At one point, there was a Dogtopia that opened up 5 min. from where I work, and I made the mistake of switching daycares because it was much closer. Ended up bringing my pup back here after she was injured at that Dogtopia and I never heard back from the owner. I will never make that mistake again. Wag is so much better in terms of communication and how responsive they are to anything I bring up. Plus their staff is amazing with my pup, every time we come in they know her and are so excited to see her and vice versa. She practically forgets about me when they lead her in. Lol. And she always leaves exhausted after a day here because they have so many activities and cute little crafts they do with the pups depending on which day of the week you go. Also the indoor pool. I also boarded her here for about a week during a vacation last year and felt so at ease knowing she was safe and in such good hands. I received updates constantly. That's another thing too, the text communication makes things so quick and easy, especially for appointments. Plus they keep on top of vaccinations and fecals, which is so important. I could go on and on, but this place is like the Hilton for doggy daycares, but it's actually affordable. Lol. You won't find a better spot for your fur baby.

He has groomed our long-haired rescue Dachshund 3 times now. I was very worried about handing her over to him, as she suffers from a great deal of social anxiety and separation anxiety and has been known to growl and snap at strangers. The first two times Roman groomed her, she came out looking beautiful and surprisingly relaxed. I was thrilled. The next time did not go as well, unfortunately, but Roman handled it like the amazing pro he is. He had groomed my dog entirely, but when he went to cut her nails, she had a diarrhea attack in his van. He explained this to me, patiently. I was mortified, but Roman's concern was not for himself or his van, but only for my dog-- he wanted to figure out what triggered her response to make sure it didn't happen again. I feel lucky indeed to call myself a client of Roman and his Dog Gone Clean Mobile Salon!

We elected to go with a mobile groomer so we wouldn't displace the dogs by taking them to the vet or pet store. I have to say Roman made each one feel so comfortable and he did a great job with them. He also surprised each one with a bandana. We will definitely be using him again.

My mom brought our dogs in for a grooming appointment, but after keeping them there for about three hours, they were never groomed. She was told they wouldn't be cut because of matting, despite believing it was only light matting. If a groomer feels they can't safely perform a service, that's their decision, but the way the situation was handled is what was so disappointing. According to my mom, the pricing kept changing throughout the conversation, which understandably left her confused. When she tried to ask questions and understand why the price had changed and why the grooming wasn't being done, she felt she was met with hostility instead of professionalism. She told me the owner even called the police during the disagreement. What concerns me the most is what happened when my mom went to pick up our dogs. The owner let the dogs out and opened the front door before handing my mom their leashes, creating a situation where they could have run into the street. Thankfully they didn't, but that could have ended very differently. As pet owners, we expect our dogs to be handled safely at all times. One of my dogs also has severe anxiety, so knowing she spent three hours in a kennel only to leave without receiving any grooming makes the entire experience even more upsetting. I understand that every business has policies and that groomers may refuse service when necessary. However, clear communication, consistent pricing, respectful customer service, and, above all, the safety of customers' pets should never be compromised. Based on my family's experience, we will not be returning. If she was willing to let my dogs run on the street who knows what she does do the dogs behind closed doors when no one is watching this proved it's about the money she earns and not about no about caring for the dogs and giving them the right treatment.
