Which was great for me. We bought some nuts and tons of Malban. Basically sugar, cornstarch and some nuts with some other flavours. We picked up just about each flavour. We have eaten just about all of them and they delicious. They are not too sweet and taste fresh. Other store bought are too chewy. But these were just right. Loved them. They also have fresh ground coffee that they grind right in front of you and add fresh cardamom seeds. The coffee smells so good and taste amazing. The lady behind counter tells us that soon they are going to start serving freshly made brewed coffee. Can't wait for it.

The woman works during the day and a man at night, and while the guy is nicer than the woman, he's not much better. You really have to check when you go to buy stuff here - is it any good? We have bought candy, bread, milk and ice cream from them that are all extremely old. We bought some coke cans from them one day, cracked it open to drink and spit it out immediately - turned out it was 6 months past it's sell by date. The woman yells at her customers and is very unfriendly. I don't even like to come by the store because the woman is so mean. There are tons of variety stores on Kerr ST, so we won't be giving this one our business any further. We'll just walk to the one down the street with personable staff and items that aren't a year old - it's worth the extra little hike to not get treated like you're bothering them by giving them your business.

The screen on the machine provided an error code. When I asked the woman about this she became irate and yelled at me about how it wasn't her machine. She was not in charge of it. The machine is in your facility which means you are renting it, which places its performance under your charge, I will not be going back in to the store for anything. Especialy since their product inventory is dismal at best as well. Very unsatisfied

Although I still had a small bag of pumpkin spiced popcorn that I recently purchased stateside, I love Kernels so much. There was a deal going on. If you get a medium or large bag of popcorn, your second one is 50% off. Perfect! There were two women ahead of me. They were pretty confused and couldn't make a decision getting a frozen treat. They left. The woman behind the counter was cheerful. I said that I was going to get two large bags. She nodded. The toughest part was narrowing down my choices to two flavours. I got the following: - Butter salt - Thai sweet chili What was tough was that I normally get three bags. There used to be a deal where if you got two bags, your third was free. So, I had an internal debate between Thai sweet chili or jalapeno jack. I chose the former. It didn't take long for her to pack a couple of bags with my flavours. I paid with a debit card. Done! She was so patient waiting for me to place my card in my wallet, and then my wallet in my purse. I thanked her, grabbed my two bags of yumminess, and headed to my car. I like that these bags have handles. It makes carrying them a lot easier and you don't have to think about getting a shopping bag. My favourite is the butter salt. It's so good. It's the perfect balance of butter and salt. It's not horribly salty. It's just right. I'm like Goldilocks finding the just-right bag of popcorn, but without the bear family. I haven't cracked open my bag of Thai sweet chili. I have had it before, so I'm looking for that perfect combination of heat with a touch of sweetness. It's a great store. I'm so glad that I dropped by. When I'm in the area, I'd definitely get some popcorn here. (381)
