She is such an amazing and intelligible doctor! The entire staff is friendly and helpful... everything is well organized and runs smoothly, which allows patients a stress free doctors visit (rare these days, in my opinion). I have been treated for multiple things by Dr. ranging from chronic eczema to laser hair removal treatments - and my sister visits the office often for facials by the esthetician. Overall, our visits have been outstanding and we are thrilled that we can now catch our Doc in Palm Desert and San Clemente (we are often driving around SoCal so it's convenient to be able to catch them where ever we will be for the week!). STRONGLY recommend this office for anyone out there searching... I am the Queen of Skepticism when it comes to medicine and am constantly scouring the internet for doctors because I have yet to find many that I can wholeheartedly trust with mine and my family's health and needs... Dr. Maryam Shahsavari Sickinger is one doctor that I know I don't have to worry or second guess a thing when I visit.

Two of my sisters love her and kept telling me to go and remove my dark spots on my face. It took me a year to consider and I'm so sorry I did! She came in- I shared about my dark spots. Before I knew it she was freezing every mark I had on my face and burned my moles off my chest! She said it would look better this way. I returned in February, 2926 only to hear her tell me that my skin scars easily!!! If she is a DR. Why wouldn't she tell me this before she proceeds? It is now June and scars are lightening with other creams that another derm prescribed. She is not professional or forthcoming as she is supposed to be a Dr. of Dermatology.

After what happened I wish we hadn't walked in. The floors are gross. The ceiling and walls are worse. Everyone including the NP was dismissive and rude. But all of that can be overlooked if the care is good, however I think what followed is borderline malpractice. The spot my wife pointed out on the bridge of her nose the 'NP' Kaylin Monday identified as pre-cancerous and recommended she freeze it with liquid nitrogen. She said it may take several treatments and to be sure to follow up with her after the initial treatment. The problem is that she FROZE THE WRONG SPOT!. We noticed when we got in the car that she had sprayed the side of my wife's nose, nowhere near the bridge. Which means the spot of concern... was left untreated!. We were still very concerned about the spot that was left untreated and didn't have trust in this office to return. We found a doctor able to see her two days later for a second opinion. They immediately identified the spot on the bridge of the nose (the area my wife was concerned about) and were appalled that this area was left untreated because it was glaringly obvious that something was wrong. They carefully targeted the CORRECT spot with the liquid nitrogen. They also mentioned there really wasn't a need to treat the area more than once. The next day you could hardly even tell where the professional doctor had treated as the scab is miniscule , not even a 16th the size of a pea. In contrast, the frozen area where NP Monday marred my wife's face is a very large, angry scab about the size of a dime. Do what you want with this information, but we wouldn't recommend going here and are deeply troubled with what happened to my wife's nose and hope it does not leave any scarring. What would have happened if we trusted Kaytlin and we walked away with the pre-cancerous spot left untreated??? I hope this review helps protect people. This shouldn't have happened.

I felt VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I would not refer anyone nor ever attempt to see her again. She is not at all polite nor professional. I will never make an appointment to see her again. Dr. Maryam Sickinger prescribed some lotion which I already have and which is nothing more than rubbing alcohol. Then she suggested I put olive oil on the itchy spots. She pretty much treated me like a senile old man. I can assure my readers that I am in full command of my faculties. I have never felt so bad in all my life and I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN HER OFFICE AGAIN!

Doc came and spent 10 minutes with me (no exaggeration, I clocked the time). She was text book pleasant. Left feeling no better off than before I came. Front desk spent more time with me on payment than anything else yet was unknowledgable about their Patient Portal and made no attempt to find out answers related to questions for using it. Sadly I don't think I will return here. $150 for 10 minutes of McService doesn't seem like a wise use of hard earned money.
