Perhaps worst of all, coupled with the price increases and policy changes, their staff members have been borderline rude the last few times I've gone. They've ignored me when I walked in until I greet them myself and even then they act as if it's a burden that I came for my scheduled appointment. It was very weird and uncomfortable. I'm disappointed because I used to recommend them highly, but I think there are better options in the area when considering the exorbitant prices, required follow up visits, and unfriendly staff.

He has groomed our long-haired rescue Dachshund 3 times now. I was very worried about handing her over to him, as she suffers from a great deal of social anxiety and separation anxiety and has been known to growl and snap at strangers. The first two times Roman groomed her, she came out looking beautiful and surprisingly relaxed. I was thrilled. The next time did not go as well, unfortunately, but Roman handled it like the amazing pro he is. He had groomed my dog entirely, but when he went to cut her nails, she had a diarrhea attack in his van. He explained this to me, patiently. I was mortified, but Roman's concern was not for himself or his van, but only for my dog-- he wanted to figure out what triggered her response to make sure it didn't happen again. For only $5, you really can't beat the price. The ladies here are super pleasant and prompt. They quickly attended to my dog in the small lobby and we were in and out in less than 10 minutes. My dog is short haired, so I certainly can't comment on the grooming itself, nor the baths because I do that myself. I did have them do an anal gland expression on our first visit, which was cheap, but only done externally. My vet had to later do an internal expression because my dog's glands were still somewhat full. Overall, their prices on average, do seem in line with other groomers'.

Just arrived at 4pm on November 30th to use the self-serve dog wash which is supposed to be open…read moreuntil 5pm. Both dog wash rooms were closed -- Doors locked, lights off. I walked around the entire building to find an employee for help I couldn't find anyone. Another dog owner drove up with their pet and said that he had called before bringing his dog today and was told over the phone by the staff that the dog wash was open until 5pm. He also discovered that it was closed. It's incredibly inconsiderate of this business to lie over the phone and say they would be open until 5pm when that wasn't true. We will never return. The other dog owner recommended the dog wash at Tractor Supply in Wallingford. We will be going there from now on for our weekly washes.

The 2 dog washing stalls are clean and roomy and they have all the supplies there for you or bring your own. The tubs are elevated so your dog is about waist height. You clip the dogs collar to a short leash that keeps them safely in place and give them a warm bath and dry them with vacs and blowers.
