We were seated pretty quickly, and first round of drink orders taken. First sign this isn't a top of the line place: drinks came in disposable plastic cups. Our server was friendly, despite being a bit overwhelmed by all the orders. Got fried pickle appetizer. Not bad at all, hot and with a nice crunch. Came with a very tasty dipping sauce. My side salad was very simple but fresh, and I got a balsamic vinagrette dressing which was good. Several of us ordered chicken wings, and they came out hot and nicely crispy. We tried a variety of the sauces and toppings - all were good EXCEPT garlic parmesan: nasty stuff. Tasted like feet. Chicken pot pie was more like a thick chicken soup with a pastry on top. That said, it was very good and the pastry was wonderful. Just not a classic pot pie at all. Several got the cheesesteak, which was average. Bread was kind of dry, but it was okay. Burgers were a hit, as was the Salmon. They have some very tasty desserts, although I suspect they are sourced at Costco or something like that. I base this on similarity to those stores' offerings and the too-perfect uniformity of slices. Not to say they weren't good though. Everyone thought they were. I'd go back if I was in the area and hungry, but it's nothing special. Not great, not bad. Kinda what you'd expect along the road in Greencastle

Service was prompt and not at all overly bothersome, so we got plenty of breathing room to enjoy our meal without constant interruptions. We were there between the typical weekday lunch and dinner peak times, and yet a steady stream of patrons stopping in to pick up their orders seemed to reinforce the notion that this place is worth returning to! We'll definitely be back to try their ice cream next time!

I can confirm that this place is amazing. I ate there every other day while I was in town. I ate their sandwich's, burgers, and I had to get a different milkshake each time I was there. You should always be in the lookout for their weekly specials which are always good from my experience. Some standouts for me were the breakfast burger, bbq sandwich, and tres leches milkshake (which they only serve once a year). If you pull up and wait in your car. They will come out and take your order and bring it to you once it's done which I thought was pretty cool and efficient as they can get busy and inside seating can become scarce. Servers are always attentive and professional. I went enough that they actually remembered me. Really gives off the small town vibes. Overall a great experience and I would recommend anyone traveling through Greencastle or the surrounding area to stop and give this place a try.

(On my way home, I decided to give this place a try) I ordered a California burrito. The waitress asked, "if I wanted cheese on top." I was confused by her odd question and asked for it on the side. (she never told me it was a $2 upcharge & the menu made no mention of it.) The burrito arrived at room temperature. The inside meat, rice, and beans were all dried out from sitting. I ordered a burrito. All they did was put the filling on a plate and tucked the tortilla into the sides and called it a burrito. I asked the waitress for a burrito size tortilla, so I can make my own burrito with the mess on the plate. (In ordered to eat it you had to eat it with a fork otherwise.) She comes back with the smallest flour tortilla in the building and tells me that's what they give when a customer asks for a tortilla. ( of course, it's almost a $1 extra fee) I said, " I would like what I asked for and would pay the additional upcharge. She initially refused, so I began to leave. The other waitress intervened agreed to bring me one. It was the most ridiculous thing ever! When the side of cheese arrived it was a cheese sauce. What I was given was a small condiment, 2-oz plastic container (of watered down fake cheese sauce for $2. (The menu made no mention of any if this.) Even after the fake cheese cooled , it still remained liquid. (They are charging $1.00 a ounce for fake cheese sauce, that doesn't even taste like cheese.) The salsa for chips taste like tomatoe sauce and flavorless. Both waitresses were horribly unattentive, they take order and you never see them again. (There was only me and two other people in the restaurant.) Upon check out she takes my debit card & adds a 3% fee. Then she has the nerve to hand me the small machine and expects me to choose the tip I'm hoping to pay! The machine pre established choices start at 15% and up to 25%! I laugh and say. " I will not be tipping. The food & service was horrible, you blindsided me with a upcharge & once you dropped off my food I never saw you again. " She asks me why. I tell her again & she says, " that's what everyone does in town and walks away." STAY, STAY, STAY, AWAY FROM THAT PLACE!

While using the restroom, I brought in a fountain soda cup to refill afterward. Upon returning to the counter, I was approached by a staff member (who I later learned was the manager) who made a disparaging remark about my cup not being from their store. When I went to check out, he directed the cashier to void my transaction and charge me a higher price for the refill, apparently because he disapproved of the cup's brand. Setting aside the fact that this cost me less than a dollar, what stood out was the way it was handled. Rather than addressing the situation professionally or discreetly, the manager chose to make a snide comment and then use his position to override a routine transaction. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and unwelcoming, and it reflects poorly on the store's management. I won't be returning to this location. It's disappointing that a matter of fifty to seventy-five cents was treated as an opportunity to embarrass a customer rather than simply process a routine refill. I'd encourage corporate to look into how this manager interacts with customers, as this is not the kind of experience that should represent the brand.

I ended up coming through this area a few times and with this Sheetz visit, I think I completed the few that were in this area. I usually need to stop part way on my way home to use the facilities or get fuel. For today's visit I needed the facilities and maybe some food (I hadn't eaten at that point). This is as near to a brand new store as you can get. The lot is huge, on a corner at a busy intersection. Along with a large lot, the store is large as well. Inside, it has that truck stop feel that some of the newer locations has. Big, bright, nice sized seating area. I went in and tapped the screen to place my order. While it is being prepared I make my way to the facilities. The facilities were immaculate, which were a bit of a surprise given how busy the store was. The food was as I expected, and missed. I made sure to get enough to enjoy on my ride and then for when I got to my destination. But before I left the lot, I took a few minutes to enjoy the night air. I putzed around outside for a few minutes and took in a phone call before jumping back into the car to head the rest of the way home.
