The receptionist was very rude- she was short in her responses and was rushing me through the payment process. I haven't been to a European wax center for 10+ years so I asked if I could get the free wax, which she simply said "no". It seemed grimy and dirty in the front desk check in area with excess boxes around and dirty plexiglass at the desk. Then, my waxer did not even talk or spark conversation with me. (I know that an important part of a wax is the distraction...) I was the one asking the questions and keeping the conversation rolling. She didn't explain to me what she was going to do. It was hard to relax in her presence. In terms of the waxing- she would put on pretty large pieces/areas of wax. In my experience, I have had people use smaller strips so that it was more precise and not as painful. It also seemed like she lost her grip on the wax sometimes so she took smaller pieces of the larger piece of wax. I asked how much the inner thy add on would be and she said "$12", so I said that I would like to add it. (It was actually $20). At the end, I looked down and she missed some spots. I asked her to wax another strip where there was a HUGE line of hair (I have no idea how she missed it). There were some sparse hairs that she missed too and she told me to "tweeze them because it turns out I have very sensitive skin". I knew that I had sensitive skin.... I will not be returning due to their lack of professionalism and experience.

Jasmine is the person I see for my services and is efficient, meticulous, professional and a delight to be around. Another thing I appreciate about this place is they are very respectful of their clients time. I'm a busy working professional and don't have the schedule that would allow me to sit and wait in a waiting room for an extended period. The client as well as the business are held accountable and have a set schedule to keep. I know I will be able to make my next obligation with no concerns because of waiting. The prices here are also unbeatable. The packages have saved me a ton of money.

My nail tech did great until she was painting a design and on one nail, the straight line was very crooked. I asked her if she could fix it and she didn't speak English so she called over a man who knew a little bit. I explained to him I wanted the crooked line to be straight (like all the other nails). He responded "what? You want it be perfect?" I said "yes, I want this line fixed please". My tech and the man began speaking in a different language so I turned on my phone's translation app. They were talking about me in a different language saying "I'm not going to make it perfect, I'm going to make it worse". The man responded with "charge her $60, she hasn't been here before". I paid ($60, they said $50 when I called earlier), didn't tip (that extra $10 was the tip in my eyes), and never went back. Now I go to Infinity Nails NW nearby and they are amazing. Do not go to Tips and Toes.

So this review is for the place specifically as a hair salon. Haven't had anything else done there…read moreso can't comment on nails etc. But wow - what a setup! First off, I love the layout. There's a bar area where you can drink a cup of coffee (thank you Lord) while you get foiled, with magazines and a TV, and it's open and warm into the rest of the salon. Then the decor is great too, modern but colorful and interesting. Great for getting those creative juices flowing during your biannual hair-must-change-drastically crisis! Which brings me to the true gem of this place. Erica. She is actually an artist with hair and she'll be straight up with you about what ideas are good ideas and what ideas are not so good. I've pulled out pictures of the general idea I've had, and she's talked through with me what we can do and what to expect - and if she can't do an excellent job with it, she won't. Full stop. I've shown for a 2h appointment before with an idea that would take 2 at a rush and 3 to be perfect, and she actually had me reschedule (just did a quick cut) so she could give it the time and attention it would need. The colors look GREAT. I stay, if obviously not "natural," at least within the range of natural for the purposes of professionalism at my job, and she manages to bring out all the highs and lows and depths I never knew my relatively thin hair could achieve!! I've sent several friends and coworkers her way which is the ultimate positive review. You want a color whiz, head to Erica. She'll deliver, and keep you relaxed and engaged while she does it!

Heather did an amazing job foiling and toning my hair to give me ash blonde locks. Heather and the rest of the staff all wore face masks, sanitized their stations and sinks between clients and sanitized clients' hands upon entry to the salon. They also have you call when you arrive, and then come out to get you , in order to ensure the number of people inside at one time is controlled. Finally... I loved the ease of booking online.
