Yummy pozole the large is easily three to four meals

El Asadero-the BEST in PV for breakfast lunch or whenever. Denise and her team provide excellent service and the food is the finest-the menudo can be red or white and the pozole is the bomb. Check out their agua frescas and crepes the best Sonoran dog

A new place to grab a good Mexican meal! This place is definitely tucked away in an unexpected corner along Robert Road in Prescott Valley. If it weren't for the red light we caught, we would have never seen it! It is actually a home turned diner with ample parking in a back lot. It is open Wednesday thru Sunday from 8-2 PM and breakfast is served only until 11 AM. They do serve menudo and pozole on the weekends until they run out! YUM! I will have to try some next time for sure! Now for the food... We ordered the carne asada burrito and a torta. All burritos come with beans, rice, and pico de gallo. The torta is fully loaded with lettuce, tomato, and avocado and served on a warm hot bolillo (roll). The torta could've used a bit more meat, but it was very tasty. We asked for hot salsa and it was spicy! Loved that! The one thing missing was the free chips and salsa that I'm used to getting at a Mexican restaurant. We ordered some as a side and unfortunately, they weren't the best. They looked like they were store bought and we just happened to get the bottom of the bag... a whole lot of bits and pieces! Service was exceptional. Place is very clean and there are plenty of tables both inside and on the outside patio. They do not serve alcohol, but that's not going to keep us away. Note to self: Drink a beer before!

    Huge horchata, very refreshing

This is the place for home style Mexican food. I had the two taco plate for lunch with carnitas and adobada. The plate comes with perfectly cooked rice that is not salty like so many restaurants fix it, and with refried beans. The beans were very good and I liked that they did not add too much cheese on top as cheese just masks the bean flavor. There was also a small garnish of lettuce, tomatoes and a lime. The tacos come on double tortillas and are topped with cilantro and onion. The carnitas were my favorite of the two, they had nice crispy bits from the grill. The adobada was nicely spiced ground pork, though I was thinking about chunks of pork, New Mexico style so was a bit surprised, but they were good. The horchata drink was huge! and was just the right amount of sweetness. The staff were pleasant and the food came out quickly. I wanted to sit on the nice patio but it was too windy the day I visited. I would definitely come back and try the barbacoa and chicken tacos.

Breakfast burrito is pretty good, needs some spicy jalapeño cream cheese though to be perfect! Red salsa is bomb!

The best stuffed French toast I've ever had, hands down. Very cute and pleasant atmosphere. Don't panic, parking's in the back! :)
