We went here for lunch one Saturday. It's been in the same place for decades and I have heard a variety of opinions on this place, so I was happy to finally give it a try. The place has ample parking spaces outside (but weekends can be tricky as it's 1/2 block from the courthouse square). Inside it is casual with a lot of higher stools. Very comfy, but I could do without the TVs over the bar. One person in our party had what I can only describe as a MASSIVE chimichanga with shredded chicken. It was so massive he took half of it home. The rest of us had the burrito bowls which are half the cost of the massive chimichanga but also looked noticeably smaller than I imagined. They were served in medium sized deep bowls, but were barely half full. It felt like they are trying to keep prices down, but I was left feeling hungry after this. My wife and her friend thought it was an ok size. I will say the staff were great and they have a great beer selection. 20oz beers for the win! I keep thinking of that chicken chimichanga and will have to go back just to scratch that itch, and soon. read more

If I could give this place six stars I would. Let me start off with the service. Steve, our waiter, is one of the best I've ever seen. He loves his job and he loves people and you can tell that he does. Great job, man! The salsa was excellent as was the chicken bowl and the sliders. The place was a little crazy because of St. Patrick's Day, but we loved the restaurant and loved the location and everyone that was working there I was doing a great job. I stopped by on a Wednesday around lunchtime. About 1/3 seated. Bright and lots of TVs and music playing. Friendly server sat me by the window. One of the lunch specials is a 1/2 Ruben and Santa Fe cheddar soup. It's hard to resist either! Food came quickly. It was the right sized portion for lunch. The soup was creamy, cheesy, and flavorful. The Ruben was grilled and the kraut and pastrami were delicious. A perfect combo. And then the server said they had desert. When I saw chocolate bread pudding, I was done for! It came out hot and chocolatey! It was so decadent. Rich sauce and dense bread pudding. I could only eat half! We decided to try this place as we were just walking around downtown Prescott. And this is one of the cheaper better places for food. The food was good delicious no complaints. The service at the bar was good solid. They made sure we had drinks they joked around with us a great attitude all around with the bar service. The ambience was good the Music was a good good level of the TVs were a good level not too loud just where you can talk and chat with each other without having to yell. read more

Was at this Cantina Restaurant yesterday, and what a great experience! We sat at the bar, and we were served a beer and an amazing Margarita immediately! We then ordered a couple of the Cantina Bowls, they were outstanding! The bartender, Tia, was so accommodating and helped with our food selections! We were looking for a place to watch the Big Ten championship and a local sent us here. Lots of televisions to watch the game but weird vibe. Very bright, more like a diner that happens to have a bar. Service was friendly but slow. It was a busy night and the staff seemed overwhelmed. My drink was good but I had to pass on the churros because they were fried in the same oil as shellfish and I have an allergy. Originally the runner said they were safe but she double checked and they were not. Honestly, this didn't same like a place that paid much attention to cross-contamination. It felt very chaotic. Came in with my husband @4:30, and sat at the bar. Two bartenders working but we were not even acknowledged, not by the bartenders and not by the server. I was having a hard time deciding on where to go for my birthday day. Looked at their menu & was excited. Our server recommended several things and he was spot on. The chipotle raspberry BBQ wings were amazing, along with the BBQ pork sliders & garlic cilantro fries. Birthday drink was a Harvest Mimosa that tasted perfectly like autumn in a glass. I made a grave mistake of not looking at the reviews before agreeing to try this place out. First the good news: it has a cool sports bar vibe with plenty of TV screens to catch your favorite sports. Also, larger square bar with plenty of seating. Restaurant also has great seating to see the TVs. Next, our waitress was very friendly and smiley. However, we could have used another beer, but was never offered one. Now for the part that wasn't so good and is most important: the FOOD . . . not so good. I ordered their beef dip with a side salad and choose ranch as my dressing. The "dressing" literally tasted and looked like it was just mayonnaise. The dip was just OK. We also ordered chips and queso for our table of 3 and that lacked serious flavor. Some jalapenos and jalapeño brine would take this up a notch! Probably won't return. read more

The Office used to be our go to place for lunch. Great food and great service. But lately the food has gone downhill and the wait times are a little extreme. We still come in for beers but are now going elsewhere to eat. We really hope whatever is going on gets rectified soon. read more

Noticed the recent poor review and decided to share our experience today. We arrived around 1:30 pm to order our favorite sliders. The waiter took our drink order and waited 15 minutes before returning to inquire if we planned to order food. Once we were served, we never saw him again, literally. The food was not cooked as requested and one of the burgers was cooked in the original paper wrapping! We couldn't complain because not a single staff member was in the public area, not even the bartender. We wanted to pay and leave so I searched for a staff member and found them gossiping in the back hallway. A young girl followed us back to the table and offered a gesture of "no charge". We insisted on paying but shared this was the second time in two weeks that our order wasn't satisfactory. The last time the waiter said he'd tell the cook. We've been enjoying exceptional food and service at this restaurant for two years. Whatever has changed is unacceptable for us and we won't be back. read more

She was wearing a ponytail and a hat, and was just beyond slow. Every time she wasn't serving she was just behind the bar stuffing her face, it took her forever to take my order, and when I asked for the rice options she didn't even know them and asked "do you want the rice in this picture," like, hello??? What kind of idiot do you have to not know the names of the only two different types of rice that you serve at your own restaurant. Food was cold, nothing spectacular, everything wasn't seasoned which is surprising for a so called Mexican restaurant, and for the garlic and cilantro fries they dumped TWO heaping scoops of garlic on the fries and called it good. The fries didn't even taste like garlic, mainly because they were well beyond "well done." This place is obviously more of a bar rather than a restaurant, and I wouldn't recommend coming here. read more

This used to be a great place to go for a couple of drinks after meetings in town and order standard or below standard fair bar food. The drinks eg craft beer mixed drinks though nothing special are ok and typically great value. But the food has a lot to be desired. In fact sitting on one side of the bar you get a great look into the kitchen which usually by 7:45 pm is complete shambles and makes one not want to order any food. Well they've updated there hours and now are closed on thursdays at 8:00 pm. We got there and just missed last call at 8:00. To here was a good customers still there and they cut everyone off. Many thank yous for your balance of keeping up with our crew and your other guests! The ambiance is chill , sporty and filled with delightful locals .. oh and of course the tourists. We ordered the traditional bone in hot sauce wings and we were not disappointed! The steamy hot sauce tingled our noses with excitement! Absolutely horrible, our waitress was kind but doesn't write anything down, salsa is nothing but tomato paste the guacamole literally has no flavor at all, they screwed up our order twice and at this point this is when we decided to pull the plug and get the check. I understand things happen and bad days occur for everyone but for such a horrible experience you think the manager would have the respect and decency to approach us and see what was going on. I own the second largest cattle ranch in AZ and half of my partners live here in Prescott and surrounding areas and this is a great way to lose,destroy, and kill a business that could easily be fixed. I am a full time wheelchair user and called before I visited to make sure it was ADA accessible. We parked in the back in the parking space and were excited to see the wheelchair lift. When we opened the lift door, there were bags of trash inside, wet beer floor & flies all over. We emptied it out and went to use the lift but it was turned off. Unfortunately I had to wheel in the street around the building into traffic as the sidewalk was not fully accessible. Please fix your lift and clean it out for us wheelchair users. Just went to the office for lunch and while I appreciate the alright service the food overall was really bad... $20 enchiladas with zero sauce and just mouthfuls of cheese. The Ruben had no sauce either. The cauliflower bites were amazing I'll give them that. Our appetizer came out after our entrees and the margarita we ordered also came late and it took forever to get the attention of our waiter to even order it. The "stacked enchilada" plate really just sucked, tasted like boiled shredded chicken covered in cheddar cheese. Pretty disappointed in the $67 dollar tab, I took two bites and was charged full price. Pretty nuts. read more
