Usually Lindstrom does a great job but the past 2-3 times it just keeps getting worse. I've gone in the afternoon and I get it, the workers are probably tired as hell so this time I went today shortly after 8am thinking that they would do a much better job since it was top of the morning. I ordered The Works wash which is $35 plus tip with the hope that they would remove the water spots and bug residue from my front bumper and side doors. When they drove my car up to the touch up area my car looked much cleaner. Mind you, my car wasn't filthy to begin with. I just really needed those water spots removed which were not deep whatsoever. I was in a rush so I didn't do a walk through because the employee was working on my car for at least 10 minutes so I figured she cleaned up the noticeable spots. I don't expect the car to be immaculate because I didn't order a detail. When I arrived home I got out of my car and walked around. Low and behold the spots were still there. I blame myself for not taking the time to do a quick walk around but I also expected better service than what I had paid for which was a total of $40. I called Lindstrom and explained everything to them. The woman on the phone told me that its $100 minimum for spot removal depending how deep it is. I wasn't about to pay that so I took a wet towel and did it myself. I was probably better off going to the cheaper car wash a quarter mile up the street. read more

I have been a customer of Lindstrom for the past 7 years. While I have seen some faces come and go the quality is always there and the faces always friendly. I have never once had an issue with them. If they miss something (they are human after all) just speak up kindly and they will happily make it right! I have moved further away but will continue to be a patron. This place has completely gone downhill over the years. My entire family has always come here because it was safe for our larger trucks. Even though I knew it had been getting bad I kept coming out of convenience. Constant half assed "towel dry" leaving spots. Dirt is always still left over too. Today was the last straw when I drove off realizing my mirror covers were COMING OFF and it feels like it may have gotten caught of something and the tabs broke inside. I had to tell them about spots they were missing then the workers got upset because I had to tell them that when I clean it myself at home it becomes cleaner. When I arrived at Lindstrom I was expecting a similar experience to my first a couple weeks earlier. The check in staff sold me on a "detail" wash for $120. The service was supposed to take an hour, but nearly two hours later the detail service was complete. I was extremely disappointed with the service since it was no better than the $40 service from my previous experience. I recently visited Lindstrom with the expectation of receiving a high-quality service based on the positive reviews I had read. Unfortunately, my experience was abysmal Every other time I have gone I was pleased with the results. On Sunday, August 18th I went in to get The Works. I didn't realize there was a cut in my driver's seat until I got home (they were closed at that time but I sent an email, which was bounced back from their server). I was able to call the morning of August 19th and was told to come in during my lunch to speak with the manager. I spoke with a man who said he was one of the managers, but refused to give me his name. He told me he needed to look at the cameras to see what happened. He went in to the office and said I wasn't allowed to review the tape with him. After about 10 minutes inside he said there was nothing he could do about it. I asked if I could speak to an owner, general manager or anybody above the man whose name I didn't know. My number was taken down and I was told I should expect a call from whoever is above this manager by that Friday August 23rd. I was not given a number for a person in charge like I requested. By that Friday I never received a call. I followed up in person Saturday August 24th, since I didn't receive a call. Spoke to a gentleman that says he's the one in charge. "There is nothing we can do. I checked the cameras and they cannot see what happens in the cars". I learned a lesson with this encounter with Lindstrom. If you do decide to take your car in, get pictures and videos of all parts of your car, especially the interior, because they won't take responsibility for any damage done to the inside of your car. If I could give zero stars I would! My husband has brought our cars here numerous times and NOT ONCE have they done a good job. Yesterday was the last straw. They didn't vacuum or wipe anything down in the inside. I'm not expecting an exceptional detail job based on the pricing, but if you're providing a service where you're going to detail the inside of the car, then do it! The service n the Saturday I visited was fast, efficient and friendly. My car was very dirty after driving 6 hours. It was perfectly cleaned once the wash was finished. The only issue was interior cleaning. Would rate that at 70%. The exterior 90%. They get 5 stars for the exterior wash, fast, friendly service and prices. They do have a full detail center along with all the stuff you would expect inside from drinks to air fresheners. With washes over 15.99 they give you a free air freshener with your choice of scent.
