I tried this salon for the first time with high hopes after reading good reviews. Made an appointment with someone highly recommended in the reviews. When I showed up, I waited 20 minutes past the appointment time and got someone else. I would have been OK with this but the pedicure was terrible. My nails weren't filed. One coat of nail polish was applied and it's bumpy in spots, doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the nail. She got some polish on the surrounding skin and didn't clean it up. It looks like I had a child paint my nails at home. read more

My legs and feet were in dire need of a refresh and in between my 12 hour shifts at work and being a first time mom, I was excited to get a pedicure for the first time since before I was pregnant. I called ahead and was told they were currently busy but they encouraged me to make an appointment in an hour and a half when they had availability. I proceeded to make an appointment for 1:30pm. When I got there, I arrived about 15 mins early at 1:15. The host didn't say much to me or offer for me to take a seat - in fact I didn't get much of a greeting at all. Although sometimes salons have availability earlier than the stated appointment time, I also didn't mind waiting until my appointment so I proceeded to make myself comfortable and sat myself in the lobby area. While I was waiting in the lobby chair, I noticed that there was an ipad at the desk for check-in. No one told me to check in or asked if I had an appointment. I proceeded to check myself in regardless. When I sat back down I saw that another woman was waiting near the polish stands. When she was taken back, I went to look for what color I could use for my pedicure. Again, no one told me to go ahead and look through to choose a color. I know it's self-explanatory but some communication really makes you feel at home. By the time I was taken back to get seated, it was 1:50pm. I had been waiting in the lobby for 35 minutes, 20 of which were past my appointment time. No apology was given at this time. Speaking of communication, the whole place was dead silent. The workers weren't speaking to each other, the patrons weren't speaking, no one looked to be smiling. There was no music in the background. I felt like everyone was either stressed or uneasy and I had a feeling other people's appointments were pushed behind as well. I looked at the patrons near me and there were 3 people (besides me) seated to get pedicures, 2 for manicures, and only 3 workers - and none of them looked close to being done. They were working a bit slower than other nail salons I have been at which made me think they were new. This made me seriously worried. I was originally going to get the 1 hour long pedicure but at this rate I thought my appointment would get extra behind. Not only that but I also had extra errands to run and as a first time mom I'm already anxious about leaving my baby - especially on a day that I have off and would rather be spending time with her. I checked the time again and at this point it was 2pm and I had been waiting for 45 minutes. I was debating with my husband over text if I should just leave. I felt really bad but I also feel like waiting so long for an appointment without an ample warning is unacceptable and I had other things I needed to do. I proceeded to get up and the nail tech working on the lady next to me looked up, as well as the host. I regrettably told them I have to leave since my appointment was 30 minutes ago and I have other things to do. They said a simple "sorry" and before things would get too uncomfortable for everyone (definitely not my intention) I fast-walked out of there. I later received a voicemail from the host stating that she was sorry and that one of the techs had a family emergency, and that by the time I walked out she looked up and I was gone. That is incorrect because our of the corner of my eye I saw that both the host and techs ( in fact, everyone) were looking at me as I left. Regardless, she said she would offer me a 15% discount for next time. I may decide to come in again in the future - maybe in a few months, first thing in the morning when no one else is there. I think since this business is newer there are a few kinks to work out and maybe in a few months the workers will get faster at what they do as well. I'm a fairly patient person and don't make a habit of writing poor reviews but I think the customer service experience could be improved here. A simple greeting, instructions to check in, and a heads-up that they had an employee who had an emergency and that the wait would be " _____ amount of time " could go a long way. read more

I booked an online appointment and arrived 15 minutes early. I was well greeted by staff and received a water while waiting all but a couple minutes before Alex - my nail technician - arrived. My pedicurist was 15 min late getting to me( was there with a friend same appt time) she left multiple times for long durations, ( my friends person was there the whole time taking care of her), my scrub was only applied to the front of my calves and never did get the leg massage unless you count spreading the scrub on the front, did not cut my toe nails straight across they are janky! Both big toes nails cut so deep on side I'm going to have ingrown big toe nails on each. All of my nails are cut down into the nail bed. They are so sensitive. They're is actual nail bed showing. You ask why I didn't complain while she was hurting me? I did once when I involuntarily jerked but after that I thought she was just rough not actually doing damage... owner said she would refund me but we will see. I Will be more" present" next time. People wonder why some women are particular with service.? Because we have had such terrible service in the past we are sensitive to future service. I came here to have my wedding nails done, and with a friend, a bridesmaid of mine. We both had the worst trouble getting them off of our hands, but that wasn't at all what I was worried about. I had several open cuts on the inside of my finger tips meets nail area because the hard glue they used did not just go on the nail, they glued their nail things on the fingers too. I have NEVER, I repeat NEVER had this happen to me. The pain is so bad in the fingers due to the sensitive nerves, and I am sad they got so much of my pinky nails off because it caused a lot of pain to have nails open into my bare skin. Had made an appointment 2 weeks ahead of time with a certain nail person for a pedicure and was told when I got there she was not available because someone else needed her. The person that needed her looked to be a rude teenager that kept staring at my disabled son the whole time like she had never seen a disabled person before. She didn't look like she needed any sort of special help or attention that required me being bumped. The staff that did the pedicure was very nice. It wasn't the greatest pedicure though but it was okay. The place seemed clean. I tip very well and still did of course but the person that I scheduled with missed out and I wonder if she even got a tip from the girl she worked on. No one was talking the vibe was sort of off but I was not happy with the young teen making my son uncomfortable, I would have said something to her but that would have embarrassed him. I finally started staring at her and she stopped. It really ruined the experience but I also was not impressed with making an appointment and being bumped. If it had been a senior citizen or someone that needed special attention or a certain staff I would have understood. I won't be going back as it was just not what I'm used to, I will continue to look for good place in town. read more
