experience with Bellevue Healthcare, and after what happened…read moretoday, I have serious concerns about the quality and safety of their mobility equipment repair work. My 92-year-old father-in-law relies on his Baja Wrangler scooter for his mobility and independence. About a year ago, we brought it to Bellevue Healthcare because it would suddenly lose power and die while he was using it. We described exactly what we were experiencing: the scooter was losing power. They told us the batteries needed to be replaced, so we replaced them. That seemed to help for a few months, but then the exact same problem returned. We brought the scooter back and again explained that it was suddenly losing power. This time, we were told the circuit board was the problem. Bellevue Healthcare kept his scooter for THREE WEEKS to replace the circuit board. When we finally got it back, it was still having the exact same problem. Now we are being told the problem may actually be the right rear motor because the rear tire has been wobbling and has damaged the rotor. But what happened next is by far the most concerning part of this experience. While examining the motor, Bellevue Healthcare had removed the right rear wheel. Afterward, the nut securing that wheel was not properly tightened. Today, while my 92-year-old father-in-law was actually driving the scooter, the wheel nearly came off. That is completely unacceptable. This isn't simply an inconvenience or a repair that didn't work. Returning mobility equipment to a 92-year-old with a wheel that was not properly secured created a potentially serious safety hazard. Beyond that, throughout this process there appears to have been no thorough diagnostic evaluation to determine WHY the scooter was repeatedly losing power. Instead, we have gone from batteries, to a circuit board, and now to a motor/rotor issue while the original problem has continued. When we questioned the previous repair, we were actually told that because WE described it as a "power issue," that was why they replaced the circuit board. Of course we described it as a power issue--the scooter was suddenly losing power. We are the customers, not mobility-equipment technicians. How could we possibly know whether the underlying cause was a battery, circuit board, motor, rotor, wheel, or something else? Diagnosing the cause of the symptoms is precisely why we brought the scooter to professionals. At this point, we have had multiple visits, multiple diagnoses, replacement batteries, a replaced circuit board, three weeks without the scooter for a repair that did not solve the problem, and now a wheel that was not properly secured after Bellevue Healthcare worked on it. This scooter is not recreational equipment. It is essential mobility equipment for a 92-year-old man. He should be able to trust that when his scooter is returned from a medical equipment repair company, it is safe for him to use. Customers should not be expected to diagnose their own equipment before bringing it in, and they certainly should not have to worry that a wheel may nearly come off after that equipment has been serviced. For a company entrusted with repairing equipment that elderly and disabled people depend on for their mobility and safety, I expected a dramatically higher standard of care, competence, and accountability. After our experience, I have lost confidence in Bellevue Healthcare's ability to safely and accurately service this equipment. While they previously were helpful when we purchased a wheelchair, their repair department is deeply disappointing and dangerous.

I have spent plenty of time picking her mind for help with my 93 year old friend for medical equipment. she has done this for a long time. and when you look in her store she has a lot of money in equipment invested. she has developed a pattern of doing business all her own,and that will not set well with some people, but when you ask why, you can understand why from her viewpoint. If Gail was paid for all the information she gives out for free she could have retired long ago for the retirement she deserves. If she sold her equipment for the price of most other stores she could also have retired by now. Barbara G. got to take advantage of all that experience for no extra cost. There have been many many countless numbers of people who have lived out the last of their days better and more comfortable because of Gail and her little shop and years of experience and kind heart, and for a lot less money!!! Some days will be better than others to be in her shop, there is a lot goes on behind the counter than you would think. The durable medical equipment business paid well years gone by. not so much today(think Medicare reimbursement). I would wrong her if I didn't go to her first for equipment because of what she has done for me and those many many countless others.

Later Mom and I went in to get fitted for a more size oriented walker. Gail spent quite a bit of time making sure that the walker we ordered was the right size for a tiny woman of 4'7". Her approach was alway helpful and she apologized whenever she had to step away to help another customer. Mom has had her new walker for about a month and she is walking taller and not as bent over. The new walker actually fits! We ended up purchasing a petite junior lift chair also. It is nice to see my Mom sitting in a chair that actually fits her tiny frame and helps her easily get to a standing position. Thanks for all your help, Gail!

Since I live 2-1/2 hours away, it isn't like I can just stop by if something isn't working. Then, it was a 30 day exchange of face masks and a "we are the only place that does this", actually they are not. Many places do, because it is a personal item to fit you with. Not really any experience with these machines, I would have thought there would have been maybe a short video, plug it in and actually put it on, and try it type of thing, but no. Take it home and set it up. The technician looked like she walked in off the street, hardly like a professional that should be touching your medical supplies, the office was dingy and the office hasn't seen an upgrade in about 30 years. Since I have tried to call several times, no one answers. GO ELSEWHERE!

So I paid cash and they refused ti give me my medical records so I could be reimbursed. After I contacted the Atorney General they reimbursed my cost, but to date I still have not received my medical records which by law they are required to supply at a patients request. This is an example of medical equipment company putting money ahead of customer care. My advice is use another company.

Plus, Id have to sue Multicare allowing the judge to affix responsibility. I'll still contact Multicare Concern and Grievance department. I'm beyond upset with Norco. Their main office is in Overland Park, Kansas. Maybe they'll care about treatment toward patients. There is no way anyone could no if Norco will drop the ball leaving a patient with a debt they do not reserve. Please, do not allow Norco to contract on behalf of a hospital or prescribing physicians. Research other oxygen subcontractors. Go elsewhere.
