I am very glad that we were able to find Ley! She is very easy to get in contact with and has awesome prices. She was able to give a little demo on how the linens and everything would look like and gave some feedback if something looked weird and made great suggestions. Since I'm a visual person, it was nice to see the table setting beforehand. We had our reception in the Marine Room at Marina Village (they already have her insurance info and stuff so if yours is at the Marina Village no need to worry about it from her). Ley and her crew got there at 9:30 AM and set up almost everything within an hour or so. I also wanted to give a special thank you to the lady who tied all the burlap bows on our chair covers. I was looking for a small order, 5 table covers and found Ley on Yelp. I messaged her and she replied promptly with a quote. She sent me an invoice right away and required 20% just to hold, I thought that was odd for an order that was only $41 (why can't I pay $41 at pickup) but whatever I paid in full because $8 to hold is just silly and I continued on.. The scheduling was a little...ugh... I'll use the word odd again.. She does not work on the weekend so I had to pick up by Friday (parties are usually Saturdays and Sundays) The store was NOT open during business hours, the table covers were hanging on the door up for grabs. Keep in mind the location is not in the best neighborhood so another ugh.. but again I carried on because I received the colors needed... Monday morning I wake up to an email of her requesting her table covers back... I have not even cleaned up the hall from the party the following night yet your asking for your covers back? Can I get at least 24 hours to return?? Overall experience was not a professional manner. Pricing was great but due to lack of professionalism, I would rather pay the competition the extra $2 a cover, just to have a face to face experience or store open during normal business hours! You get what you pay for here and I would highly pass up this business for our next party. read more

Ley was amazing! We went to her because we heard of her amazing prices and we were even happier after meeting Ley and seeing how accommodating she was. As anyone knows with weddings, nothing turns out the way you planned it to be in the beginning. Guest counts change and with that so does everything that follows - napkins, table linens, etc. Ley knew that and was ready and willing to help us keep everything in order. She even let us stop by on numerous occasions to test out different color settings and fabrics to make sure everything was the way we would want it to look. When we picked up the linens to drop off at our venue, we were missing one of the table runners. We said we could wait or pick it up ourselves so it wouldn't be a hassle for her, but instead Ley insisted she would drop it off at the venue for us so we wouldn't have to worry about it, which was very sweet of her. When we walked into the ballroom, everything looked incredible! The tables looked even better than we could've imagined. We used Affordable Events for our recent wedding reception. They came highly recommended from my sister in law's wedding last year. Ley was really helpful and met with us several times, even allowing us to set up a mock table in her dining room! She was very patient in adding and subtracting items from our invoice as we planned our wedding. Ley even folded the napkins how we wanted them before the reception. She made suggestions but also let me have the final say in what I wanted. The reception venue turned out beautiful! Ley was very easy to work with. We visited her showroom and it was so helpful to be able to see the linens in person. She arranged for delivery and pick up. Setting up the linens is not included in delivery (and is an extra fee), so be sure that your caterer or coordinator can do this for you. Ley was also transparent about this. We did have a mix up on the day of, but it was taken care of before I was even made aware of it. Napkins were somehow missing from the delivery. My caterer was able to call someone at the Linen Lady and they napkins were delivered promptly. My only complaint would be that the napkins were not the color in our original order (we had ordered beige tablecloths with ivory napkins). When the napkins were delivered, they were beige to match the tablecloths. It still looked beautiful, but just wasn't what we had ordered. I would recommend using the Linen Lady. read more

We had a Mickey Mouse themed baby shower and were referred from a friend for the linens and boy we are so happy with the outcome.
