I would of done that if that wouldn't have painted me instantly as a weirdo and bought me a free restraining order. Great little place, looks like a home. Service is like you're in someone's home. I got breakfast there, a little late in the day, but still managed to make some of the best Juevos Rancheros I've ever had. Plus, the salsa is super tasty. My wife got a b-fast burrito and it was so good she gave me "the nub". Typically I do not partake in "nubbin' " but I am glad I did. Coming back for dinner in the next few weeks. Pretty good everything and nice, inviting place just things kind of expensive. $18 for menudo though a big enough bowl to take leftover home. $17.45 for specialized waffle with eggs & meat. The waffle was very tasty though and had fresh, sliced banana. $5.50 for a medium glass of fresh OJ. It must be the tariffs. A new place to grab a good Mexican meal! This place is definitely tucked away in an unexpected corner along Robert Road in Prescott Valley. If it weren't for the red light we caught, we would have never seen it! It is actually a home turned diner with ample parking in a back lot. It is open Wednesday thru Sunday from 8-2 PM and breakfast is served only until 11 AM. They do serve menudo and pozole on the weekends until they run out! YUM! I will have to try some next time for sure! Now for the food... We ordered the carne asada burrito and a torta. All burritos come with beans, rice, and pico de gallo. The torta is fully loaded with lettuce, tomato, and avocado and served on a warm hot bolillo (roll). The torta could've used a bit more meat, but it was very tasty. We asked for hot salsa and it was spicy! Loved that! The one thing missing was the free chips and salsa that I'm used to getting at a Mexican restaurant. We ordered some as a side and unfortunately, they weren't the best. They looked like they were store bought and we just happened to get the bottom of the bag... a whole lot of bits and pieces! Service was exceptional. Place is very clean and there are plenty of tables both inside and on the outside patio. They do not serve alcohol, but that's not going to keep us away. This is the place for home style Mexican food. I had the two taco plate for lunch with carnitas and adobada. The plate comes with perfectly cooked rice that is not salty like so many restaurants fix it, and with refried beans. The beans were very good and I liked that they did not add too much cheese on top as cheese just masks the bean flavor. There was also a small garnish of lettuce, tomatoes and a lime. The tacos come on double tortillas and are topped with cilantro and onion. The carnitas were my favorite of the two, they had nice crispy bits from the grill. The adobada was nicely spiced ground pork, though I was thinking about chunks of pork, New Mexico style so was a bit surprised, but they were good. The horchata drink was huge! and was just the right amount of sweetness. The staff were pleasant and the food came out quickly. I wanted to sit on the nice patio but it was too windy the day I visited. I would definitely come back and try the barbacoa and chicken tacos. read more

There's nothing inspiring me to return to this restaraunt. Stopped here to try the tacos Sunday. Ambiance is non existentexistent as it feels like your in someones vacant house with a temporary Mexican restaraunt in it. Blah. The service is okay in that they tell you to sit where you want and take your order. Ordered two tacos, they were out of chicken. So ordered marinated pork and shredded beef. And a small quesadilla. The food came out and the tacos at $3.50 each are skimpy and come with some chopped onion and cilantro. Went through the pork taco in two bites. The meat was crispy like grilled to long. Shredded beef taco okay with some salsa you have to ask for. Quesadilla just okay with some salsa. The bill came to $13 , added a $2 tip for some reason. It wasn't a good deal and as much as I dislike Del Taco in PV , I think it would have been better. read more

Well the first thing I want to say is that the service is good. The servers are polite and they explain what they have on the menu and extra stuff. Also my wife had the chilaquiles which were amazing. I had the burrito with carne asada which is grilled on mesquite wood and that was good. Also the huevos rancheros. Stumbled across this place after looking for a good breakfast on yelp. This place is outstanding. It is Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. The menudo was flavorful and cooked perfect. The portions were large and a good balance of meat and corn. I had the chilaquiles and the last in our group had the American breakfast. These also were great tasting. Would highly recommend this place for outstanding Mexican food. So much so our golf group went back the very next day for lunch. Even though it was 20 min before closing and we were a group of 8. This spot is such a hidden gem! We were in PV camping and stopped by here for some Chilaquiles! We had both kinda and they were yummy! They also made an exception and served us some Carne Asada tacos! The carne tasted delicious! You can tell they use carbon which we love! And last but not least... I ordered two grilled chicken tacos and a side of rice to go. Their menu is short and sweet and the tacos came plain on corn tortillas. The woman at the counter was very nice and showed me to the salsa and condiment bar and told me to help myself. They have a large selection of condiments and salsa to pick from. I picked up my favorites: shredded cabbage, onions, cilantro, guacamole, green salsa, and spicy carrots. Great little place. You are hit with wonderful aromas as soon as you walk in the door. We went for breakfast. We got Chilaquiles and Huevos Rancheros. The Chilaquiles Deluxe came with both green and red sauce. Very tasty and not too much heat. Huevos Rancheros were prepared well. This place is the best Mexican food in PV, it's not expensive, they're fast, and everyone is always so kind and inviting! They just added a new breakfast menu and it is STELLAR! Tried this place out for the first time after being told my a coworker that this place was the best Mexican food in town. The restaurant is located on the corner and almost looks like a house. There is plenty of parking on the backside where you can also enter. Upon entering, the seating is somewhat weird and very limited. We placed our order to go as there was no seating available at the time. We ordered the 3 taco meat with beans and rice & 2 drinks. The total for it all was $30, which was a bit much. The order took 15-20 minutes to prepare but you can tell they were busy. I would like to add that the cashier that helped us was really nice. The food itself was alright, it's definitely authentic and you can tell by the atmosphere and the food taste. Definitely a good place to check out. I'd advice to order ahead as they can get busy quick. They serve only breakfast and lunch. read more
