After 14 years of being a customer with Lincare. I am told that they didn't renew there contract to supply oxygen to Humana health care insurance customers. So I'm losing my oxygen tanks. Since Lincare didn't renew there contract Humana won't pay. So much for the elderly who need oxygen. Lincare doesn't care. Otherwise I would have oxygen delivered under a contract with Humana. Can't reach them when necessary. No one answers their business phone. Took 2 weeks for them to pick up equipment after having to contact their national customer care service. Was very late in bringing oxygen to my home after hospital discharge. Was out when they finally showed up at 7 pm. I got home from hospital at 1 in the afternoon. My husband has a CPAP from Lincare. They hound us constantly to buy stuff. When we needed a new machine that insurance wouldn't pay for we went into the office. The young woman at the front desk barely looked up from her computer. Said we couldn't get one. We insisted talking to someone else. He took our phone number. A rep called. Didn't do any research before the call. Didn't know how much or when we could get it. We couldn't wait so bought one on CPAP.com for $500 less and had it shipped BEFORE they even got back with us with the specifics. Do not think local office will be better service. The online company will work with you, your doctor, and you order supplies when you need them not when they decide to hound you. We are done with them. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Never in my life have I dealt with a more incompetent uncaring medical organization. They make up their own rules. I had to purchase my own mask. The first two they gave me were the wrong size and they refused to provide me with another so I had to buy my own. It now needs replacement. and they are refusing to do so. read more

If possible would give zero as the lack of followup and concern resulted in my husband not being able to get his order that was submitted 20 days prior. There was an infuriating lack of urgency and seemingly lack of incentive to do business with a new customer. Despite repeatedly, dropping the ball, there was no attempt to rectify their failure when we were clued into the problem and reached out for assistance. Worst customer service ever. They delivered suction machine without tubing.Took over 1 week to get it. Had to personally go to office to pick it up. I needed neb supplies, again these were ordered a week ago and I never received them. They told me I had a neb machine since last year which I don't. I am an RN and know what it looks like and would know if it was in my home. Luckly my husband's pneumonia got better on antibiotics. It would have been nice to do breathing tx and suction prn. If I could give zero I would. Worst customer service. EVER! My mom was supposed to have her O2 delivered Monday March 22. Never showed up. My sister has been dealing with this company since that time. Rude costumer service. Berating and belittling to their customers who depend on them for oxygen. Ya know the thing you kind of need to live???? Mom fortunately (unfortunately) got stuck in the hospital getting a pluerex drain placed and can't come home without oxygen (ya know she might die without it) still as of Friday March 26 no oxygen has been delivered and no word as to when. Lincare might need to review their customer service training and learn how to treat customers, whom depend on them, right. Also be more helpful to family members trying to arrange necessary medical items for their loved ones and take some pressure off of their already full plates. Shame on Lincare and your horrible ratchet customer service. Update. As of March 26, 1610 o2 has been delivered. Thank god my sick mom can come home from the hospital tomorrow. To Gabby, customer care specialist; consider getting a new job. You are as unprofessional as they come. I spent 2 days trying to find a company that will bill Medicare for a Nebulizer. Kohl's NO, Walgreens No, Lincare does but you can't get through on the phone to anyone. I was on hold for 25 minutes then gave up. The yelp reviews are terrible for Lincare so I gave up. I searched through Medicare.gov. they said CVS and Baker's. CVS I called they do not. BAKER"S YES THEY DO . I am posting this to help others out there. Just go to Baker's first. read more

I didn't think I could find a pharmacy worse than Kohl's. I certainly did it when I ran into Lincare. I've called three times trying to get a nebulizer. The doctor has sent the prescription twice and still, they haven't been able to fill. I've spoken to three different representatives and no one seems able to help. The company is either gigantic with no computers to communicate with each other or very small and they're just dumb. So, I'm going to walgreens where I should've started. read more

We have oxygen delivered regularly, my husband has emphysema he can't live without oxygen tanks. Lincare called and said tanks would be delivered Tuesday. Perfect. Never showed up. Texted Wednesday morning said "your Lincare delivery is scheduled for today August 30, 2023. Type 1 to confirm, etc. Typed 1 they texted back said thank we will see you today. They didn't show up. Didn't show up Thursday, Friday no text, they called about noon, we were in doctors appt. couldn't answer. Called back when we got out she proceeded to tell me too bad you should have answered you need to reschedule. Sorry we are not psychic, had no idea who was calling, didn't know they finally decided to deliver. Called main office she put it on us of course our fault we didn't answer the phone right away. Can't get oxygen until Tuesday. WHAT????? You obviously are in the wrong business, you don't deliver pizza, you deliver life. read more

I am surprised by all the negative comments. I switched to Lincare when Kohll's stopped supplying my liquid oxygen several months ago. They have always been pleasant and helpful through the process. I usually speak with Gabby who has been nothing but professional and friendly. I get my tank filled quickly when I call; the delivery person is always helpful and friendly as well. read more

This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is slow, unprofessional, and unreliable. They did not show up with my concentrator when they said they would show up. It didn't arrive until days later. They have never provided me with new tubing. The billing department is a complete joke! They did not bill my insurance company for two months and they made it look like i would be paying $21.00 a month and then surprise three months later they said no know you owe $85.00 a month. The sad part is I had surgery on my face and I was unable to use the concentrator for two months but I didn't think too much about it because I thought it was only costing me $21.00 a month. This is the first time I have reviewed a business or service on-line, but my experiences yesterday were so frustrating I could not resist. I received my first supply of oxygen last Tuesday morning after I was discharged from the hospital on Monday night. (Today is Saturday.) I wish I had read the reviews before contracting with Lincare because my experiences of yesterday definitely support the claims of EXCEPTIONALLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I was having some difficulty with the small portable tank that enables me to leave my home. I called the office shortly after lunch and explained the problem to the gal who answered the phone, She said she would have someone come over to see me, I told her that a phone call would probably suffice, but she insisted that she would have someone come over. NO ONE EVER CAME!! Later that afternoon I called again. She said that since someone was still around, she would contact them and they would call. NO ONE EVER CALLED!! It is now Saturday morning. I called the answering service and asked for the on-call service personnel. She asked me to describe the problem and then explained that the on-call personnel could only deal with concentrators since they did did not know enough about the portable tanks. We needed cpap supplies for our parents back in Sept(?) only to find that their current provider was no longer in network. Begin the attempt to get supplies through Lincare. Can't reach the local office because no one answers the phone. When the call rolls to the call center in another part of the country, they send a 'high importance' notice to the local office to call you, which is ignored. You can't show up at their place of business without an appt and because no one answers the phone or returns a call, you can't make an appointment. Call to corporate management (customer advocate) results in their transferring the call to the local office, which of course isn't answered, and rolls to the out of state call center. Hung up or disconnected on more than one attempt. When you do finally get a real person on the phone in the office, they say you need authorization forms, which no one has ever told you in the months you've been trying to get supplies. I have never been so unhappy with lincare, the billing is different each month and I have tryed to call 5 differnt phone number to speak to a person and NEVER got them to answer, I been on hold for as long as 30 mins. and still no answer. I have to agree with the other comments about Lincare. The lack of communication and lack of professionalism was astounding. I sat in their office with my Mom and listened to the staff use full names of patients and make comments about patients health issues. From using expletives such as "Jesus Christ" and "fuck". I am not sure if they are Licensed Health Care Professionals (i.e.: Registered Nurses or Medical Doctors) but they are definitely violating HIPAA with strangers sitting in their Lobby. I am not sure they have the education to be making all of these comments about people's Health and their illness. Calling the office, no one knew what was going on. Everyone used the excuse the computer was slow, or the other comment was they didn't have the paperwork. It was so frustrating to say the least. It took over 6 weeks to get my Mom's machine. The only redeeming person was Dori. She was the only one that knew what was going on, was professional and had some kindness. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. read more

To make a long story short, they ran me through unnecessary tests, and then after about 10 days refused to take or return my calls. Unethical company! When I went to the office to pick up my CPAP machine I was asked the question of in the event of a disaster would I stay home or go somewhere else. Finally Lori advised me they ask this question to get an alternative address from you so they have a second address to go to if they need to get the CPAP machine back and your not cooperating with the return. How sneaky! The CPAP machine I was given had to be used. I immediately got sick from it. Every night I used it I keep getting sicker to the point that I couldn't even use the CPAP. I cleaned the tubing every morning. After discontinuing the CPAP, when I started to get better I used the CPAP for a couple of hours and woke up sicker than I had been initially! That reconfirmed that the CPAP machine was making me sick. Returning it was a headache. My doctor had to fax Lincare a note for them to pick it up even though they told me they would send me a UPS return. I received a call after the return to reorder supplies. I spoke to someone at the F Street location to take me off of the calling list and they said they would. A couple weeks later I got another call to reorder supplies. I spoke to Rick at the F Street location who advised me to speak directly with the company that reorders the equipment because they don't have anything to do with stopping the calls. I have spoke to someone at the reorder company and was told I wouldn't receive any more calls. Very unprofessional company! read more
