This place has a nice staff, but lazy. The sweet tea was out, no one wears mask, no social distancing and it takes 45 minutes to get your food when it's not even busy. I would not recommend this place. read more

I'm really surprised to see any negative reviews of Linda's. I've never had a bad experience and I've been here over a dozen times. Their food speaks for itself. Everything we've ever tried has been amazing. The chicken of course. The gumbo, it all taste like your grandma cooked it. A real authentic home made taste. Went by Linda's chicken and fish. Had seen it in the area decided to visit and try the fried chicken. Ordered the four piece Fried chicken mixed with the mashed potato and onion rings also got a hamburger. The fried chicken was OK nothing extraordinary about it, maybe i'm used to Popeyes even KFC The mash potatoes were good and the gravy OK I liked the onion rings my wife got the hamburger it had lettuce tomato pickles it was average As far as the price . As far as what we paid it seemed a little high for what we purchased That's why I gave it three stars read more

Just had my first experience with Linda's. Advised employee was my first time & ask what she recommended. Ordered the 4 piece chicken, small order of livers & fried squash. She charged me for 4 pieces of chicken, received 3, really salty. Livers were overcooked & hard...my dogs wouldn't eat them...What dog won't eat livers ??? Tried the squash, tasty but so greasy I couldn't eat that either....once was enough for me, food not worth the $18.00 & had to throw half of it away. Won't be going back. read more

My husband and I are huge fans of Linda's in Watson. We have been going often since moving to the area in 2014 and we love it. Their food is delicious. Most of the employees are teenagers, and I've found them to always be friendly, respectful, and hard-working. Sometimes the wait is a little longer than a typical drive-thru but the food is very much worth the wait (and you can call and order ahead too). I usually get a hamburger & split a large fry with my husband. He usually gets a cheeseburger and the chocolate ice cream. We've had times where we were in the mood for a poboy or chicken instead of burgers. Let me tell you, it's all so good! Highly recommend. read more

I have literally been eating at Linda's for over 40 years. I'm not going to get into how the chicken was 100 times better at the old building, because nobody can do anything about that. They still have the best milkshakes within a thirty mile radius, have the best fried squash I've ever had in my life, and have decent fried chicken in a drive thru close to home. However, I have had more messed up orders in the past two months, than in my 40+ years combined eating there. God forbid you ask for any sauce or condiments, they seem to purposely leave them out of the order you waited 20 minutes for, after promising at the window they will get you some. You order will mixed up with a smile, usually, unless the teenager serving you is having a bad day. I miss the old days there, the new days weren't so bad, but lately the train has been coming off the rails with service. read more

Purchased a fried turkey for Thanksgiving, and received what appeared to be a large chicken, possibly a broiler hen. The thing couldn't have weighed 8lbs. So disappointed, but the kicker was that it didn't even taste good. It had no flavor, it wasn't injected, and it was dry as a popcorn fart. After waiting at the speaker so long I was convinced they forgot I was there (a solid 20 minutes) a voice finally came back over the speaker and asked what I wanted. I said "a 3 piece mixed please" & then I was informed that Linda's CHICKEN & fish didn't have ANY chicken so I (disappointedly) ordered a burger poboy with Mac and a sweet tea. I pulled around to pay, handed my card over waited another 10 minutes, got my food without a drink, asked for my drink, got my card back and FINALLY left. Once I tried to food the burger poboy was decent but the mac wasn't anything to brag about. Bottom line they could have saved me a lot of time and aggravation if they would have told me they didn't have chicken when I pulled up instead of making me wait 20 minutes, they could have had my drink ready instead of making me ask for it after they gave me my food. Now I've been here quite a few times. They have a variety of different food you can get. The fried chicken is very good as is the fried shrimp and Catfish. The homemade onion rings are the bomb as well. As for the Hamburgers, they are huge but they have absolutely no taste whatsoever. I don't know where they get their meat but it taste like it came from a elementary schools cafeteria. So if you go there, stick to the chicken and fish. read more

I love the food here, I have been eating here for years. Great comfort food. It seems to be ran by high schoolers now and it takes forever to get the food if ordering for a family. Lindas has went at a total down slope. Not as far as customers but as far as prices increasing and bad service. The past months have been horrible.
